Yeah, I think I just throw the last few coins into the fountain, to get my court approval back to 100 (I think it's at 98 atm  ) and then I run to the Rift. 

I got all the secrets in my first PT and I got enough influence, by giving her the ones I found, to get an Inquisition Perk +1.

So, I'm nearly done with WEWH but I'm one secret for Leliana short and I don't know what I forgot/oversaw to collect.  (I go by the guide from the DA wiki) I'm thinking of leaving it be and just going to the Rift and the cursing Fereldan.

You do need to use a couple halla statues to get to it, so you might want to plan your statues around it.

The game guide has maps with the locations for secrets/coins/statues marked, but it's not really that helpful because it doesn't differentiate between the various stages of the quest.  I don't know how many times I've run around the spot indicated only to find nothing.

true it doesn't say what is where and when, but most game guilds that i looked at stop at 10 halla while there are actually 11 in the mission. as for the maps, they were small while the ones i found on google were much larger (my screen is 17 inches and they took up the whole thing) as a result i found it easier to keep track of where i was and where i had been. what had and had not been collected.

I'm using this guide and don't really have problems with finding stuff, more that I get lost when there are too many directions in the guide.

 

Example:

 

Proceed north until a wall is reached. Turn right, go up the stairs, down the walkway and up the ladder. In the balcony room, there is a loot chest with a Wrapped Longbow Grip Schematic and a Halla Statue in the corner. On the balcony railing, there is a caprice coin on the south balcony pillar closest to the wall.

 

 

Note: Don't forget, that I have to translate everything into german in my head. @__@

Thank you!   It's the Elven Scout Armour from the Hissing Wastes merchant. The female and male versions look different to each other.

 

Lavellan has given Dorian his amulet back, and it seems Mr Moustache was rather grateful after all. That romance scene was so cute!  Dorian was worried that Lavellan is only interested in a bit of fun. But no, Lavellan told Dorian that he wants to have a meaningful relationship, and the moustache mage is so happy. Oh, this is the sort of romance I always love, where I’m grinning like an idiot.

 

They went off to deal with the Wardens of Adamant Fortress, which has come down with a serious case of demons again. The Wardens are a strange bunch if they think that loosing demons all over the place is better than darkspawn. The elf, Jana, was sacrificed by Clarel.  That just made Lavellan's blood boil. He wanted to give the Wardens the benefit of the doubt, but they've sacrificed this poor woman for blood magic. Maybe a change of leadership would help? Tear down Clarel and put someone a little less extreme in her place (hah, I'm not sure Loghain would be the right choice though).

 

The party ended up in the Fade. Blackwall reminded Solas to focus on the task at hand, and the elf got all snippy. Then Lavellan asked if he'd ever been here and he said "Why would I ever come here?" in an annoyed tone. Maybe because you're a big Fade nerd?  Cole is out of harm's way for this mission. 

 

The Nightmare tried to taunt everyone again. I know everyone brushes it off or is defiant, but Dorian's reply is my favourite.

Nightmare: Hello, Dorian. It is Dorian, isn't it? For a second I almost mistook you for your father.

Dorian: That was rather uncalled for.

He sounds like he's dealing with a rude house-guest or something. 

 

They encountered lots of little spiders everywhere. Lavellan and Hawke saw spiders, anyway. It's probably because they spent too much time in the Free Marches. They've been traumatised by all the spiders there.  Hmm, if Blackwall's greatest fear is himself... does that means he sees lots of tiny Blackwalls running around instead of spiders? The gravestone said that Dorian's greatest fear is temptation. Instead of focusing on the task, Lavellan is dwelling on that. Dorian said that he didn't dare hope for a long-lasting, permanent relationship. Maybe that plays into the temptation thing? Afraid of being tempted to fall in love? Ha, perhaps having a romantic evening before a major battle was a bad idea. 

 

I wonder if there's lots of Avvar architecture in the Fade because spirits are their gods?

Anywho, the team fought an aspect of the Nightmare (Lavellan died a lot because the thing was on fire the whole time). Loghain was chosen to stay behind (I'll save you one day, promise) and Hawke was free to go onto Weisshaupt alone. The Wardens stayed and got a lecture. I doubt Hawke will be alone for long though.

