@SporkFu
*tries to not split her coffee* OMG xD
Welcome to the club "We take wrong mages for dragon fights". You cannot leave o 3o
Eh, it's sad to see the end. I can only hope that you'll play JoH with her.

Oh I'm a charter member of that club
Yeah I'm not going to abandon Kubrie. From less than stellar beginnings she has become a favourite of mine. Just gonna take a break from her and start a new game. :)

Well, I can say it was worth it. I'm still not playing with others (I'll stay forever alone player xD). Somehow, without any promotions or other party members I still was able to finish my first operation xD

I tried it a couple times and couldn't solo a MP operation. I'm too dependent on other party members having some of idea of what they're doing

I... think I don't want to know what Cassandra is thinking right there.

Spoiler

She's thinking, "Don't get too comfortable, Templar. We can still send you back to Kirkwall."

...and that moment is going to last for a while. I still have to finish Connie's playthrough. I really want to do it, especially since there are rumors of new DLC coming o 3o

New DLC? Yay!

I was leaning more towards Solas' suggestion, but decided that I'd go for a more human Cole since this is the first time I've ever gone through this with Cole(first playthrough with Cole in the party, as well). It makes me cringe that Solas suggests forgiveness towards the Templar.

I really like human Cole. I have yet to try spirit path... I'll do it. I'll brace myself and do it o 3o

Sending Cole down the spirit is pretty cool too, but I dunno path I like better. They're both done well and worth checking out. Tha helps a lot, I know

Started my DAO playthrough. Introducing Victoria Cousland - warrior/troublemaker/seducer

Spoiler

I hate when my father calls me pup. I like to pup him between the eyes. He introduces me to a Grey Warden. Not bad. Maybe later Mr.Warden. I get my dog. I kill a bunch of rats. Good. More cheese for me

Here's my mother. What a worrywart. She is the one that gave me my good looks. My father lucky to have someone like her. And who is this find looking elf? Iona. Mmm. Yes. Definitely later.

What? That dirbag killed her. Now its my turn. Oooo. Did that hurt? Ahh too bad. Payback is a b*t*h. He got an arrow to the kneecap. Holdup. Wrong game. He got an arrow to the cranium.

Here comes mom. She can defend herself easily enough. Ok. Howe is going to get a pow when I see him. Mom and I fight through the baddies. Even my trusty Canine helps.

Oh no. Father. Put that blood back in your body so we can get out of here. Now my mother will stay with him. I understand. I will get revenge mom and dad. Lets go Mr.Warden

me: Who are you?
king: Why, I'm the King of Fereldon.
me: Why should I care? If you want me to care, you take your forces to my home and chop Howe into little pieces
King: I can't. I want to stand pretty with the Grey Wardens while I kill darkspawn
me: While you're doing that, you're wife is with the milkman
king: What? How dare you?
me: Ahhhhh shutup. I'm going to relax for awhile.

oooooh, Victoria is pretty :) Now I miss DA:O too.

Awww xD cool, I still have to do a solo run, where I don't die xD

I did xD I have a simple solution for situations like that. Chain Lightning.  xDD

I somehow managed that. With demons map, to add! Envy is horrible enemy, but I survived! *self high five*

I abandoned Chain Lightning during one of my pts, when I was having fun killing Giants in Emerald Graves. That spell attracted way too much attention *terrible flashbacks*

Good, good. I would nag you about it if you had other plans xD

I managed that with my Keeper. Somehow...

New DLC? Yay!

All devs' tweets lead to that conclusion. And I think it's about time we get one.

