I'm overjoyed by my discovering of the DA: Keep.

I'm relatively new to this franchise and I hadn't looked into that device yet.

It's pretty cool how you can do it for free, but most of all, I'm amazed at just how simple it is to create a world state.

Alas, I still haven't bought DA:O or DA2 either.

More than that, I don't feel like creating a world state to start a new game in my crappy PS3 version of DA:I. And sadly, I won't be getting a PS4 anytime soon as it's ridiculously expensive where I live.

I will, someday. Just... not as soon as I'd like to.

i do like the keep system good luck with everything. at some point it might be worth getting the other games as they are great but for now i hope you enjoy inquisition

If you choose to, I would suggest getting the DAO Ultimate Edition. It contains all dlc. I bought it for $19.99 a few years ago.

DA2 is good. I found the dlc's were better than the main game and worth the purchase

Has anyone else found the hidden area of the Storm Coast? eg not Dragon Island

Currently finding many rare items which are overloading my storage chest and schematics are everywhere I do not have to buy.

Starting a new playthrough of DAO, I'll jump right into DA2 afterwards and into DAI after that. Guess thats about 200 hours of DA for me this week, thank the maker I don't have a real life.

Lol. Sounds kind of my case except mine went for Dorian. It may kind of go something like this.
 
Dorian: "I hear you dumped the bull."

I thought Chateau d'Onterre was a lot of fun. Interesting codex and story, and a few t3 schematics and the permanent cunning bonus were pretty nice, too. Plus, dragging those poor companions around a haunted house never ceases to amuse me, regardless of which game it is

Edit 1: Just went there. No T3 schematics found. Probably because I already have most of them. But I did I get an Amulet of Power. Forgot about that one too.

 

Edit 2: No Amulet of Power for Cole. Looks like that was removed from the game. Played it again to make sure. Sigh. The one I got for Dorian, mentioned above, was from a war table mission.

went to creswood, did some quests but for the most part i ran strait at the dragons location. he's not there, but if i look down the cliff behind where you fight him i can see him sleeping. probably have to do the other quests to get to him oh well.

playing inquisition just drained the dam in crest wood and have the computer next to me watching anime at the same time. put the controller down for a sec while i closed a rift and the controller vibrated onto the keyboard without me noticing. the thing paused and i thought vlc had crashed spent a few min trying to work out what was wrong (now i feel stupid lol)

In keeping up with the thread, I've used up all my likes again, but I'll reserve a like of commiseration for having to play 'computer' instead of games on your days off, like I did. Hopefully a loose part is all it is... Although suddenly loose parts in CPU coolers doesn't sound like a particularly good thing either

Quoting this again because....I believe I figured out the problem. So good news there. Bad news is: my cpu fan isn't spinning. At all.  I could barely move it manually as well. More bad news: I couldn't get it out in order to clean it (which might not help anyway) which means I'm going to have to remove the whole darn heatsink in order to replace the fan.   So, looks like a trip to Best Buy is in my near future. Sigh.....I hate being my own tech support. Makes me want to just buy a new pc next time.

You must drain the lake for it to retreat from its resting spot. If you're lucky, you can potentially shoot it while it's still resting. It's funny.

Problem is, why do you need over 500 things. The most for me would be 250.

Actually in all my other PT I got to the part when "Rat" was in the tavern instead of Sutherland's crew but when her dialogue stopped the new operation never triggered for some reason...

Thanks. No worries though. I might also take the opportunity to put in a new case fan while I'm at it. The heat sink takes up too much space for me to work around, but if I have to take it off anyway, then it's just a matter of getting all the cables out of the way.

 

I'll just have to take a longer break from Dorian than originally planned. At least I have a whole bunch of screenshots to keep me occupied in the meantime.  And this place is never boring.

 

Edit: Since I couldn't get the fan out, I decided to stick my air duster straw down in its innards to see if I could clear out any blockages. It appears to have worked for the moment [crosses fingers] as the fan is spinning again. Going to load up DAI to see how long it will last.

The same happened in my first PT, then I read in the DA Wikia that:

and then I knew what went wrong, cause I had just finished What Pride Had Wrought =/

So real life's decided it's more important than gaming again. *dramatic sigh* Jo Trev went to meet Varric's friend, I spent way longer than necessary in Hawke's CC, then...had to scrap it all so I could deal with real life Isabela (...or Merrill? I don't know which Hawke this is ) is going to be so upset that the big dumb Champion is off dealing with earth-shattering matters on her own again.

 

@Melbella - Glad to hear you've found a (temporary?) fix. Being your own tech support is a bummer, but I bought a new computer last time and not only was it weaker, it's kind of a pain to spend hours on the phone, only for tech support to tell you to send it in or take it in wherever you bought it from to see what they can do about it. It's like a constant loop of "go ask your mother" but then nobody actually knows what the problem is or how to fix it   If you've got the know-how, I think you and Spork have the right idea.

I put Mesh Quality on High, but still no scars. What's the other graphic option that needs to be at a higher setting for me to be able to see scars? Seriously, all of this just for scars. :'(