All right...figured out the screenshot issue. Apparently having "print screen" keyed as the default button doesn't work  so I added "insert" as the second choice and it works just fine.

Decided to wander around the basin for a nighttime stroll.  Took some amazing pictures along the way.

 

 

 

 

The dialogue is the best.  I do need to remember Varric's comeback.  Seems like a hobbit I know.

 

We were having a blast jumping puddles in the swamp.  BTW, Antivan fire is great for making silhouettes.  No pictures, because I was busy making them with the Hakkonites.  Sadly, we hit a roadblock trying to reach the Old Temple the hard way.  It's always detours, roadblocks, cops or raining.  Can't do much about the weather, but Bull suggested a SU152 [tank] would be Russia's answer to the roadblock, the road, and the block behind it....

While exploring beneath Vigil's Keep, I noticed that "Hakkon" used to be spelled "Haakon."

 

Made it out of the mine with all inventory items returned (took me a few tries against the dragons since I'm playing on Hard) and a new merchant recruited (who looks even less like a qunari than Sten did ). Mistress Woolsey (not to be confused with Lord Woolsley ) was quite happy that trade is slowly returning to normal. After helping out both Sigrun and Anders with their personal issues, Natia took on the local smugglers and put them out of business. Now they're in the Blackmarsh looking into what happened to Warden Kristoff. So far all they've found is a few packs of blight wolves, some weird dragon bones, and a toy horse with Oghren's name on it.

[Ivy Lavellan]

Sweet little Lavellan's been busy lately. She was victorious in Emprise du Lion, capturing all camps there. Suledin keep beckoned, but sweet little Lavellan decided it might've been unwise to go there while still at level 13. So she left Emprise du Lion for now, but not before she obtained all that silverite she came there for! Now she and her trusty companions Bull, Cole ans Solas all wear brand new and shiny fully upgraded silverite armor. The joy!
After that endeavour sweet little Lavellan grew bold enough to try her skill against a High Dragon! And so into the Hinterlands she went, into the scorched valley where the Fereldan Frostback dwelt. And after much sweat, potions, burns, bleeding and limping the beast lay dead! And so the score was opened: High Dragons of Thedas - 0, sweet little Lavellan - 1.
After returning to Skyhold Bull proceeded to corrupt my sweet little Lavellan by getting her drunk for the first time in her life. And it wasn't actually shown, but I just know that when they were done, he had to carry her back to her quarters and put her to bed there, lest she spend the night sleeping under the table in the tavern. That would be awkward.
It wasn't the end of her notable adventures by far. She also went to Crestwood, tried to befriend the Qunari (yes, all of them), and learned a bit about evil Corypheus' plans, but more on that later.
Oh, and Solas told her he loved her. Poor girl is completely smitten.

When I left Kubrie, the gang -- Bull, Varric, and Solas this time -- were about to take on the Abyssal High Dragon. Bull was excited and ready and said Kubrie was the best boss. She knew that already. Varric simply said, "let's try not to die, okay?" Oh ye of little stature faith. Solas said nothing at all, but looked determined, I guess. 

 

The fight wasn't really that bad at all. Used a few health potions but everyone survived. The Abyssal High Dragon put up a bit more of a fight than Frosty did, but only because she seemed to jump around a lot more.I gotta say, a DW Assassin may, just may, be more fun to play than a 2H warrior, but don't tell Dofni I said that. All I know is Kubrie's Stealth+Twin Fang sneak attack is pretty much one-shot-death to anything smaller than she is. Add Mark of Death and Hidden Blades and most things that aren't giants or dragons die pretty quickly too. It's kind of awesome to watch when you can time the stealth right. And the beauty of it is, one passive in the assassin skill tree removes the cooldown on stealth if the target dies from the attack. It's glorious.

