I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I don't see why Cadash would be upset about that, being a surface dwarf and unlikely to have been there during the Burkel incident. The incident was also caused by the dwarves themselves, and only after Divine heard about it did she consider sending an Exalted March.

 

Another interesting thing:

The epilogue for Dagna says "The dwarven mage, Dagna, ultimately completed her studies..."

Wonder if that is a mistake, a hint, or simply added because she's studying magic? I never really paid attention to that before.

Something happened in Awakenings that never happened before.

 

I went to the woods to investigate the carvans. As I was collecting the fine silks, I walked towards a tree when I got a cutscene. It was with the guy who told me about the darkspawn taking their weapons and  mentioning an elf.  After that and dealing with the darkspawn, I headed back to the area to collect the rest of the silks when Velenne showed up and told me to leave the area. Fine. 

 

I went around the woods doing other things and when I finally headed to the camp with the graves and weapons, nothing happened. I walked every where in the area to have Velenna show up, but never did. Fine.

 

Went in the mine and encounter the uglytect. When I was done with that, I headed back to the woods to get Velanna. Nothing.

If this happens prior to your first meeting with Velanna it will break the plotline and make it impossible for you to trigger the second meeting and therefore prevents you from adding her as a party member."

Yerah, but typical of most dwarves I encountered, especially in Orzammar, they would harbour a lot of resentment, at the very least, towards the chantry for even considering a march against them. That's what i meant. they're not the most compromising folks, and even some suurfacers could see it that way too. I just think it'd be interesting if it played out that way.

Honestly i've been hitting fighting games as of late (J STARS and TEKKEN REVOLUTION). I need a break from those and hop into either Ullia or La Laifah. I got big plans for both. Both should be awesome playthroughs.

 

It turns out you do need a point put into in persuasion.

I'd rather spend it on something else, but ah well.

 

I always put in a persuasion point. If I remember right to side with the werewolves or even broker for peace you need either level 3 persuasion and high cunning or max persuasion and high cunning. Not to mention it would even help if you play as a noble to marry either Alister or Anora. When I finished Goketsu I couldn't marry Anora so she had to rule alone. After thinking about it it does fit Goketsu since he's a stick in the mud vagabond so I doubt he would be happy to rule with a semi back stabbing queen. Lol.

 

Oh man, those bears in the Emprise. ...There's a rift in the upper left corner of the Emprise zone, near where you start out when you first arrive, and off to the side of that rift there's a campsite. you have to go there to resolve a quest -- that I've forgotten the name of -- and in my third game, with my dwarf 2H warrior, we went to that campsite and finished off a pack of wolves. We came around the corner of a ruined wall near the campsite, and one after the other... six of those great bears. I had never seen anything like that, not even in the Emerald Graves.

I hate the rifts in Emprise. the one near the start that contains Cassamdra's rouge mage mission is a pain becuase at times it spawns a garbage ton of terrors or a couple greater terrors that terror spam. Another rift along the way to a tent point to the fortress and a route leading to a cave containing darkspawn (and warden trace thingy for Blackwall) is another because of terrors, despair demons and two to three of the lightning guys. Its hard to say what potions to bring because you may need ice and lightning resistance potions. It's completely arghanomics.

 

I think that's the same spot I'm talking about. In the same general area anyway; that lake with the island in the middle, that has a tower on it? Maybe it's a random spawn because in my last game I never met any bears in the Emprise.

Six great bears?!  I get one or two bears whenever I visit Emprise du Lion.

 

0.o I get great bears at a specific spot in the Meadows. It's around a river bank a bit past the tent. However six great bears back to back at Du Lion? Hmmm...

It doesn't sound like a mistake. If I remember DA 2 when meeting her she does mention this and how she completed training but chose to 'travel' as opposed to stick to Ozzamaar. By DAI she is a full mage and a enchantress and chooses to help out by using her skills she gained over the years. The DA world has been treating her as some sort of dwarven genius.

I've never seen that in my epilogues. In fact, I haven't helped Burkel in so long I don't remember the last time I got that ending. I always helped Dagna though. Where does it say there's a possible Exalted March if you don't help him set up the Chantry?

Finished out my Bronte Lavellan play through, just now. I FINALLY got a softened Leliana Divine.

Now I need to grab a couple of the screenies I took, and upload them.

And yes, she was a Solasmancer (like all of my thick-headed f!Lavellans are ). @Solas's (the forum-poster, not previously mentioned Inquisitor's ex) PC would probably get along with this particular Lavellan of mine. She has 'tude, and didn't let the egg-man rustle her jimmies.

Finally got around to playing DAI and continue Demetria's story.

 

First off, she went to Crestwood with Cassandra, Bull and Cole to deal with a few bandits causing trouble for travellers. Then fought and slayed her first high dragon. When Demetria returned to Skyhold, she celebrated in the tavern with her boyfriend Bull and gave him a dragon's tooth necklace as a gift. It's official, they're an item 

 

Later, the new boyfriend and girlfriend ventured into the Emerald Graves with Cassandra and Sera tagging along. They managed to oust the Freemen and assist Fairbanks and the surviving villagers. Demetria discovered Fairbanks' noble birth, but she gave him the evidence to destroy. 

 

Demetria also helped Leliana and Josephine with their personal quests. Leliana didn't kill Sister Natalie in Valence and she was able to let go of past hurts. Josie on the other hand, dealt with her financial troubles while the lady Inquisitor killed the assassins during a meeting in Val Royeaux. 

 

Lastly, some craziness happened in the Hinterlands! Demetria guided a lost druffalo back to the farm, but they teamed up in mauling demons and stray mabari at the waterfall fade rift. Such a blast! Then she, Bull, Solas and Cassandra went on a murder rampage against lyrium smugglers and mercenaries in Hafter's Woods and the fortress. Demetria stacking pull of the abyss, veilstrike, firewall and Solas' firestorm made an awesome show against mercenary brutes! Two Rift Mages are such monsters 

 

Next up: Trouble in Valamaar featuring Varric and Bianca...

Two Rift Mages are such monsters 

 

Looking forward to it in my Tanith Solas(maybe)-mance play-through that is on hold until I finish DA2.

More important, I got my cpu fan replaced!! Yay!!!  It's glowing cool blue while the one I took out was red. It is cooling better and running MUCH quieter than the old one, so double and triple YAY!!

 

Now maybe I can get back to sneaking around Chateau Haine. No fair that Tallis can stealth but Hawke, even if a rogue, can't.   Still, as a mage Malia should be able to put the whammy on the guards so they don't notice her, right?

@Mebella - Ugh. Sneaking at Chateau Haine. Kudos to you for going that route. After my one and only try at "sneaking", all subsequent play throughs have been, "Swords for everyone!".

I have always been terrible at that type of game mechanic. And I have been known to "rage quit", when failing repeatably and forced to start again...and again...and again...

I don't really like it either but I actually didn't do too bad this time; only had to reload a few times.   If I play a warrior, then it's swords for everyone! Malia made up for it though, taking on all the guards in the dungeon.

 

Now to find the solution to that stupid tile puzzle.....ugh!
