Does anybody feel the game is much lonelier after you defeat Corypheus? The fact that you can't have any more love scenes with your LI (Cass! ), can't chat anymore with anyone (no roof chats with Sera!), etc., that all kinda bums me out considerably.

Me too. I had to manually install Witch Hunt, Golems, Leliana's Song, and Darkspawn Chronicles. Not so much because I wanted to play them, but because I needed the reward items in my game.
Same here xD Especially Darkspawn Chronicles. Blightblood is one of my favourite swords. Although I have never recieved items for Leliana's Song >.<
Starting a new playthrough siding with the templars for the first time ever, hoping it will be fun.
I like both templars and mages' stories, but to tell the truth I prefer templars. Maybe because I'm not fond of time-travel stories... or maybe because you get baby spirit earlier
Also greatest injustice - no Envy Codex entry for those who sided with mages. I hate that one empty slot >.<

I got all the items, id advise you to do the Leliana's song mission because it give a nice armour piece (leather) but i usually give it to Alistair as it makes him almost unstoppable at the beginning (requires 20 str to use)

On completely unrelated to sweet little Lavellan note, I just stumbled upon a line Cole might say regarding the Iron Bull:
Spoiler
"Copper on the lips. Dalish lies dead-eyed beside me. He'll come, he'll call, he won't leave us. Horns pointing up."
I will never, ever, ever be able to sacrifice the Chargers again.
Well, Ivy (my first IQ) did sacrifice the Chargers. Felt very sorry for them (and Bull) too, but for her the mission always came first. And the mission was to get Qunari support, so... Also, strategically, an alliance with Qunari was more important for her than one group of her soldiers. In her defense, she would just as readily sacrifice her own life for the cause. She's not evil or renegade, she's just very driven and capable of making hard decisions. Cullen (her LI) is MUCH softer than her, heh.
The problem is I did Leliana's Song. All achievments, all quests. But no items for main game >.>
i had to do it twice because i didn't get it the first time. if i remember correctly you have to get all 5 or 6 pieces of the armour maybe it just bugged and you didn't get it or you missed a piece no idea.
and on a sir not i can't sacrifice the chargers, don't know why but it feels wrong to me.
Let's be serious. It's not hard to be... well... harder... that Cullen.

I took them on today, reasoning that I'd rather get it over with sooner than later. Ramparts full of undead, rifts full of despair demons -- oh I have to admit it's fun to sneak-attack-and-one-stab-kill them, lots of exaggerated french accents exclaiming they are tired of waiting around to die.
Ugh.
Uppity Dalish elves complaining that a civil war broke out and disrupted their migratory patterns, and who wouldn't even take my coin until I solved all their problems. Just why am I trying so hard to curry their favour?
Ugh. Just kidding, I love the dalish really I do.
Completely unintentionally amassing 58 snofleur skins while wandering around collecting last letters from dead soldiers.
Swearing at my screen in frustration at not being able to climb up on a rock that only reaches Kubrie's waist level when standing next to it and threatening to toss Varric off a tall building because he just wouldn't get out of my way while I was attempting said rock-climbing. Sent him back to Skyhold for that instead, and invited Cassie to join us. We had another rogue on her hit-list out here somewhere to deal with anyway.
Of course, Bull immediately started flirting with her.
Anyway, we are now nearly done with the Exalted Plains (yay!), at least until we get out to the Emerald Graves and find three great bear hides for the elves, and Viv will want a snow wyvern heart sometime. But other than that all that is left is one last castle full of undead and guarded by out-of-control magic defenses.
Yep, that's it. We even took on a dragon, since we were out in the swamp collecting gurgut skins and Bull was already soaked from his ankle to his.... other ankle anyway.
The Gamordan Stormrider is usually one of my tougher fights with all the electricity and poison swamp around, but this time? Not so much. Kubrie may be my best dragon-slayer yet. Or maybe it's just that respeccing Bull as a sword-n-shield guy and not putting any points into his berserker specialty has made him a whole lot less squishy. All I know is, these dragons are dying fast... so far.
Spoiler
Started off trying to flank her, but she picked up on it. Stabbed her anyway.
And so she was all, "What. The. F***?" and that's when Bull arrived. And got stomped flat.
And then she was all, "Okay, you saw a dragon. Big deal, right? You can just go away now."
"No really, I mean it. Go. Away. *chomp*"
Just as she is about to leap away, caught her a good one on the ... uhh... well, the ankles.
She wasn't too happy about that and decided to electrocute everyone. Sidenote: Hate when the game decides to randomly switch my controlled character during combat. Oh well, at least Kubrie didn't die or anything.
The electrocution plan didnt' work, and Stormy called a timeout. Unfortunately, when you're fighting dragons timeouts really are a thing.
Oh, hai! You still here?
And ready to finish this... uhh, turn around, Dorian.
Seriously, guys. Turn around!
Love it when that Twin-Fang backstab works. Twice.
No really. GO. AWAY.
Nah.
Taarsidath-an Halsaam
It was a good fight. No one died, and only used one health potion. Used two before the fight began at the entrance of the Dead hand dungeon, trying to jump down onto that platform with the loot and missing. And Dorian needed one after fighting a half-dozen gurguts just before this.
Finally want to add a big thanks for all the great screenies from everyone lately. So cool to see such awesome scenes. I'm still getting caught up on the likes, and I think I'm forever gonna be about 14 or 15 pages behind until they up our quotas. *has faith it'll happen*

