On this episode of Dragon Age Inquistion: What Pride Had Wrought ft. Claudia Black as 'Morrigan the crazy witch lady who wants all da powa...unlimted POWER...' ahem got a little carried away there....also going near deaf due to new headphones and Dragon Fights.
Lets see. Started off in the Western Approach, solved one more Astarium but sort of went '**** it' because I realized I did not have enough Pure Fire Essences to make it work. Off to Skyhold, and had a chat with all my companions...crafted something new...and then off to the Emprise Du Lion to wrap up the last two Dragon fights. Hehehehehe.
So off to the Emprise. And then this time made sure to do all the preparations. Team Dorian, Sera, and Cass...I tihink. Hivernal. What a freaking whimp. Now that was a slaughter, think I only used like three potions and the guy just stood there taking it. Erm...girl. Anyways, defeated her and traded out parties for Cassandra, Varric, Solas. Highland Ravager was much tougher, aided by the fact used up a lot of focus during the last fight, and she had children, and she had guards to protect her. Still got through it pretty easily. Though the worse problem was THE THING'S FREAKING SCREACHING HURT MY EARS IN MY NEW HEADPHONES. Ahem.
So then after that back to Skyhold to talk to everyone. But I had run most of them out of dialog, so very short comments. And then off to the actual Temple itself. Of Mythal. Took Morrigan. Got lost at first, got lost again, but I eventually made my way through. And man this quest is a lot cooler then I remembered it being the first time. I found a new appreciation for it and it was pretty high on my list to begin with. Kicked a lot of butt, have the screncaptures and vid to prove it, and bull rushed through the Rituals
. But at least I got Cal to back off thanks to the AMAZING TEMPLE OF DUMAT QUEST OMG BACK UP.
I almost forgot I did the Shrine of Dumat in this playthrough, tonight, and well I was surprised/ impressed in just how different it was then during the Mage Version. Listening to Corypheus's memories, I heard they were fascinating but didn't expect them to be that fascinating. Also the scene with the mage was one of the most powerful, chilling moments in the game. The ambiance during the quest, the tone, the mood, was pitch perfect. And the mention of Sampson was quite appreciative too. I loved it, and I have vid of it...which I should post one day... I hope.
But yeah Cal backed off thanks to my knowledge from the Shrine and left the field of Battle to hold back her master. I wonder if she survived? Then Abelas committed suicide effectively but Kara got mighty pissed off at Morrigan because of it...and thus drank from the well.
Which leads us to the scene in 'the Final Pieces' which was...creepy for her, and a bit confusing. First it seems 'Mytha' realeases the Inquisitor and then says "I have no commands for you...yet." Uh...uh oh. But it seems to have ended in a good way. I mean Kara was just so pissed it wa slike, oh no, you aren't drinking from it...with Leliana and Morrigan killing defensless people she has gotten rather sensitive about the whole thing.
Wrapped up by talking to everyone again, going on to open the last piece in the Temple of Solassan, interesting, and then went off to upload pics onto USB, and soon they will be on computer.
Also, in other news I finally have gone back to writing 'Consequences of an Ordered World' hopefully that will be up soon.
