I have to agree, since Bull and Kubrie are in a romance in this game, that he does indeed like to be stomped kicked and chomped and ... I've said too much.I think Bull likes to be stomped, kicked, chomped... and so on, as long as it's a dragon *looks at her dragon fights pictures* Oh, Bull...
I can't wait to read commentary from your next dragon fight!
What Did You Do Today (in the DA 'verse) ? .... oops ;)

Finished my speedrun.
10 hours 29 minutes. done on a ps3
I finished at level 15.
I think I will take a rest before attempting anymore playthroughs of DAI
Was that on Nightmare and no glitching? That's an excellent run, if so.

I finally, finally, finally had time to play some DAI! Last Dragon Hunter's Challenge update was for Hivernal, #7. This one is for my favorite high dragon battle of them all, the Sandy Howler, #8!
It's got a great setting, the Tomb of Fairel. It's got dragonling waves. It's got awesome loot. It's got a dragon that stays on the ground instead of wasting time flying around. And it's got a whole lot of this:

Almost made it to the end with no casualties, but Cass got double-whammied by a dragonling and the Howler's hurricane right towards the end.
I was relieved that the XP earned didn't level up my Hunter, she is still level 16. So that might result in a level 18 finish instead of a level 19. I think I can finish off the remaining two in EdL without earning any extraneous XP. Just have to sneak around all the Red Templar guards and such.

I got my pictures from 130 to 65ish roughly. I opened a imgur account which i'll use for DAO because I am going to add text n stuff to them. I have hit DAI some more and kind of sort of got IN HUSHED WHISPERS started (met Alexius at the tavern) but will not complete it because I was still planning on having Ullia Mint tooth go to CHAMPIONS OF THE JUST like what i did for Azul Hwallo. As far as Azul Hwallo went i had her roughly early on in Skyhold but didn't do the Warden story or WICKED MINDS, WICKED HEARTS.
That"s true, it is the thought that counts, but I'll get caught up on things eventually, and in the meantime I'll just live in hope that Bio will do away with
timers on questsquota limits.
I hope so too. I find the real time aspect innovative for the WAR TABLE missions but man for story reasons do I really need to wait 12:30:30? Cheese n nuggets.
Thanks. I was playing on normal with Julian.
Ah. Still way cool. Normal is still a pain in the butt to do I feel. Sure unlike NIGHTMARE potions are not 100% important but you still got to know what you need to do smartly. I had crazy issues playing a mage and 2H warrior on Normal.
What do you guys believe is the best choice in the war table mission "The Good Works of Ser Ruth"?
I've checked the wiki but none of them really feels right.
Personally i feel "forgiving her in the eyes of Andraste" seems to be the better way to go because I think I got a couple useful things out of her. However sensical seems to be sending her to the deep roads armed because that has always been tradition of a warden who has either did something bad or is 10% away from becoming a dark spawn.
Ah, yeah, probably.
I agree that you have to play "smart" in Threatening and Perilous. I went there with my Lvl 20 Virtuoso and didn't survive a single run. In the run I lived the longest, it was only because I kept spamming Barrier like an idiot. Didn't even have the time to use Battle of the Bands (increases attack speed) or Sing-Along (gives HoK for the party). And the team I went with was good and didn't rush. We cleared everything before we proceeded to another zone. (but Inferno dragons are not easy enemies...)
I did. The Dalish Origin is my first and till now only finished DAO PT (I didn't want to wait any longer to play DA2 and DAI
) As far as I know, Xenon made a deal with a witch, who gave him immortality, but he forgot to ask for eternal youth, which is why he looks how he looks.
Oh! and I just noticed something.
Xenon's Eluvian has Red Lyrium growing out of it. So wouldn't that mean, we recover Merrill's Eluvian? (her Eluvian is corrupted, but doesn't have Red Lyrium)

Edit: Bruce is still in the Emerald Graves. He talked to Fairbanks about the Freemen and told him that they're dead. Then Clara told Bruce, that Fairbanks may be of noble birth, so went to investigate that. He did found stuff supporting her claims, but he gave the evidence to Fairbanks, because he doesn't want Fairbanks to have to deal with all that Orlaisan mask stuff.
After that he went on bear hunt.
And when the forest was safe again, he went to Chateau D'Onterre, togetter with Sera, Cassandra and Cole. They're still inside, looking for clues of what happened in the villa.
Good job on at least being the last man standing before the fail. That happens to me way to often which makes me angry. I rather die epicly as part of the group then being the guy doing every bloody thing. However at times I admit I tend to be picked off first because of my arch type and or level. At times I am just left head scratching because I am running a level 17 archer and getting pwned by level 7's on level 3 difficulty? I guess I should blame my armor?