My sentiments exactly. Nukem's only got him left, and she might want to wander around a bit, so I started a new Inq instead. Yep, I agree. Calpernia is a more interesting character and the whole Shrine of Dumat scene is much better when you side with the templars as well, in my opinion. As far as RP-ing the choice, I still think the templars are better. When i played Origins and DA2, i sided with the mages at every chance, but in Inquisition when it was revealed they turned to the Imperium to save their butts, I thought they went completely off the rails and wanted nothing to do with them. having said that, there is a lot about the "in Hushed Whispers" storyline that I do like. It's got its good points too.

Kubrie and her interchangeable gang have been wandering the Emerald Graves most of the day. Finding shards, closing rifts, trying REALLY HARD not to kill any nugs, figuring out astrariums, and dealing with the Freemen of the Dales again. Have just gotten to the point where Fairbanks and his refugees have moved to a more spacious and secure home. Because Sera has been with us for most of the day, I decided to let Fairbanks make his own mind up on what to do about his parentage. Dunno if that means he doesn't become an agent of the Inquisition or not, but it's alright. Sera has taken to fawning over Kubrie lately, and I think if she hadn't gotten together with the Bull, there might've been something between her and the elf, so why not make the elf happy today, right?
Everyone who has played the Graves before knows the the area we travel in is split, kinda in half, by a big river, and today the group did almost everything on that they could on the south side. On the north side of the river, they went as far as investigating the Chateau D'Onterre. I was going to bring to Varric along instead of Sera this but I forgot to swap them out... so that nice thing we did earlier for Sera was counterbalanced by scaring the s***e out of her a little later on. Oops. mental note: Do not bring her to Adamant Fortress again .
So, it was time to head back to Skyhold for a bit and deal with some war table operations -- one in particular to setup up Samson's Lieutenant, Carroll, for a meeting so we can kick his ass. Surprising that neither Leliana nor Morrigan remember that slimy little... uhh, anyway, we made a detour to the Black Emporium first and Kubrie went on a bit of a shopping spree for new dagger and armor schematics and materials. Tier 3 stuff all the way. Only problem was... no FT-Silverite, or FT-Plush Fustian Velvet, for that guard and those hidden blades.
Off to the Emprise du Lion they went, and spent a good part of the next couple of hours closing rifts and killing red templars. Took awhile, but managed to get those good crafting materials. Thought I'd gotten two FT-Plushes, but no one told me there are two different kinds Ah well. Turns out I still had some FT-Ring Velvet, so one new dagger has five hidden blades, and the other only four. That's alright... unless someone tells me they don't stack.
Anyway, we're back at Skyhold, where crafting armor and weapons is thirsty work. Err, that is, telling Dagna and Harrit what she wants is... umm.. thirsty work. nevermind. *cough* Kubrie decided to go to the Herald's Rest to wait out the war table missions, and this happened...
Kubrie and the Bull, romance scene 3. Probably NSFW (but not as unsafe as it could be)
Spoiler
The conversation starts as always with Bull saying, "Hey, boss. What can I do for you?" Picking the romance option causes the scene to fade out. There are variations to Kubrie's responses in the conversation here, but until the end of the scene, the differences are minor. I chose the options that gave the most lines from both. When it fades in again, we get to see Kubrie showing a bit of leg.
Bull: *breathing hard* Damn! That was... Mmmm... That was good, Kadan.
Kubrie: Whooo. I needed that.
Bull: Mmmm, my pleasure. Well... maybe some of it's yours. All this time and you've never said, 'Katoh'. If I'd known you'd last this long, I'd have let you pick your own watchword.
