Fenris was my first DA2 romance and he's the one I keep going back to. I've done all the rest once but he's by far my favorite. The make up scene and the one in the Gallows at the end game make it totally worth it. :D  Plus, Gideon Emery's voice.

Yep, I totally get it. :D I've done all the romances (except Sebastian), and that's exactly how I feel about Merrill and Eve Myles' voice.

Woo! Congrats on another finish, and on finding all the mosaic pieces! Whatcha gonna do next, and who is the lucky romance going to be?

Well, I had a few ideas

First I was gonna do a magequisition/Solas romance ...but I've already played a female elf mage once.

Then I was gonna do a Lavellan 1H warrior/Dorian romance ... I'm not because a) except for the odd story- or combat-related reasons, Dorian went everywhere with the group, and b ) Kubrie was as non-romantically friendly -- flirty where possible -- as could be with him too. Much as I like his character, I need a Dorian break.

Finally I decided that I would try a magequisition after all, but not romancing Solas. I'm going to go with a female Trevalyan (ultimately Rift Mage) and romance Josephine. I guess I'm not gonna get much of a Dorian break either, but whenever I need a wall bashed or a lock picked, he can be the first to sit out.

So now after spending a good long while in the DA keep creating a world state for my new Trevalyan, I've since been in the CC for awhile, trying to come up with a face for her that makes me happy. Not easy.

Malia tries to ignore her troubles by helping Aveline with hers, but the latter just can't help but twist the knife as well.
"Gee, thanks, I was trying not to think about him, Aveline."

Yeah, I don't recall Aveline being known for her subtlety.

Dragon Hunter's Challenge: How Low Can You Go -- SECOND RUN COMPLETED!

The Ravager was much easier than Kaltenzahn, no idea why. I finished at Level 18 + 17519 XP. I got an unexpected gigantic XP bonus at the end, maybe for finishing the collection? It was almost 12k XP. So a higher finish than I had predicted, but still lower than the Level 19 + 6868 XP of my first run.

Here's a nice screenie of Hunter and Sera facing down the final dragon.

207synn.png

It's pretty amazing that you can beat the game/main quest and come out with a much lower experience level than it takes to defeat all 10 dragons.

With that out of the way, I can finally take a run at the JoH DLC.

Congrats! That's a cool challenge to set for yourself. That's a little bit less than seven levels below my last inquisitor -- Kubrie finished at level 25 +  3000 XP (approx.) I can't look up the exact total because I'm in the CC for my new inquisitor at the moment. In four complete games now, I've always found Kaltenzahn to be one of the tougher dragons to fight.

Didn't get much done today....spent too much time reading and posting here. :P But, I just have to say I was way too excited to find another elfroot hub and the recipe for Mythal's Favor grenades on the Wounded Coast.

I hit the level cap with Tressa during Jaws of Hakkon. Aidan is getting close to level 21 and he hasn't done Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts or been to Emprise du Lion or the Hissing Wastes, let alone the Frostback Basin...

The only Templar armor I want to give Cass, is Armor of the Knights-Divine xD (I'm sooo gonna tint it in Nevarrite, just because Cass is from Nevarra  )

Armor_of_the_Knights-Divine.jpg

Oh, definitely, he looks so awesome in pink  :D (I'm so annoyed I found a better armor for Dorian, he looked so cool in In War, Victory, but the stats were against it  :?)

I got it in DA2 templars' colors xD It's worth it xD

Holey schnikeys! Do you have anyone using dispel/spell purge at all? Those abilities are a must for me for the high level rifts. Sometimes they work too well and all the second spawn is dispelled and then I just have to close the rift. B)

This isn't a very good picture, but you can at least see it on her. She's also got a matching shield. :) No idea how I got the armor in that run but never found it in my last PT. Of course, that was the one where I was playing a Templar. <_<

Spoiler

I don't have dispel. Except for rifts I would rarely use it, which means one skill slot would be wasted. I prefer to spam PotA  :P

There are two places where you can get templar-looking armor that I know of - at the end of On the Chantry Trail and after killing Sandy Howler. There's also schematic sold by Hissing Wastes merchant.

@SporkFu

*tries to not split her coffee* OMG xD

Welcome to the club "We take wrong mages for dragon fights". You cannot leave o 3o

Eh, it's sad to see the end. I can only hope that you'll play JoH with her.

Edit: I'm out of likes o.O

Edit #2: I have my likes back!

I always spec my mages with dispel. It's so useful for high level rifts. Also I take Cass along most of the time so I usually make short work of the second wave of demons. Once or twice I've managed to eliminate it completely! :D

Did I ever mention how I came up with Aidan's name, by the way? I tend to like to use old English names for my Inquisitors, and well... I attended the University of Durham for a while...

Wow! I love Valeska's Watch and that has got to be the best portrait of it ever. Well done!

Thank you  :) All I did, was using tac-cam and photoshop for a little cropping/editing (only made it sharper and a little brighter)

Tho beware the use of tac-cam, it can end creepy xD

Cool xD

Bruce finally claimed the Tower of Bone. He did mess up a little, because he first killed the Behemoth and then wondered, why he couldn't claim the Tower, two reloads later he finally got, that there were still Red Templars around.  So he went and killed them too and was finally able to claim the Tower.