Sending Cole down the spirit is pretty cool too, but I dunno path I like better. They're both done well and worth checking out. Tha helps a lot, I know

Yeah, I'm planning to check that path during one of my pts. I have two more planned I mean prepared pts, with characters created and all. Maybe during one of those? And I have yet to play male character... in any DA game. I don't think that'll happen. I'm too used to playing females o 3o

Uuugh, Giants, in the Emerald Graves, my finger never even touched Chain Lightning near them  Immolate was a great friend there xD I just like to use Chain Lightning for Templar Archers, they're always so nicely lined next to each other. They basically ask you to shock them. :D

I'm juggeling way to many games at the moment (FALLOUT 3, FALLOUT NEW VEGAS, DAI, DAO) and just got my rented game in the mail today. I still got to put in my 120 pictures and gagize my La Laifah pictures. i got some started but not finished. BTW they may be long posts.

How to Lose an Elf in Ten Days

Day 1: Have a nice walk with your besties ruined by slavers who keep insisting someone in your party is a slave. Idiots.

Spoiler

Day 2: Track said slavers back to their base and plan your attack.

Day 3: Enter the base and free any slaves you find. Maybe even hire one of them.
Spoiler

Day 4: Kill the b*tch in charge, but not before she drops a bombshell on your sort-of-but-not-quite boyfriend.
Spoiler

Day 5: Head straight for the bar since your not-boyfriend ran off in a fit of broody pique after insulting you and hurting your feelings. :(
Spoiler

Day 6: Distract yourself by agreeing to help your crazy blood mage friend try to fix a broken mirror that apparently once killed people.
Spoiler

Day 7: Take a very weak party to hunt a legendary elven creature. Have no trouble with the varterral but get wiped by friggin' spiders.  [Forgot to take screenshots of this fight ]

Day 8: Back to the bar for another round.

Day 9: Finally head home only to find
Spoiler

Day 10:
Spoiler

There's always hope for the ole Fennry. Just don't dive into someone else or it may cost you later on.

Spoiler

Another Dragon Hunter's Challenge mounted in the trophy room!

Kaltenzahn was tougher than I expected. I ended up reloading at least half a dozen times, one where I had her all the way down to less than 5% health, but all my party was napping except my KE IQ and I had already blown Resurgence. I was holding my own against three dragonlings and big mama solo, but then she one-shotted me with a bite attack and that was it.

I got a few nice screenies out of it, like this one, with wings raised and that minty clean breath:

xmk9af.png

Came out as Level 17 and about half of the XP to the next level. Barring any XP mishaps, the final battle with the Ravager should put me into level 18 plus about 5000. A full level below my first run, not too bad.

Oh that one. I believe that's the second Du Lione dragon. I know the first two Du Lione dragons are ice based while the third one is fire based. Dragon number one though is not armored while dragon number two is.

I've not done the DLC on nightmare yet but on hard Sera one-shotted the Gurd Harofsen Revenant with Mighty Offence and level three Thousand Cuts...

Sadly...while I have been playing Malaioniss it's been more sausage fest (Malaioniss, Cole, Dorian, Iron Bull. At times i have replaced Cole with Cassandra though). I only kept Sera around because she is a fellow elf. However I may try mighty offensive potions to see if it would improve my damage for my inquisitors ability. Honestly what potions do you suggest I grab? I do have the added slot so I can do things like ice resistance and mighty offence as an example. All i know is the bruisers are insanely dangerous (whirlwind from the avaar bruisers is an instant kill to an ally even at full health). Archers are equally insane too because if I get hit and froze by a archer they can do SHATTER damage to me (instant kill). The only semi dangerous guys is the boss (freeze grip then swing takes 75% health) and the avaar soldiers (basic damage deals 75% to Dorian and Malaioniss/Cole. iron Bull/Cassandra take about 50%. Stone Armor seems to semi help but for a few seconds apparently and it seems like it must be spammable. The start is a pain though because of the two bruisers and the five spellbinders. Spellbinders barrier spam and ice mine spam. "Attack my target" helps out a-lot but frankly the best way i can solve this quickly is my inquisition special but then would need to recharge.

Um, what is the red templar doing there?

I love getting enemies chipping in. Isn't that the dragon in Crestwood? I swear I had that happen to me two except it was two venetori solders, a venetori gladiator and a venetori spellbinder. They got destryoed by the dragon and ealt zero damage.