Kubrie: People choose their own watchwords?
Bull: Normally, yes. It can be anything, so long as it's something you'd never shout by accident. Josephine might pick, 'Madrigal', while Cullen would go with, 'phylactery'. As for Cassandra, it'd probably be something soft, like, 'silk' or 'satin'.
Kubrie: What about Varric? Wait, don't tell me. 'Bianca'.
Bull: Hah. No, it would have to be something he wouldn't shout during sex. Sidenote: Bazinga. Maybe 'Paragon' or 'Thaig'.
Kubrie: Here's a tough one. Cole.
Bull: You know, he stumped me. I actually asked him. He thought really hard about it, then finally said his watchword was, 'stop'. I don't think he got it. Probably for the best, honestly.
Kubrie: How about... Blackwall.
Bull: Hmmm. 'Petit homme'. Get deep enough under that armor, there's a man who lived the good life once.
Kubrie: What about Vivienne?
Bull: Hmm. Tough one. I'm going with 'periwinkle'. She looks like a 'periwinkle' kind of lady.
Kubrie: What about Sera?
Bull: Well it wouldn't be 's***e' or you'd never even get started. Honestly though, Sera's not the kind who'd let you tie her down.
Sidenote: Interesting that none of Dorian, Solas nor Leliana were mentioned. Leliana I could kinda understand; she was probably listening in on the whole conversation but why not Solas or Dorian?
Kubrie: If you want to make me use that watchword, you'll have to try harder.
Bull: Mm... good to know. I'm a better man for having met you, Kadan. I just hope this made things a little easier on your end.
Sidenote: Here there are noticeable differences to the end of the scene, both in what each says, and in how they each react. I chose the middle dialogue options to present here, becsuse Kubrie finally gets to be a little bit playful. However, with the top choice Bull finally shows some vulnerability, and I think this would be a good choice if the Chargers were sacrificed. With the bottom dialogue choice, their tones suggested Bull was merely humouring Kubrie, as though slightly condescending. Didn't care for that one..
Kubrie: I just wish we'd had time for the wedding before Corypheus showed up.
Bull: I... What?
Kubrie: I'd assumed we were getting married.
Bull: Ehh. Ummm. Err. Phew.
Kubrie: *bursts out laughing* The look on your face!
Bull: Ohh. You are evil.
*lowers her to the bed*
Spoiler
Top dialogue choice:
Bull: I'm a better man for having met you, Kadan. I just hope this made things a little easier on your end.
Kubrie: You did. And no matter what happens... if we don't make it out of this-
Bull: Katoh! Stop. *sighs* I can't. We're coming out of this alive. Together.
*lowers her to the bed*
Bottom dialogue choice:
Bull: I'm a better man for having met you, Kadan. I just hope this made things a little easier on your end.
Kubrie: Not this. You made things easier on my end. I love you.
Bull: Heh, heh, heh. You going soft on me, Kadan?
Kubrie: *looks serious and slightly hurt for a moment*
Bull: I love you, too.
*lowers her to the bed*
And so now Kubrie is in a much better mood after having to spend entirely too long in the Emprise farming those FT-materials. it's time to head back out to the Emerald Graves and take on some giants (and probably brontos), an old elven temple, and possibly a dragon.
EDIT: Forgot to add Bull's new Tarot Card. Pretty cool, and much better than the previous one.

Does anybody feel the game is much lonelier after you defeat Corypheus?
I have actually not done the last battle yet for that very reason. I've been trying to avoid spoilers, but know more than I want to about Solas, etc. I just found, leading up to Doom that the world seemed like a lonely place, with nothing left to be said. So I started some new characters to experiment with importing different world states and choosing different paths and romances for my Inquisitor. Still having trouble going against my basic nature though.
Does anybody feel the game is much lonelier after you defeat Corypheus?
It does. That's why I did the Frostback Basin first before going back to finish the main story.

