Hmm...
1. Lots of mods.
2. A program similar to SweetFX to change colors/light/etc...
3. Two pictures are slightly photoshopped.
4. The final Keep picture is from the epilogue slides, not an in-game screenshot.

I've never seen that in my epilogues. In fact, I haven't helped Burkel in so long I don't remember the last time I got that ending. I always helped Dagna though. Where does it say there's a possible Exalted March if you don't help him set up the Chantry?
It's not what I meant. True, I said that if you don't help Burkel, but help Dagna, there's possible Exalted March. But I never said it's because he didn't set up the Chantry. It's because of Dagna's studies.

Surprises like this were reason why I was scared to leave Hinterlands at the beginning of my first DA:I playthrough. I mean... I will help this farmer to get back her ring that templars took and it will turn out the ring was indeed cursed and months after the end of the story she'll kill entire village... and another one... and one more...

There is such creativity with the characters, dialogue and everything else.
On a side note, I love that sound your armor makes when you walk, though I can imagine may find it annoying.
And here is another picture of my Warden.

You shouldn't really worry. The Chantry threatening an Exalted March is a lot like a dissatisfied customer threatening to sue: you can threaten anything you want, it's trying to make the case stick where it falls apart. Lyrium is already outside the Chantry's control, and really never has been. It's been in the hands of the ones getting it to the surface, the surface dwarves. I'm pretty sure the carta has its own way of making sure things don't get out of hand if their profits start falling. Exalted Marches are bad for business.
When something irreversible happened, it wasn't villages, or even barns. It was Lord Woolsley getting ticked off by stray ranged attacks. The serious consequence things like Redcliffe and Therinfall Redoubt happen regardless of what Inq does. Inq can make it better for one side or the other, but nothing Inq does will make it worse than it would be already.

I remember my first DAO playthrough. Oh, amount of mistakes I made, things I missed xD
And that's one really cool Warden.
To not be off-topic:
Except for playing multiplayer (with SporkFu), I made yet another character. I should stop doing that. Now I have three created characters waiting for me to play them plus one I really, really want to replay. But anyway, here's Phrona Adaar, 2h warrior and (planned) Champion.

I know exactly what you mean about mistakes and missing stuff.
Most people recommend treating the first run as just a test, and for that purpose it may be best to play a character that isn't your canon hero. But... I just couldn't wait.

Having returned from Val Royeaux where she witnessed the templar's Lord Seeker abandon the Chantry, Brin held a meeting in the war room to discuss the Inquisition's next move.
Cassandra was in shock over the Lord Seeker's actions and despite her own up bringing in the order continued to press upon Brin that perhaps the mages were not a lost cause after all. This seemed to ****** off Cullen who said the Templars might be of some use. Even Brin had to wonder why he felt so strongly about the Templars after what he had seen in Kirkwall. He had seen first hand what the templars under Knight Commander Merideth had done. But deep down Brin knew he had a point. After all she herself is a devout Andraste follower as well as a firm believer in the chantry and mage circles. She had discussed this at length already with Vivienne and like Vivienne had said. You do not toss aside the tool for the job simply because the tool was missused.
But Brin also values Cassandra's opinion so it was decided to go to Redcliffe and at least meet with Grand Enchanter Fiona. She took with her Cassandra of course, as well as Solas and Vivienne. After all if she was to appeal to the mages, then having mages with her might make the Inquisition seem better. Brin had been to Redcliffe before the mages had moved in and was rather familiar with the area. But the time altering rift before the gates was a new one even for her. But the mark upon her hand managed to close it all the same.
They were all quite startled however to learn that no one was expecting the Inquisition in Redcliffe. Even the Grand Enchanter Fiona did not even recognize them and insisted it was not her that had invited them. And the surproses did not end there Brin learned the mages had pretty much sold themselves into slavery to a tevinter magister by the name lf Alexius. They used a fancier term but slavery was pretty much the reality of it. Brin was just about to at least start some sort of negotiations when Alexius's son Felix fainted against her. He was rushed from the tavern by his father and Fiona but not before he quietly slipped a small note into her pocket. It warned her that she was in danger and to visit the chantry to learn more.
Baffled and also alarmed by all this, Brin and the others went to the chantry to find yet another time altering rift. As well as a charming mage trying desporately to kill the demons falling out of it. Between Brin, Cassandra, Solas and Vivienne, the demons did not stand a chance and soon the rift was closed. "You do not even know how that works do you." the mage remarked about Brin's hand.
He seemed quite fasinated with it and introduced himself as Dorian. They were also joined shortly after by Felix. Both of them warned her that Alexius was up to something. He had control of time altering magic which Solas found both fascinating and disturbing. Brin would have doubted the existence of time magic were it not for the fact she witnesed a bit of it from the rifts. Neither Felix or Dorian knew exactly what Alexius was up to but it was obvious to even them it was not going to be good. But just how was Brin to get the mages from him? A man so powerful that he had even driven Erl Eamon from his lands not even the blight could?
In order not to attract any further attention, Dorian dismissed himself saying he could not risk letting Alexius know he was here. He cautioned Brin to be careful and that he would be in touch with her. With much to think about, Brin and the others left and went back to one of the camps further in the Hinterlands to discuss the next move. As the sun set upon the day, Brin and Cassandra sat alone by a fire and talked in hushed tones. Both knew the dangers of magic. And both knew that now with Tevinter involved, things with the mages just got a lot worse. In order to get the mages help might actually force the inquisition to fight them. Not a pleasant thought considering they needed as many mages as possible. At this point even Cassandra agreed that perhaps it might be best to try and get the Templars. At least those that would see reason. Those that might help the inquisition free the mages from the magistar's grasp. But they still did not have enough influence to approach the Templars just yet. There was much work to do but now more then ever, a greater sense of urgancy about it.