Everyone.

Companions aren't too hard to kill. Leliana dies in front of the ashes. Oghren can be killed at camp if very low approval. rock girl can be killed when wanting to use the anvil. Zevran can easily be killed if not friendly with him. Wynne can be killed in the circle tower. Morrigan can't be killed and Alistair can be killed off screen.

What would be cruel is sleeping with either the female or male elf  in the clan and then choose the wolves killing all the elves. Hahaha

Someone did a playthrough with only the dog left. Like I said. I'm not sure if I will do a playthrough like that.

True. i believe I killed off Liliana in the sacred ashes story mission by siding with the cult and took her along. I cannot remember who I did that with though. Shayle I am unsure though. I swear i have taken her along and sided with Branka and only got Shayle disaproveing me. I think you have to seriously treat Shayle like dirt. I know when you meet Zevran you can kill him instead of spareing him. I have killed Wynne at the tower in the mage tower story. in theory you can kill Morrigan in the WITCH HUNT DLC if you choose to stop her from entering the eluvian mirror. True Alister is killed off screen if you choose to have Logain live after winning the duel.

After thinking about it as far as Logain goes....ah....another discussion for a different reason. Let's just say DAO is a bit biased about you keeping Alister around. Just play DAO then DAI and read some codex's and pick up on some of the politics. It's like the MARK OF THE ASSASSIN DLC in DA 2 and Celene in DAI. Celene clearly hates qunari. Btw I am going to be VERY curious on how that would work in WICKED MINDS, WICKED HEARTS with my qunari. I bet everyone will be like "ZOMG! INVADERS!!!" and I would get a -20 start or something. Lol.

I just finished solo-operation again. Demons, 'cause there's new challenge running (I already completed it). The difference between this one and the first one... Wow. In the first one I barely managed. This time? I haven't touched health potions.

I think I'll end up hating Venatori map >.>

Same here... but tell Dorian or Solas not to use it. I know you can switch it off in tactics, but who remembers to do it every time? I like to troll templar archers. Fade Step is my friend here xD

Cool  :o The Demon one? (that sounds actually interesting and doable)
Tevinter? Why that? I don't know if I dislike a "map", but somehow I prefer Orlais. Much more open space.
Good thing, Dorian doesn't have Chain Lightning and I replaced Solas' with PotA.  Sera always hit some bystanding Bronto's with Leaping shot .  :pinched:

I've seen this survey, but I hope it's not next DLC. I would be so disappointed.

As I said, there are tweets pointing that we'll be getting new DLC. But there's update. Someone tweeted Mark Darrah when we'll be hearing about new content.

So this is Ostagar. I wish I brought my camera to take pictures. I miss my parents. I need to focus on revenge. How many ways will I kill Howe? I will think of the most painful and gory way for him to die. Yes. I need to let the hatred flow.

I walk around the camp talking with folks. Why are they nervous about talking with me? I'm not nervous when I'm around myself.

I talk with a guy named Jory. He talks about his wife and that she is pregnant. Look man. Go back to your wife. You don't need to be here. He says he wants to serve as a Grey Warden.

I see a guy smooth talking a woman. I bet I would have better luck then he would. He is nice looking. He introduces himself. Daveth is the name. I tell him we'll see what happens later

I see two men talking. They talk like they're married. This is Alistair. It seems more like a boy trapped in a mans body. He wonders why there aren't many women in the Grey Wardens. Not interested guy. I knew I should of agreed to pose for the Thedas Playboy. They offered me a lot of sovereign. If I took it I might not be here talking with this guy. Maybe once this Grey Warden thing is done, I might go pose.

Duncan tells us to go into the wilds to get darkspawn blood and some paperwork. Finally. Every darkspawn I see, will look like Howe. Kill, kill. Lets go.