I started to loose it at 'say "Sandal"', but that ice ball that burns finished the job xD
I remember in my Aine playthrough I took Sera with me for those dragon fights. I don't remember, was it Hivernal or Kaltenzahn... Nevermind. What's improtant is, she used Flask of Lightning... and got stuck in a ground for the whole fight. It was one of 'wtf' situations for sure.

... i dunno what was going on with that iceball, heh.
Sera got stuck in the ground?
Oh bummer. I didn't notice whether she used Flask of Lightning in this fight or not, but I guess she must have. I think I just got lucky to catch her using Flask of Fire in that one shot. I always keep control of my own character in combat and just let the others do their own thing, and since I'm a melee character I never notice what the ranged guys are doing most of the time. In my first game, with my Knight-Enchanter, I was able to watch Sera's antics a lot more, but back then I wan't taking screenies. Oh well.

Maybe Kaltenzahn can't decide if she's a fire or ice dragon xD Or! *looks closely at screenshots* Maybe that was fireball from dragonling? I don't remember them changing attacks, no matter the mother.
Yeah, when I tried to take control over her, I was greeted with falling animation. To tell the truth after third try of unstucking her it became quite funny. Fortunately it was one time incident. She could use Flask of Lightning normally before and after that.

I may of spent a little more time than I wanted crafting or I should say the limited amount of crafting I was able to do otherwise I might've finished under 10 hours.
If someone were to do a speedrun, I would suggest having Sera in your party. Putting her in stealth mode helps a lot. I was able to run by a lot of enemies that would've killed me very easily. I used her to take down the Frostback. Even with a level 7 bow, she was doing a lot of damage.
Another suggestion is play as a mage and have Solas with you. Get the dispel power makes dealing with rifts a lot easier. I even was able to defeat the dragon in Crestwood by dispelling her electric circles of zap.
If you were able to have good armor and weapons, it wouldn't matter what level you're at. Those two things make a big difference
The only areas I visited were the Hinterlands, Val Royeaux, Crestwood and The Western Approach.
If I was to of played on Nightmare, I don't know how much of a difference it would make about the time it took to beat the game.

Oh, I defintely wasn't "the last man standing". Far from it! Here a quote from myself from the Your Last DAMP PUG Thread.
---
After the fight with Stormy, Bruce decided to go back to the Emerald Graves, to confront Carroll. Sadly he had to fight him twice, because the team didn't survive the first try. =/
First fight.
Second try. It was actually pretty fun, to deal with two Shadows at the same time. Freeze one, shock the other, use Stonefist on the frozen one, set them on fire, repeat. xD
After that Bruce and Co. went to close a Rift near the river.

And I think I need to make another post, because I took too many screenshots for one. ![]()

Aidan had been wandering the Exalted Plains, sorting out the mess for Celene and Gaspard's troops before he heads to Halamshiral. I noticed that he'd saved enough money to buy the Superior Prowler Mail schematic from the Black Emporium, which is my favourite for Sera. Despite not having been to either Emprise du Lion or the Hissing Wastes, he had gathered enough Snoufleur skin from the Exalted Plains to make armour for himself and Sera with tier 3 leather. I'm not sure I like the look of the schematic on the inquisitor, but I'm happy to have Sera in my favourite armour for her. I hope I get schematic drops for the matching arms and legs...
It's a bit ridiculous that Sera and Aidan now have a way higher armour rating than any of the warriors. I'll have to save up for one of the requisite schematics for them next.

Archer. Mostly because she is away from the enemy while dealing damage. Leaping shot gives a lot of damage especially when using poison weapons.

To be honest, during that whole fight against Kaltenzahn I didn't even notice the dragonlings, and those two screenies were so random, I had to post them.

I'm impressed Mike, that's pretty cool. i guess in 13 previous PTs you've heard all the dialogue and seen all the scenes, so running through everything is no big deal anyway. I've found myself, even in my fourth game, skipping through some of the dialogue and running past/around some of the random spawning bad guys because I just don't want to take the time to detour and kill them, heh.