I agree Calpernia is a more interesting character and I also prefer the Templars in many ways. Especially if they help the Inquisition's growing reputation. Leliana says, "Having the Templars on our side has done great wonders. The people trust the Templars and now they trust us." Also, if I'm playing as Inquisitor Trevelyan, he/she has family in the order and chantry. It makes the quest more personal.
I've played "In Hushed Whispers" too and there are some good story moments in that quest.

Last part on sweet little Lavellan's Winter Palace adventures.
I loved Solas' romance scene there (dancing) - and not just on its own merits, though yes, it was nice, but more in comparison to his previous one (the kiss at Skyhold balcony). I'm talking about the striking change in his body language - those who romanced him must've noticed it, yes? He seems so much more at ease with Lavellan now. At Skyhold it looked like he was afraid to touch her, or hold her for a moment longer, but now he seems perfectly fine with it.

I have been wanting to do something like this for a while now but couldn't be bovered...WELL NOW I AM BOVERED.
An Excerpt of a conversation between The Inquisitor Lady Trevelyan of Ostwick and Seeker Cassandra Pentaghast, Second in Command of the Inquisition, right hand of the Divine, her of Orlais...etc. etc. Ad naseum
*Cassandra bursts in with a slamming door*
Cassandra: You can't be serious!
Kara Trevelyan: Cassandra what on Earth are you talking about?
Cass: You named your bow Dumant's Wrath?! After the Old God? The Tevinter Banners hanging around Skyhold was one thing...but this goes too far Inquistor.
KT: Let me tell you something Cassandra, what do you think will happen when the Red Templars start dying, when the Venatori are Destroyed, when his Dragon is waved aside, and when I drive an arrow through his eye at a hundred paces...all with a Bow named after the God he used to worship? In the hands of the Inquisition his most hated enemy?
Cass: Oh.
KT: Exactly. Corypheus has made an replica to his God, now I mock it. Dumat's Wrath will be known.
*end transcript*
So today's episode of DA I should be known as: A funny thing happened on the way to the Glowing Key, and other related quests.
After all, thanks to the advice from here...I went to go do that quest and get the Mighty Offensive Tonic. And well it was pretty easy. Just...kept running into obstacles. Like, ran into a group of Red Templars, leaping Shot OFF a mountain and then I decided it was so fun that I ran up and LEAPING SHOT off the mountain again. So far in fact that I would have had to crawl back through the cave I just crawled out of five seconds ago. So I fast traveled instead to another part of the map...the one that I found the place in the first place...and walla.
And boy is the MOT OPed as all frak. Went Dragon hunting with the thing, upgraded nearly all of its stuff, save but one (running out of Elfroot ), and then went Dragon Hunting with it...Wow. Was doing so much damage especially to the thing's guard then Mark of Death and Mark of the Rift and then Haste also helped. Though as much as may character may feel on the subject IDK, it still tugs at the heart strings when I take out one of its legs and its limping around. I almost couldn't do it...but I prevailed...for the RP. *sigh*. Oh and it was the same Dragon that made me give up Dragon Hunting in the first game ironically enough. But it was funny, here I was feeling sorry for the thing...expecting the fight to be over in like one Long Shot...and then it nearly wipes out my whole party. Killed Dorian and Varric...teach me to feel sorry for it.
So with all that in mind went to finally start my Tier 3 Crafting. Kara now has new armor (can't wait to do picks) and her new bow, the aforementioned Dumat's wrath. And not to go too much into stats or anything...but wow...they are amazing. My favorite is the 124% Critical Damage Bonus. Essence of Perfection on the Bow (not sure how that works) and Hidden Blades on the Armor. And then the Fire Rune of Master, 173 Damage in total. Damn. Then a new Sword for Cass (Silveright...I think that is what I gave it) and new armor for Cass (not sure what I put on it....hmmm.) But yeah maybe it had the Silver Right....lawl. Then a Demon Rune. And man am I going through all that metal like Crazy. . Should only have to worry about giving Bull armor...since he now has a pretty good non crafted weapon...and then getting Blackwall all equipped...and well I guess we will see if I have enough materials.

I want to look at the pictures, but Solas is meant to be the LI for my next PT, so I don't want to get spoiled. *the struggle*

Finished playing all the Origins in DAO, and now I'm back to DAI! Also I think the Dalish Origin doesn't get the attention it deserves. I know many love the City Elf, but the Dalish one seemed to fit really well with the story in a way I didn't expect. I really recommend that one for people!