Ser Jory is having second thoughts. He should be back with his wife. He's not focused and that will get him killed. Aha. The darkspawn approach. Die scum. Yes. Bash, slice, bash, stab. Haha. I switch to the bow. Yes. An arrow to the head solves everything. Hahaha

Who is this?

me: Who are you?

Daveth: That's the witch of the wilds

me: Really? I'm the witch of  the tamed. Hahaha

Jory: Don't joke about things like that

woman: Boy what a bunch of wimps. Next time I will swoop down and grab each one of you

Alistair: Oh crap. Please no swooping.

woman: Haha. You don't seemed to be scared

me: Nah. I have other concerns then worrying about you swooping

woman: So brave. My name is Morrigan. My mother has the paperwork you need. Follow me

mother: I see. Grey Wardens are here for your paperwork. I kept it and copied what was on them for my own personal use. Hahaha

Alistair: Ahh...ok. Can we have them?

mother: Sure. You will need them to stop the darkspawn. Dear girl. Please escort our guests back to where they came from

Ah, okay.

From reading the survey, I don't think that'll be the next DLC. I see the Inquisitor going on a few more adventures before the final mission. It makes more sense for Inquisitor to stay in power for a while and further develop the Inquisition's influence around the world than ending things too soon.

Bruce finally claimed the Tower of Bone. He did mess up a little, because he first killed the Behemoth and then wondered, why he couldn't claim the Tower, two reloads later he finally got, that there were still Red Templars around.  So he went and killed them too and was finally able to claim the Tower.

Haha....that happened to me once and I was certain my game was bugged. I couldn't figure out why the camp icon thingie wouldn't activate. Reloaded a couple of times before I figured it out.

No worries on the Fenris front; I know exactly what I'm doing. :) I could never kill him or hand him over to Danarius. Even my one Hawke who rivaled him had more respect for him than that.

As for JoH on NM....I found fully upgraded Pitch Grenades and Bees very helpful, and of course Proximity Ice Resistance and Regen. Use Static Cage for the bruisers since they are weak to lightning damage. And, of course, full blast Mark of the Rift for Gurdy once you get to him. Thousand Cuts also works wonders. I don't take on both groups together; instead I wait until the bruisers come toward the party, then throw the cage and a grenade. It stops them/slows them down and you can do a lot of damage in the meantime. The mages won't attack if you stay on the near side of the pillar until the bruisers are defeated. They're too busy with their ritual to begin with, so I just let them keep at it until I'm ready for them. :D  Also, don't try this battle if you are tired. I first attempted it on a Friday night and I failed miserably multiple times. Next day, fresh out of the gate and rested, I got it in one.

Time for the ritual. Jory is really nervous. Oh crap. Daveth is dead. Jory puls out his sword. Now he's dead. A shame. AHHHHHHHHH. cough....cough. It burns. Yuck. I need to catch my breath. I'm alive. Ok.

What? King dingbat wants me to light some beacon. No way. I want to be in the thick of things killing the uglies. And I'm stuck with the boy. Come on. Lets get this crap over with

Uglies in the tower. Good. Enter kill mode. Bash, stab, slice and chop. Repeat.

Look at the really big ugly with the horns. Did a bull get loose from someone's farm? I light the beacon. All of a sudden it goes dark

Hey its the girl from the wilds. Her mother rescued me. Thanks for helping Morrigan. Her mother is Flemeth. Ok. Morrigan joins me and Alistair to stop the blight. I talk with Flemeth

me: Can you do me a favor Flemeth?

Flemeth: What is it?

me: Do you have a potion you can give me that will help me get my revenge against Howe for killing my family?

Flemeth: Hmmm..lets see. Here you go. Its called the Jason Voorhees special. Take it when you face Howe.

me: Thanks Flemeth.

We head to Lothering. The bandits want me to pay a toll. I pay a toll in my very special way. I made them eat my sword and shield. Hahaha. Lets go into town and get some supplies before heading to Redcliffe

On the plus side, bringing Anders and Seb along earned Malia a bunch of friendship points (not that it will matter for Seb in the end ).

