Argh that's a bummer
... Are you unable to play it online?
Yeah, I can play, briefly, online, but it's not good for my game. It is a very big game, and a system stretcher to begin with. Add a very narrow bandwidth for internet with lots of data lag, and every single time the server tries to synch, the game goes down, sometimes taking the computer itself with it.
I'm not all that happy about the way updates are done. My biggest complaint is that it automatically updates, whether you're logged in or not, then returns the options to preset. It's like a rock band renting a motel room. It goes in, has its party and sleeps it off, then leaves the room a mess for the cleaning staff the next day. If updates are automatic, they should never change the keybindings, mouse button settings, or account preferences of any kind, if the settings that are in place are to be supported by the proposed changes. If the settings will no longer be available, fine, go back to the defaults. But to make customers have to manually go in and redo all their adaptations each and every time the game updates is ridiculous.
At any rate, rant over. I did eventually kill the dragon, and pretty quickly. It never made it far from its first perch - about 50 feet. Now I'm going to recruit Storvacker as an agent, then take on the Arbor Wilds. Yay!
Two versions of the next: The time it crashed
Oh, and some eye candy
No wonder the computer crashed, with a start like that! The introduction to combat was much less troubling. This time, I like the shadow of the dragon over the gibberlings.
The frost breath didn't look fun from any angle
We brought our own breath weapon.
Right on the nose!
It's raising a lot of dust, but now she's really pouring it on and it's not doing any good.
Getting down to the wire. Who's going to land the killing blow?
I snapped the screen just after the orange 643 indicated that it was Mira!
It's pretty the way Hakkon's spirit departs.
So, this is where the loot landed.
Now, it's off to the Wilds, then Cory.
