I wound up doing the Ball and Adamant in reverse order in my first play through and decided I liked it that way. There's just something about stabilizing Orlais before you push further into it that I like although I did do Exalted Plains with the fallout from the Civil War before the Ball this time.

I made some new gear for my gang. Sera is sporting a sweet number made of great bear hide and silverite (black and silver is sexy) while Cassandra is dressed in dragon leather and silverite with a silverite sword and shield (white and silver is sexy). She's very... shiny. :D She deserves the dragon stuff. She helped obtain it after all.

Vivienne is in purple and yellow. With a fruity Orlesian hat.

That's what I'm planning on doing this time.  Also, getting the less bombastic mission out of the way before going onto an epic siege seems better in a narrative sense.

Talk about a Bearful.

...I'll see myself out

Bear in mind what you've just done. You should be punished.

So today I realized that my Dalish Inquisitor doesn't have eyebrows, 20 hours in.  Ha, guess her vallaslin distracted me.  Oh well!

Also recruited the mages (damn the future is scary.  I kinda prefer the Templar quest), went to the Forbidden Oasis which I've never seen, killed a LOT of bears...

Lyell and co decided to rescue soldiers from the Avvar and dreary, wet surroundings. Wallowing in the mire once again. Dorian flat out refused to come until Ly told him the next time he could wear the feather boa. That made him happy. <3  Ly's most favourite bit - finding and collecting diseased tissue. (Bleuch! Bioware (shakes fist). And honestly, how many bogfishers can you fit in one shack?

Ly and co are currently trying to fight the Hand of Korth (except for that the game keeps crashing) once this fool is done and dusted they will venture forth to try and find this other fool, Widris, Witless, whatever. Found his journal, now they only need him.

Also, loot has begun appearing at Lyell's feet. Kill a thing over there and the loot appears at feet. Anyone else getting this? Never used to happen.

Happens to me all the time. I don't mind it, saves a lazy inquisitor from having to move ;)

killed a LOT of bears...

It begins...

It is good yes. However, why doesn't the diseased tissue, corpse hearts, animal entrails etc end up at my feet? That way I don't have to go scumming for it.  And I think someone told those bears . . . yes, you know what's coming don't you, don't you? right . . . there's a picnic :wizard: .

Actually I think it's better having Dorian at my feet.

Ditto on the loot appearing at my feet - it's happened for a while. Anyway, popped over to the Fallow Mire to get my zombie-killing on - beat a hasty retreat after I realized that maybe beacon #3 would be a little tough until I either level up or craft some more gear. Did some gardening at Skyhold for relaxation as well (it is a good deal more pleasant than dealing with corpses).

Sigh. Family for the holiday = no gaming til the weekend. I wanna turn things into pincushions to impress Cassie. Hope she waits. I think I'll steal Varric's writing materials in the meantime.

I decided to take Iron Bull out dragon hunting to all the dragons I could find in Thedas since he seems to love it so much.  And just as I was about finish luring the Abyssal High Dragon of the Western Approach, he turned to my Inquisitor and said, "Boss, I just want you to know: you're the best."  I then smiled and laughed :D

More of Nang Fa Trevellyan:

Spoiler

She's been putting on the moves on most girls so far. Josephine doesn't seem to take it seriously, Casssandra is a big question mark (does she like it? I think she does...but does she?) and Vivienne just laughed in her face.

But isn't she pretty? ;)

I respecced again and went for dual daggers. I only have one tier 3 grip for them, the ornate one. So I have a pair of bejeweled daggers, one with a golden blade (volcanic aurum) and the other silver (silverite). They look pretty slick. I put a master corrupting rune on each so they have that sickly red aura around them.

I also used the wonderful properties of silverite to make warrior armor for my rogue. It looks pretty much the same but there is a considerable boost in armor rating. So I'm still clad in black and silver but I have a flashy pair of daggers on my back.

Dual daggers is more fun at higher levels. More stuff to do.

I am currently traipsing places with my human male (mage) alter ego. It's still fun, I guess, but strangely I find it harder to connect to him than I did to my f.mage Lavellan. Hmm. Romancing Dorian. He's a dear, but I liked Cullen romance better  Oh well. Apparently I am a sucker for fluff and sugar

On a brighter note, today I crept around a sleeping high dragon in Emprise du Lion to collect that sweet silverite ore growing all around her. She was lvl 23. I was lvl 14. It was thrilling!

I wonder if Dorian kicked my arse later for being a reckless idiot :D

I accidentaly killed Lord Woolsley. My companions slaughtered him because I wasn't able to stop them in time, my Lord Inky panicked and was all like 'stop killing poor defenseless animals you heartless barbarians, that is a quest I'll have to reload' and then that dang fleabag became a rage demon. That was just wow, didn't see that coming at all. Inky and me feel so silly for not noticing. I mean a ram that offers advice and perfectly understands what I tell it... yeah.

No approval loss from my party (the initial three). The quest just ended there and then, sadly I couldn't inform the owner about this terrible loss. Would've been sweet.