Spoiler

Girls' day out on Sundermount. Cleared the "recently opened passage" and found the golem merchant. Ugh, that battle is one of the toughest. Too many spawns and they overlap. They were doing fine until the last Arcane Horror, which got both Isabela and Aveline  while Hawke and Merrill were busy with the Revenant.
Spoiler

After clearing up the mountainside, the girls went back to Kirkwall and cleaned up the streets. Took out both the Invisible Sisters and the Dog Lords, then headed for wherever Emeric thought Hawke was going to meet him. :?

Next up is "All That Remains...." :crying:  Fenris will of course be along for that one. Hawke headed straight for his place after learning her mom was missing.

My new game of Inquisition has started in earnest today. Meghan Trevelyan is a devout Andrastian from a noble family in the Free Marches, and has spent a good part of her life in the Ostwick Circle as a mage of no small talent. She believes in the structure of the Circle and that a good relationship between mages and templars is possible. She is dismayed by the current rebellion and will do what she must to restore order, starting in the Hinterlands.

This is my second Trevelyan, and each is a devout Andrastian believer. I dunno why I like to play them this way; maybe because it suits them far better than a Cadash, Adaar, or Lavellan? I plan on siding with the templars this time, and Meghan will drink from the Well of Sorrows. I hope to get Leliana as Divine this time, because I haven't managed it in four previous PTs. We'll see. Given the way I'm planning on role-playing Meghan, I will likely end up with Cassie as Divine.

Meghan is going to fall madly in love with ambassador Montilyet because she will find herself unable to resist that silky voice and sultry look, and will find herself spending hours just talking with Josie to the exclusion of anyone else. ...I also hope to play this as a magequisition, and roll out Dorian, Solas, and Vivienne on quests as often as possible. There will be times when I need a lock picked or a wall bashed, but I dunno how often those instances are plot-critical. *shrug* I'll save often and deal with those occasions as they happen.

Meghan will eventually become a Rift Mage, because I've done a Knight-Enchanter PT, and have no interest in the Necromancer skill tree... and also because of Your Trainer ^_^

I've played through the introduction and the first tutorial tour/meet-and-greet through Haven and have ventured out into the Hinterlands. Meghan has gotten right to business and rescued Mother Giselle first thing. That's something I always delayed doing as long as possible, but this time I thought I'd get it out of the way early so I can feel free to wander around. I just went back to Haven so I could go to the war table and unlock the Black Emporium because there are things about Meghan's appearance that need adjustment now that I'm in-game, heh.

This is why there are no screenies yet :P

Depends how you view plot critical. For main story and companion quests there isn't anything that requires a specific class. The rest depends if you want to 100% everything or not.

Not so concerned about 100% completion, not with this being my fifth PT. It's why I wanted to get all five mosaics last time, heh. I figure I can craft good enough gear for everyone, so making sure I have the best schematics and best belts/rings/amulets will be my biggest concern.

Yes I am falling off of mountains all the time.  too.

Same here. If I'm a mage I rarely take normal route. Barrier and juuuuummmmmp!~~

-snip-

I like to play my Trevelyans as "I'm not sure about my faith". I lately came up with idea of getting Adrastian Cadash. That would be nice.

I get Leliana almost every time, but Cass seems to be good Divine as well. I think I would replay my game if somehow I ended up with Viv. I can put up with her as part of Inquisition. Heck, she's entertaining, from time to time. But hell no for her being Divine!

About classes... I would take one rogue to Champions of the Just, because of Knight Captain chambers. For rest? Even if you encounter door you can't go through cause you need warrior/rogue (but want to), you can always return o 3o

You mentioned Your Trainer... I have to post this.

Your Trainer out.