 

Uh, anyway, The dragon died. Still no FRAPS when I did this fihht unfortunately, but Frederic is happy and joined the Inquisition, and it was the last thing we had to do in the Western Approach. yay. Back to Skyhold. Before getting to the romance scene, I wrapped up a whole bunch of war table stuff, and now all the advisors are pretty much waiting for me to advance the plot. Varric has written a book for Cassie, and the missing seekers have been found, so Cassie is a happy woman. Josie's family troubles have been dealt with, and Leliana's little birds were dispatched to take care of the contract. Still have to go back to Val Royeaux and talk to Josie about that. She won't be happy but that's okay. As you're about to see, she's going to be quite distracted in a moment, and that contract will undoubtedly be the furthest thing from her mind.

 

What else? Oh, took Dorian to meet with his father. Talk about awkward. But, showed Dorian unconditional support through the whole thing, and he's a happy man again. or he will be once he's thought things through a bit. He did promise Kubrie that no matter what happens in the future he will always be by her side, so that's pretty cool.

 

Finally, rather than go to Adamant and finish up with Here Lies the Abyss, Kubrie decided to take everyone -- Bull, Varric, and Vivienne for now --out to the Exalted Plains, where they cleared the first of the undead-infested ramparts and found a few shards already. Also found the third and last Tome for Viv's collection, so she is content again. Sent her back to Skyhold where I'm sure she is much happier, and called for Solas to join us, so we can go after his captive spirit friend, and that's what we'll be doing next, among other things. The last of the of the Venatori Dorian wants to fight with is out here somewhere, and there's another rogue on Cassie's hit list, too. Also, I'm sure there's a dragon around here somewhere. 

 

But first. After playing this out, I had to save, re-install FRAPS, and play it out again just to share the awesomeness that is Josie Montilyet.

 

I give you... Kubrie Adaar and the Iron Bull. Romance, scene two.

Bull: Really? Well... I think I've got something for you, too. Come on. I'll go first.

 

Scene fades out. When it fades in again, Kubrie and Bull are doing their best to recreate the Mass Effect romance scene, with Kubrie already fully dressed. :disappointed: 

 

Bull: There we go. No Inquisition. Nothing outside this room. Just you and me. So... What did you want to talk about?

 

I have to say here that the one thing I dislike about this romance is that even if I'm not playing Kubrie to be a meek and submissive partner, Bull's tone of voice during these just-the-two-of-them scenes makes it sound like he's trying to calm someone who is suffering from hysterics. Ah well, on to the hilarity. 

 

Before Kubrie can answer, they are interrupted by the sound of a door opening. 

 

Cullen: Sorry to disturb your rest, Inquisitor, but our fortifi-uhh. Oh, sweet Maker! 

 

Bull: Cullen. How's it going? 

 

Josie: Is the Inquisitor awake? 

 

Josie: I thought perhaps we-ohh. Mmph. 

 

Kubrie's face after picking the "oh dear" dialogue option. She doesn't say a word.

 

Cullen: Uh. I-I-I'm so... sorry.

 

Josie: I cannot move my legs.

 

Cassie then had to stop by, looking inexplicably angry about something. Maybe just wondering why Cullen and Josie are acting so weird? That changes pretty quickly anyway. I just can't stop laughing at Josie's expression throughout this whole exchange.

 

Cassie: Is something the matt- Ahhh!

Bull: Oh, for f***s sake. 

 

Cassie: Do you see this?

Cullen: No.

Cassie: So...I take it-

 

Bull: Actually... she's the one who's been taking it. 

Cullen: *snicker*

 

Cassie: I apologize for interrupting what I assume was a... momentary diversion.

Cullen: Nothing wrong with having a bit of fun.

 

Josie: Who wouldn't be a little curious?

 

Josie's tone of voice and expression suggests she's been more than a little curious since she walked into the room, heh. It was great, and aside from what is actually a pretty good romance in it's own right, it's worth romancing Bull just to see Josie in this scene. In the next little bit, Kubrie has a choice here. She can say it was just a fling and the romance will end, or she can basically tell everyone that it's an actual true thing and they should just back off. The dialogue goes like this:

 

Kubrie: This was more than just a momentary diversion and Bull and I intend to continue. Is that a problem?

Cullen: No!

Josie: Not at all!

Cassie: A surprise, I'll admit... but not a problem.