To the  posters of this thread, I just want to say I forgot to post about my new playthrough yesterday. My mind was on football being Sunday and all plus my teams won. Excellent. To show your dissapointment just like this post. The more likes, the better the chance it won't happen again. Hahahaha

Ok. I started my 5th playthrough Saturday. Lets begin.

Now I know why I'm here and trapped in this body, the body of a mortal. Let's give myself a moment to figure out what happened. One moment I was in my world ruling over the world I live in, the next I ended up this body. She is not dead. I just took it over. Ok. The body I control is that of one Elizabeth Nancy Trevelyan. She is a mage. A very good mage and very intelligent. That's good. What is odd is she hates mages and likes the templars. Don't know who they are. Oh ok. Now I do. Still trying to understand her memories. Coming from my world into this one, has drained my power. Leaving this body and world is out of the question for now. My Lord and Master will be wondering what happened to me.

I'm looking at this mortal woman with a scar on her face tell me what happened. This Cassandra mortal tells me we need to head to this breach to figure out how to close it. Now I figured it out. Ok. The mark on this mortals hand is the key.

I fight some demons. These are just minions from my world. I use them as slaves to do my bidding, but somehow in this world they are different. I need to find the one responsible for this. My Lord and I make an effort not to interfere with this world, but someone wanted to change that. For now, I will try not to reveal myself and just follow what the other mortals do.

I meet up with a short looking mortal, known as a Dwarf and named Varric. I can read his thoughs. He's a storyteller who likes to exaggerate to bring in more customers. I also feel his pain of losing someone close to him years ago. I like his crossbow. The other mortal is skinny with pointy ears. Do all mortals come in all shapes and sizes? His name is Solas and he's an Elf. I can tell he senses something different about me. Be careful Solas. You have no idea who you would be messing with, bedides you have a secret of your own.

As I close these breaches and kill the demons, my power grows. Excellent. It will take time for me to get back to full strength to leave this body and world.

We finally make it to the breach. A demon pops out. Wait a minute. That is one of the demons I command in my world. Now I have to kill it. Yes I will find who did this and make them suffer.

I wake up. These mortals sure are squishy and all. They need rest every time they do something. I walk around Haven fro a bit to see whats happening. This is what mortals use to make armor and weapons. Ha. The weapons crafted in my world are made from fire. I need to remember to act like a mortal ubtil I can get my power back.

I meet Cassandra. She introduces me to Leliana. The 2 of them start the Inquisition. I meet Cullen and Josephine, both advisors along with Leliana. Wow. Cullen has seen his fair share demons in Fereldon and Kirkwall. Leliana is Hero Of Fereldon's lover. She smiles because her thoughts at the moment are with her lover.

Fortunately she and all mortals can't read my mind otherwise their heads would explode.

They all mention we need to build up power and influence for the Inquisition. This may take longer then I hoped for.

We head to the Hinterlands to help there. It doesn't take long to build up my power and to help the mortals of the are. Maybe I should call them people instead of saying  mortals all the time.

Now were at Val Royeaux. Whats with people wearing masks and women wearing big clothes? Got it. A city full of stuck up morons. You fools would be my slaves in my world. The Templar Lord Seeker seems unimpressed with me and the Inquisition. Do anybody else know he's being controlled by a demon? In fact I know that demon. Yeah. Nothing to worry about.

I go to Redcliffe to get help from the mages. It will take a lot of magic to close it. Why is this magister in charge of the mages? What the heck? Now I'm in a different location with some mage named Dorian. I give him the once over. Not bad. I'm not his type anyways. I could use that against him. Later. I find the other and learned that we went forward in time. The breach has been completely opened. Lelaina looks terrible. Her heart is broken. She hasn't seen her lover in a very long time. That's devotion.

Now to deal with the magister. Back in realtime, I have him taken away. This is a Queen. She is called Queen Anora. She's not happy about what happened. I conscript the mages to help the Inquisition. The Queen accepts this. She too is also thinking of someone close to her that died a long time ago.

Back at Haven we talk about closing the breach, when Dorian shows up.

me: What do you want?

Dorian: I want to help of course if you let me?

me: On one condition. You and I get married

Dorian: WHAT?

me: We would have beautiful children. You're a good looking guy and I am a very beautiful woman

Dorian: I...I...I'm flattered and all, but you're not my...type.

me: You want to help, you marry me

Dorian: I can't..do.....that. I just can't. I will show myself out.

Cassandra: Would you of married him if accept your deal?

me: No. I knew he would never of accepted it.

Cullen: Lets get back to talking about closing the breach

While we wait to gather everyone to close the breach, I decide to craft a new staff and armor for myself.

Snuck around the dragon without stealth. Impressive.:) I'm gonna have to try that with my rogue sometime. Still have to kill one to get the achievement, and I may end up hunting them anyway, but sneaking sounds very... Bilbo-ish. Challenge accepted ;)

That's kinda awesome. Knew there was something more to Lord Woolsey. He was a long way from home when I found him. All I'll say is thank the Maker we don't have to escort him the whole way. Too bad his owner had nothing to say about it afterwards.

You can do the same with the dragon in the Hissing Wastes. I did it when I was doing the Tomb of Fairel quest. The tombs have some nice stuff.