My other Trevelyan was a believer who had doubts about being the Herald at first, but came to believe it as time went on. Admittedly, part of him just enjoyed being called " the Herald" because that was his name : Harold ^_^ ... But a broken heart shook his faith to the foundations when the woman he loved, Cassie, became the new Divine and left him.

Meghan will remain faithful throughout -- should be easier to do with Josie as LI, maybe? Might be difficult to reconcile what happens in the temple of Mythal with her belief in the Maker, but that's one of those things I'm looking forward to.

Vivienne as Divine is actually quite interesting. I've gotten her in each if my last two games, and in the last I wasn't even trying, heh. I dunno what happened there.

Thanks for the suggestion of a rogue for Champions of the Just. Because of the countdown timer in that quest I really don't want to play it more than once.. I hate timed quests. And thanks for the pic of Your Trainer. If I hadn't already decided on being a knight-enchanter in my first game -- because light saber -- I would have been a rift mage just because of her.

Ouch, poor guy. I may be late, but I'm gonna buy him a drink. It's never too early nor too late to get drunk.

I don't think it will be so hard. I don't trust that wicked witch - one possible reason to drink. If someone has to wield this ancient power it should be me - second reason. I don't want anyone else to risk in my place - third reason. I can think of some more ;)

Oh, I know she's interesting Divine. But I don't think I would like her. At least not in my canon playthrough. I did everything I could while not breaking out of character to get Leliana. We'll see what's the result soon.

For addictional judgment option it's worth to break from magequisition for this one quest. I don't mind the timer. Actually I kind of like it, just like in WEWH. If you don't plan to loot everything, you should be able to pick up everything Ser Barris is asking for in one go. And no problem :) I really liked Your Trainer before, but this pic made me love her!

Thousand Cuts is for taking out a single target with loads of HP very quickly. It's therefore very useful for bosses and Dragons. Fully upgraded Mighty Offense Tonic gives a damage boost and crucially if you score a critical hit it doubles the damage. If you combine Thousand Cuts with an Assassin's "Mark of Death" ability which also doubles damage you can literally take out high dragons with one attack. So you put Mark of Death on an enemy, pause and switch to Sera, have her attack with Thousand Cuts and then when she's done switch back to your Assassin and detonate Mark of Death. It's worth saying that I have Mark of Death set up so that the AI does not use it. I find that it's an ability that you need to trigger manually at the right tactical  moment. (Same with spell purge and dispel, actually...)

I'm not sure I can help with the specific Avvar enemies and their abilities. When I played JoH I didn't feel the need to approach fighting them differently to normal, I just found that I needed to be more careful, so all I can do is offer my general advice.

In terms of dealing with hordes of lower-level enemies, there are different ways to do it. I can explain how I approach things but I should say that it's just my preferred playstyle and others are successful playing in other ways. Also I apologise if I'm just telling you obvious stuff that you already know here.

I use tac cam and pause a lot and although I mostly control the Inquisitor, I do give specific targets to characters and occasionally will trigger a specific ability.

I have my tank set up to draw aggro soak up damage as much as possible, at the expense of offensive abilities, both in terms of skills and armour and weapons. This means anything that generates guard and draws in enemies. Armour with boosts to melee defense in particular and also magic/ranged, plus masterwork materials that either boost guard or grant periods of walking fortress. Basically my tank (Usually Cassandra) is just for grabbing the enemies' attention and not dying. Doing damage is not what they are for. If a mage or rogue is being attacked I will sometimes use my tank to try and draw the enemy away from them, but the ideal is to grab their attention in the first place and not let them near the "squishy" characters.

I don't like two-handed warriors so I don't use them.

I set up rogues and mages so that they have as many aggro-reducing abilities as possible, so that enemies stay focused on the tank. If they are being regularly hit then something is going wrong. If it's an archer rogue or mage I'll try to keep them away from the melee characters and make sure their armour has ranged/magic defense. I'll give them masterwork abilities that do extra damage such as chain lightning or hidden blades. I will tend to focus on using them to take out opposition mages and rogues first as they do most damage. It can be useful to use pull of the abyss and static cage to trap bunches of enemies before spamming them with other area of effect attacks. If you have a dual wield rogue they need babysitting more but they can quickly take out the most dangerous enemies with the likes of hidden blades or mark of death as an assassin. Evade is also very useful in a tight squeeze.