Spoiler

Bruce then used the Ocularum, found some shards near the camp and claimed Judicael's Crossing. When he went back towards the camp, he noticed two red dots on the map. Enemies? In the camp? Yes.

Spoiler

Bruce then went on and found two other shards, a lost ring and fought some other Templars.

Spoiler

After that, Bruce brought the ring to the woman in Sahrnia and then went back to Skyhold, to talk to Dagna about the Fade. In his adventures through the Emprise, Bruce found some dead elves, which were searching for the Sulevin Blade, which raised his curiosity and he, Cassandra, Cole and Solas went to the Cradle of Sulevin.

Spoiler

Best idea I ever had, was zapping the ghoul that rised when Bruce lit the Veilfire in the basement, cause with that I got fighting while a cutscene happened. :D

Spoiler

Bruce and the others then went to the last altar and lit the Veilfire there, to spawn the last Revenant and his undead friends.

Spoiler

Bruce went to Dagna with the broken blade and she made him a new one. Now Bull has a new Sword.  :D

Oh, human baby Cole  :D

I was leaning more towards Solas' suggestion, but decided that I'd go for a more human Cole since this is the first time I've ever gone through this with Cole(first playthrough with Cole in the party, as well). It makes me cringe that Solas suggests forgiveness towards the Templar.

A few pics to share of Demetria's story progress.

Spoiler

By the way, Demetria is officially a Rift Mage. She can use her new fade super powers and call a meteor storm to punish her enemies. Cole and Solas are pleased with her specialization. Little does she know, she's using the same powers as an Elven god.  ;)

As for her relationships, she's still on good terms with the others in her inner circle. She surprisingly managed to develop a professional relationship with Dorian. They're working together after all. However during conversations, they tend to throw some rude and snarky remarks at each other.

Romance wise, Demetria's not dating anyone right now. But she's flirting with Sera, Iron Bull and Scout Harding. Cullen is subtly interested in her.

Started my DAO playthrough. Introducing Victoria Cousland - warrior/troublemaker/seducer

Spoiler

I hate when my father calls me pup. I like to pup him between the eyes. He introduces me to a Grey Warden. Not bad. Maybe later Mr.Warden. I get my dog. I kill a bunch of rats. Good. More cheese for me

Here's my mother. What a worrywart. She is the one that gave me my good looks. My father lucky to have someone like her. And who is this find looking elf? Iona. Mmm. Yes. Definitely later.

What? That dirbag killed her. Now its my turn. Oooo. Did that hurt? Ahh too bad. Payback is a b*t*h. He got an arrow to the kneecap. Holdup. Wrong game. He got an arrow to the cranium.

Here comes mom. She can defend herself easily enough. Ok. Howe is going to get a pow when I see him. Mom and I fight through the baddies. Even my trusty Canine helps.

Oh no. Father. Put that blood back in your body so we can get out of here. Now my mother will stay with him. I understand. I will get revenge mom and dad. Lets go Mr.Warden

me: Who are you?

king: Why, I'm the King of Fereldon.

me: Why should I care? If you want me to care, you take your forces to my home and chop Howe into little pieces

King: I can't. I want to stand pretty with the Grey Wardens while I kill darkspawn

me: While you're doing that, you're wife is with the milkman

king: What? How dare you?

me: Ahhhhh shutup. I'm going to relax for awhile.

So yeah, the Hissing Wastes.  Sealing rifts qne looking for Shards and Occularum and the Tombs and various beasts.

Question:  the wiki, and the game tells me that we get maps for each one of the tombs....yet they do not seem to lead to the next one...glitch or intentional? \

Very fun game still.  Having a blast. :)

You get maps, but they don't have quest markers. They only give general idea how the place where a tomb is looks like.

Just like the first one.

Spoiler

It shows a place and small hints how to get there. Fortunately you don't need to get a map to open a tomb.

Well, I can say it was worth it. I'm still not playing with others (I'll stay forever alone player xD). Somehow, without any promotions or other party members I still was able to finish my first operation xD

Pfff, seems like you had fun xD

Well, I was going to clear Emprise, at least to Suledin Keep.

I ended up creating new character. And the reason for that is...

I have two Wardens that I consider canon and alternate canon (or something like that, I don't know how to call it). Up till now only my canon Warden, human female mage, got her proper world state transferred into Inquisiton. Other playthroughs were on world states I created basing on what I wanted to see. Now, I finally created world state for my alternate Warden, dalish female rogue. It's all thanks to my new DA2 pt. I used my aggresive Hawke in that one.

So... Now having proper world state, I created new character... Actually I recreated the one that was waiting for me to play it. Now at least new Lavellan has nice world state.

I barely went through proloque and I have 180 screenshots (only from cutscenes).

I... think I don't want to know what Cassandra is thinking right there.

Spoiler

The Breach is so pretty.

Spoiler

That's the moment when my Lavellan started to have second thoughts.

Spoiler

*Defense mode activated*

Spoiler

Beginning of the Inquisition...

Spoiler

...and that moment is going to last for a while. I still have to finish Connie's playthrough. I really want to do it, especially since there are rumors of new DLC coming o 3o