Cullen: We'll leave you be.

Josie: Yes. Do enjoy yourselves.

*All three leave*

 

Then the two are alone again, and there are different ways to play the dialogue when Bull asks if Kubrie is okay, I chose for her to be slightly perturbed, but in a playful way.

 

Bull: You okay, boss?

Kubrie: No! I didn't say "Katoh" but here you stopped anyway. 

Bull: *Shakes head*

 

Kubrie: But since we have a moment.

Bull: What's that?

Kubrie: A dragon's tooth. Split in two. So no matter how far apart life takes us, we're always together.

 

It is here that the whole Bull-is-in-charge-and-Kubrie-is-his-meek-submissive tone is reasserted. Not that it is badly done, and it is actually kinda sweet, but I've been trying not to play Kubrie that way it doesn't seem to matter. I'm not complaining really, but the romance does lose a few points here because of that.

 

Bull: Not often people surprise me, Kadan.

Kubrie: Kadan?

Bull: Kadan. My heart.

Kubrie: Kadan.

He lowers her down to the bed and the scene fades out.

 

Great scene. My understanding is that there is one more scene later on. I hope so, or I'll feel cheated. I guess I have to advance the plot a bit, so the gang is headed back out to the Exalted Plains, and then either going to the Winter Palace or Adamant. Haven't decided yet. The red templars are up to something on the Storm coast and Sutherland's crew will very soon be in some trouble there, too. Perhaps after we next leave the Plains we'll have to go there.

about to do what pride had wrought but i have one war table thing to finish first. otherwise i have done everything. cleared maps killed people, found weird elven tombs gathered all the shards so I'm pretty much done up till there. going to wait about four hours before doing it so that i have everything finished.

I would've had my 2 current playthroughs done already, but unforeseen events had to be dealt with

 

My archer saw Hawke in Crestwwod.

 

Closed a few rifts and killed the dragon.

 

Went to the approach and saw Lord whatever. Will start adamant shortly

 

One thing I noticed in my playthroughs is that once I have all the powers that I will use, the game becomes very easy regardless if leveling up or not. I'm at level 16 and killing enemies without any problem even on nightmare mode

Powering through Julian's PT as we speak. The dragon slaying dream team (Julian, Cassandra, Bull and Vivienne) took down the dragons in the Exalted Plains, Storm Coast and Emerald Graves. While in the Emerald Graves, they regrouped at a nearby camp and Jules took Cassandra, Sera and Cole to chateau d'onterre. Haha.. It was funny to see Sera hide behind Cassandra the whole time, "Cassandra! Seekers go first, right?" 

 

Returning to Skyhold, Bull tells the Inquisitor about a potential Qunari alliance with the Inquisition. Together with the Chargers, they venture to the Storm Coast again to meet up with Gatt. However, Julian had a change of heart in the alliance and ordered Bull to call back his team. Gatt furiously lashed out at both Bull and Julian, but Julian held his ground and sternly told him no deal. His choice was final. Although Bull didn't like having to sever ties with the Qunari, in the end, he was happy to have his Chargers back.

 

Edit: I forgot to mention I had Julian jump around on the roof of the tavern in Skyhold. He decided to drop in on Sera, but the gal tossed a jar of bees, wasps and hornets at him causing our panicked leader to fall off the roof. "That's for dragging me into that stupid haunted house with your girlfriend and creepy over there!" Sera yells from her window.

 

Next up: Lost in the desert nights and the eye of the storm lands in Emprise du Lion...

Well that was certainly interesting.  Went to the Hissing Wastes (   ) to poke around and start gathering tier 3 materials and stuff for the coming apocylypse...I mean mass crafting spell.  Getting camps established, unlocking two of the tombs so far, and sealing a few of the fade rifts.  All and all a pretty fun time.  And the Inquisitor's kissy kissy scene with Cullen was pretty cool.  

 

Had a lot of fun talking to my companions especially Solas in the realm of dealing with the aftermath of Wicked Eyes, my people!, oh you mean elves.  Right ahem.  Also Sera's opinion on Briala was rather...interesting.  

 

So I guess off to the emprise soon.