I don't know if any of that was actually useful to you, but there it is. :)

Today, sweet little Lavellan abandoned all her world-saving duties and run off on a dragon-hunting spree! She went ahead and killed five four dragons in a row! That took her two levels up right away, she is 21 now - not so little anymore, I guess ^_^
Anyway. The first to go was the dreaded Vinsomer. 8 levels higher than the regular enemies on the Coast, terrorizing giants, lurking on the island of zappy death... well, not anymore! Storm Coast is officially zappity-free! The battle went pretty good, except for the last part, when the dreaded Vinsomer covered the whole battlefield with electricity circles upon her death... almost took us with her! Luckily, we had a lot of healing potions.
After that, we proceeded to the Emerald Graves. We didn't care about pesky distractions - wildlife, bandits, red templars and such, all were ignored at the moment - we hunted the dragon! The Greater Mistral, oh yes... there she was, in the farthest corner of the forest, of course... hiding! Sweet little Lavellan, while keeping her distance, diligently took notes on her behavior for professor Frederic of Serault, then went ahead and slew the beast. The Greater Mistral was not much of a challenge. The dreaded Vinsomer put up a better fight.
And thus two high dragons were slain. But sweet little Lavellan was not satisfied yet! (Where did this murderous mood come from, I swear I have no idea). Anyway, the only surviving dragons were spotted in the Emprise du Lion and the Hissing Wastes. Sweet little Lavellan decided to go to the Emprise first, since there was not just one beast but three!
There she carefully weighted her options and picked her prey. First, she went after the Hivernal.
The Hivernal was not happy. Not happy at all.

Spoiler
Ouch

Apparently, Bull and Cole finished the Hivernal off, then spent quite some time thawing out the frozen elves. Cole must've made a lot of cryptic references to Disney...
However, if you think that the icicle experience discouraged sweet little Lavellan somehow, you are in the wrong! If anything, she enjoyed it! I see no other explanation for her going straight after the Kaltenzahn next...
The Kaltenzahn, ooh, that was a tough one. Still a level above sweet little Lavellan, with a horde of dragon babies at her call... But guess who had all three bars of Focus filled by then B) Fully charged Mark of the Rift over the Mark of Death truly did wonders. It took Kaltenzahn from 75% to 25% health in one click! :police: Poor thing didn't even had the chance to bring in reinforcements. No, the babies came, but by the time they did, The Kaltenzahn already lay slain. Victorius again!
But it was not over yet. The Highland Ravager still drew breath, and sweet little Lavellan just couldn't let that be. She restocked her potions, changed her resistance tonics from cold to fire. Professor Frederic of Serault sent her a note, warning her that the Highland Ravager was considered the most fierce and dangerous beast in Orlais, but she heeded his words not. She was level 21 after all! So what if the Highland Ravager was still two levels higher. Didn't she just slay four dragons in a row? She could do this!
And so on she went, weapons blazing.
The Highland Ravager... lol'd. I can assume she did, because in ten minutes it took us to make a small dent in her health bar, she jumped around like crazy and put her full Guard up four or five times. Apparently, then she got bored and one-shot both Bull and Cole with a fireball. Sweet little Lavellan called for a tactical retreat.
The second attempt was... faster. Also, with less Guard. Couple of minutes into the fight, the Highland Ravager just totally bbq'd Bull with a single breath of fire. Extra crispy!
Defeated and humbled, sweet little Lavellan retreated to camp again. It was time to return to her world-saving duties anyway. Stupid Highland Ravager. Ruined such a perfect score. I'll be back, you stupid overgrown lizard. Grumble-grumble.
