Good to know. Scary Leliana is scary.

The most chilling part is that psychotic smirk she gets. The poor dear was never terribly stable, but that... You could see that poor mind snapping and slipping into the dark, frozen depths of insanity. I actually cried the first time I saw it. I was like nooooooooooooooo! Leliana! Come back to the light!

That woman is far too easily influenced by people.

Yeahhh, I even said out loud to my monitor, "Jeez Leliana! What happened to you??" ...and here it was my fault.

Templars became my toysoldiers.

Sera calls me a looney :P

The templars thing has some merit - do they peel your grapes? :P

Sera is calling the pot calling the kettle black and she is a very black pot. :P

I set up my world state to try and make Leliana a little less scary this time around. I couldn't believe that scene at the chantry.

Ha. The previous playthrough I just finished she was b*t*hy when it came to talking about the Hero Of Fereldon who "killed" her. The tale about her being "saved" isn't too bad. Yeah I had my femWarden be the Ultimate b*t*h. She even stabbed Morrigan. Even Morrigan didn't have anything nice to say about her. Hahahaha.

Started playing as a female Qunari Two-hander who is almost fundamentally the opposite of my Dalish mage Inquisitor so that I can see as much as I can of what i missed in my first play through.

They know not to defy the Inquisitor. There are multiple reasons why the prison is empty B)

Being looney with Sera is the best kind of looney. Or like someone used to say: Love, huh? What a kick in the quad

Cassandra ended up as the Divine in my first game. I'm planning on Leliana this time, cuz I want to romance Cassandra and don't want her to go all chaste on me, heh.

All through my first total playthrough I was talking to both Lolly and Cass about chances of being divine etc. Actually could never find Lolly in order to talk to her but I did try - I roolly, roolly did. They made Lolly the new Divine anyway - without me. (sniff).

The question being - does the 'squid have any impact on this decision? Does Mother Giselle have anything to do with it? I stopped liking her when she started picking on Dorian.

I think I have it set up this time where my warden had stabbed Morrigan, but he romanced Leliana... I think. So, looking forward to that. Have to set up a 'Leliana dies' world state next time.

The Long March through the Western Approach continued today.

Sullastine and company spent too much time wading through the sand and choking on sulfur fumes. At one point, Cass suggested they ought to boot some Venatori out of an old pile of rock and since everyone was more or less suffering from various states of sun induced delirium, they team agreed it sounded like a lot of fun. So, they stormed that castle despite some cranky old hermit waving and wishing them good luck with that.

There was one point where Sullastine miscast her Fade Step spell and went charging out of a protected position into the lines of sight of two archers. It suddenly seemed like a good idea to take a dirt nap with a double quiver of arrows decorating her armor. Of course, the rest of the group thought she had discovered some kind of novel new strategy and she was joined by Bull and Dorian in fairly short order ... but not before Dorian cast Haste and threw out the BEES!! Under cover of the slow motion chaos, they quickly ascertained that death is not a winning strategy and decided to wing it from there. Between liberal application of BEES!!, fire, lots of running around, a chicken, some potions and Cassandra's rendition of the Dance of a Thousand Veils, the tide of the battle was swiftly turned in their favor and the Venatori were left wondering what had actually happened.

After a good long rest in the newly captured Keep during which they all suffered under a boil order (apparently, drinking corpse contaminated water isn't good for you), the group got underway again to try to shore up there new base of operations by bringing out the dead and purifying the water. After an afternoon of trying to fish bloated corpses up the well with the water bucket, Captain Rylen finally got the courage to suggest to Sullastine that it might just be easier to find a new water source.

Sullastine and crew set off again chasing the adventure of finding a water hole. But things are looking up ... those are Darkspawn wandering around on the horizon. Leliana's scouts can find an oasis. The Inquisitor better deal with these random Darkspawn!

Well my little elf mage told Cassandra she'd be a good Divine, and told Leliana she wouldn't be, so ...maybe?

We have the Daenerys Inquisitors. We have the Jaime Inquisitors. Do we have any Joffery Inquisitors? I would think the Elf base would work best.

"I'm the Herald of Andraste! Bow before me!"

Unfortunately there's no innocent girl whose father he can execute.

Would buy the game again if it were possible to play such a character.

I would like to introduce you to Lyell Trevelyan. Ostwick nobility. Rogue archer. What the hell he was doing at the conclave I have no idea. But that isn't where this story starts, so eh, doesn't matter. (I'm also thinking - at last some decent male heads). Peaceful slumber has hit the highway for our intrepid adventurer inquisitor since he got a bad case of snotty hand and checked out Dorian's moustache for the first time. Gotta scratch that itch. Some long lingering looks between the two of them at Skyhold and everything is as it should be.

Now I gotta get back to playin', since that's what I do. :D

You're supposed to have a locked in romance with the daughter.

Hmm... maybe Josie comes closest to that?

So I finally reverted back to a previous save and completed In Hushed Whispers.

Champions of the Just feels like a measly side quest compared to that.

Went to Redcliffe to side with the mages in this play through.  What the crap Fiona WHY would you sell yourselves to Tevinters?

Dunno how this quest ends yet but this almost reinforces my decision to side with the Templars last play through...

Yup, I'm planning on siding with the mages this time too, even though I know Cassandra's not gonna like it, heh.

Whew - survived the assault on Haven last night, but it took several attempts on Nightmare (prepped by getting to level 10 and then went for it with a bit of new gear). I now have a bit of a love-hate relationship with trebuchets. I love using them to cause massive avalanches, and I hate defending them against waves of red templars on Nightmare.

Took forever to beat Knight-Commander Behemoth-Who-Might-Have-Been-Named-Denin-or-Whatever down (I was busy trying not to die!), but it was manageable after I killed all the adds and then kept Dorian (poor Dorian, so squishy during that fight!) and Varric out of range of his melee attack. Blackwall was a champ tanking that behemoth (thank the Maker).

I finally finished my first playthrough, However, I stuffed up who I made divine.  Cassandra went back to the Seekers. I think I know where I went wrong though, so maybe next time.

That final cut scene though... my head is still spinning from that.

I just play casual when i do these games. I find the combat challenging enough for me, and it's all I want out of the game combat-wise. that said, I'm not one to say "never" to nightmare difficulty -- sometimes I just hate to see those greyed-out achievements, heh, but this game? I dunno if I'll be ready for that for awhile yet.

As for my game, on the way up to the temple of sacred ashes I decided my archer looked like an idiot so I'm going back to the CC.  :pinched:

Killed the Abyssal High Dragon (that's #2) then took on the Wardens at Adamant Fortress. Stopped them from doing the crazy and ended up back in the Fade for my trouble. Solas was excited; the rest of us, not so much. Killed lots of demons, put some spirits to rest, and said good-bye to not-quite-Hawke. She stayed behind while the rest of us got out. Gave Varric a hug once we got back to Skyhold. Sent Erimond to the Wardens and Ser Ruth to the Deep Roads. Solas wasn't happy with any of the decisions I made but he still loves me anyway.   Also tried to convince Cullen he doesn't need lyrium to be effective (can't wait to romance him next playthrough :D).