He's taking a potion or lyrium or something. If you cast Dispel or Spell Purge on him, he goes back to normal size.

Interesting. Do we know what is meant to have happened to the Circle of Magi in Orzammar when the Mage's rebelled? I imagine that no Templars were part of this Circle as it's not mentioned and with the reference to the Mages being apostates. Is it ever addressed in Inquisition?

On this episode of Dragon Age Inquisition: Closing one door and opening another.
So started off where I finished yesterday trying to get into the Hakkonite base. Following the trail markers, and activating them. Finally I got in and...then had to go back to Stone Bear Hold to gather my allies. Which that was kind of epic. The battle. The music, making the charge, under archer fire and then firing arrows right back at them. It was cool. Fast paced.
And then I got into the place. The cold was driving me nuts the battle with the you know what was tough. But then I got to meet Inquisior Ameridan, it did not effect me as much playing it this time...as watching it. Weird. :/ I do wonder...I just have not been as into it of late as I could be and a lot of the end run, mixed feelings. Part of it maybe I am not feeling one hundred percent and part of it is the whole ending will come again. :/
But then off to battling and finding the Dragon for Mythal.
And defeated the Dragon, off to face Corypheus. Thought it would be easy, I was like 6 levels beyond him. But he was not that easy after all, had trouble with him at first, but the rest of it went rather smoothly. Until the very end of the fight where I leaping shot...off the freaking path and onto the one below. Knocked out a lot of my health to do it, but I was still alive and did not reset. Unlucky for me. Because I had to go back up the stairs and even though my companions were seemingly behind me his health was just ticking down. By the time I got in a position to start firing again the final cut scene played. Buuutt that was cool.
And then back to Skyhold for the party. Cullen is a doll though, I am so glad I romanced him this play through with her. They had such amazing chemistry with one another. It was a few touching moments with them at the end.
BUT the best thing of all from the end. CASSANDRA IS DIVINE. I was so worried that I was going to get Psycho! Leiliana , I mean it was kind of what Kara would have wanted in a way, but then she would not have minded Cassandra either. After all Cassandra was open for her own reforms too. So she was relieved, and so I was the player. "CONGRAGULATIONS" Indeed.
Anyways put Kara to bed, put the game to bed...
and then just started up Benjamin Trevelyan.
So yeah, lightning mage Knight Enchanter here we come.

The Chantry seems to be paranoid about everything and tries so hard to erase important things from history.
I'm thinking of playing a rebellious anti-Channtry Inquisitor in a future play through.

When ME3 was released, it wasn't until my 6th playthrough that I imported my main Shepard, the one in my signature, and called it my canon playthrough
The reaon why I did that was do get all possible dialogue with everyone alive

Its funny I think with me, well I don't mind replaying a character over and over, and over, and over again. I was already, funilly enough, planning out a potential second run through with Kara when starting Ben. lol. Oops. My general idea is to play several out a few Inquisitor's and then play one definitive play through to 'put the game to bed'. ALTHOUGH I may continue to play other ones after that one. I just think it makes more sense at this point to continue experimenting, pick the Inquisitor I like best, and give hem one last hurrah.

Carefully sneaking through the castle was all for naught.
Prosper found Malia and Tallis and threw them in the dungeon, but only after pointing out that Tallis was a Qunari agent.
Fenris and Carver bonding.
Finding a way out only to be ambushed (again) by Prosper and later his bodyguard.
Finally back outside and ooh, look! Ruins!
Sadly, I forgot to take any screenies of all the pretty loot in the vault but at least I remembered to get the loot.
Now to see what those ruins are all about.....
