By the way, I think the game doesn't flag that Morrigan has a son if you have Morrigan's son possess the old god soul. Morrigan didn't leave with her son at the end of the slideshow above and I think that's a problem. Is it normal for both of them to be at Skyhold post-ending?

I had Kieran only with old god's soul a few times and I got him in epilogue sliders once. So I don't think that's a reason. Problem must be somewhere else.

The last slide should be that Morrigan left Orlais, so neither she nor Kieran should be there.  The last slide should have been a cloaked figure leading a smaller cloaked figure, though.  If you saw Kieran in the garden before Doom upon the World, he is free of the old god soul and left with Morrigan.  They're there after Arbor Wilds, but not post-game.  

 

I hope this didn't glitch.  You might be able to check that it registered, if you can find your current inquisitor's playthrough, in the Keep.  Good luck!

 

 

Mira's going to go off on her own now, so it's finally time to play with Elissa Lavellan.  Attending the conclave was not her idea, but her clan felt she was the best suited to go, so off she went.  Now, she's a bit overwhelmed, to say the least.  

 

Waking up and scaring the life out of the first other elf she's seen was not propitious, and this wasn't a good sight to greet her as she emerged.  It was like going out to get the paper in bathrobe and bed head and bumping into a sweepstakes award team.  Hi!  You're on camera!

On arrival back at Haven, surprise, surprise, Chancellor Roderick was frothing at the mouth and had drawn a crowd.  Elissa decided that she really wanted to back Cullen up, but lightning struck a tree next to the chantry and she decided to freshen up in her cabin first.

She looks great for a dark reaver inquisitor. loving her story so far. I'm taking a reaver through MP at the moment, and I have to say she's quite deadly. Although having good gear definitely helps. Anyway it's given me a new respect for the reaver spec. I think iron Bull is doing it wrong, heh. I've got an elf warrior PT planned for sometime in the near future myself, and I'm thinking of trying this out for myself.

 

Bull isn't officially a Reaver compared to Tamar (the Reaver warrior you play in MP). 

 

So far, I've unlocked ring of pain for Alessandra II. Just have to level up and respec to use more abilities in this specialization. I'm building good gear for her. Her dragon greatsword has a hidden blades masterwork too 

 

 

Reaver... because of mp I started to think about Reaver pt. Maybe even with Phrona?

I was actually thinking about Reaver for a while, but to tell the truth I created Phrona with her becoming Champion in mind. I'm planning one more playthrough (except for ones planned already) so I have saves for two mages, two warriors and two rogues. I think I'll save Reaver for that second warrior playthrough

Reaver is the only class I haven't tried yet.  I just really have a hard time using abilities that flirt with death as their mechanic.  It might be a great challenge.  Mira the necromancer wasn't my favorite build, but at least I managed to use the specialty effectively by the end.  The hardest part was timing the last ditch energy burst to coincide with the last enemy going down so my buddies didn't get stuck with a boss but no support.  Maybe I'll give it a whirl after Elissa.  

 

She just went to Val Royeaux and is going after Jenny's clues.  First, of course, she spent every available copper on schematics....  This is one of my favorite parts of the game, when you're first starting out and exploring all these new areas.  I'm torn who El's going to chase after.  Decisions, decisions....  I might go with Cullen this time so all the warriors get some face time adventuring.

Zoey made Gaspard, Celine and Briala work together.  She outplayed them all, yo.  Killed Sandy Howler, and has plans on taking on the Grey Warden Mess this afternoon.

Tanith finished up everything in the Hinterlands except the dragon area, then headed for the Oasis. She really needs to rescue those soldiers in the Mire but didn't feel like swamping it just yet. Besides, the Oasis is so pretty and, so far, the only baddies in the area are hyenas and spiders.

Same here. She's there post-game.

Just to be sure I opened two saves from completed playthroughs. One where she has Kieran (who had old god soul) and one without Kieran.

Followed the trail of old Ameridan. This wasn't the thrill-filled fight up the river it was intended to be (I'm guessing), since I had pretty much cleared out the entire area doing side-quests beforehand. Pretty tedious following the waypoints, actually, but made up for at the end by the great banter triggered when I decided to climb some tree bridges for hidden loot. Got good comments from Dorian and Sera, wish I had recorded them -- all I remember is laughing.
 
Speaking of hidden loot, anyone else find this little tightrope act?

I love that stuff, kudos to the level designer of the Frostback Basin. Every time I go under something, like a big log or stone arch, I put it on my to-do list to try finding a way over it. What can I say? Explorer play-style is my #1.

Anyway, found the rebel outpost, called in the AT-AT's and gave those rebel fools what for. Did some Dance-Dance Tevinter-style to open some loot doors, lit some green lights, traipsed all over the place again, and finally confronted The Wall. I guess I was supposed have visited it already, based on the banter on the way, but it was the first time I'd seen it.

There were some fools guarding the entrance that were neatly Veilstriked and prepped for Cass and Sera to take out ... but, er, I was alone? My entire party went missing? I reloaded and discovered that the navmesh around the front of the fortress is very, very broken. Sera kept running into a wall and getting stuck in it. Dorian kept running way, way far from the battle, in order to circle some kind of invisible obstacle ... he was half way back to Stone-Bear Hold before I stopped him. Cass would just stand next to a rock and stare at me, unmoving.

I finally had to resort to riding horseback to the melee area. Only way to get everyone in range at the same time. Anyway, killed the fools, fried the ice wall with the Tevinter veilfire phaser beam, and ... still couldn't get through.

It was fun picking off the endless supply of Hakkonite archers up above the wall. Like ducks at a shooting gallery, but got tired of Cass nagging about going back to see the Thane, I mean Jarl, I mean Boss-lady of the Avvar and finally called it quits.

My red hart is broken.  I had it selected as my mount, but when I tried to use it, the game froze. Reloaded, tried again, game froze. Reloaded, moved to another zone, tried again, game froze. Reloaded again, changed the mount to Ferelden Forder, went back to the same zone I was in before, and it worked. Changed mount option again to the Avvar White Elk and it also worked. It's just the red hart that I can't use for some reason.
 
What I was trying to do was take the long way around to get the ungettable loot in Redcliffe. I did finally manage it, but first Tanith made a stop at the castle. It was....eerily empty. Also, not all there.

Goofing off out of the way, Tanith got back to business. She had enough shards to open 2 fire doors and the first door of both cold and spirit at the very out of the way temple. There are still more shards to find in the Oasis, and a couple of rifts to close, but she had to high-tail it back to Haven since her inventory was full.

Rather than go all the way back to the Oasis, Tanith decided she should probably see what those Avvar in the Mire were all about. After fighting off hordes of skeletons and lighting some terror-summoning beacons, she finally found them. Killed the wannabe Korth and then recruited an Avvar named Skywatcher, who seemed much more reasonable than the other guy. While there she also picked about a million blood lotus plants and, of course, killed a bear.

Still unable (or unwilling) to decide between mages or templars, Tanith instead went back to the Hinterlands for her first dragon hunt. The first two attempts didn't go so well. Then she swapped Vivienne for Blackwall and wha-la: dead dragon!

Last time I was at with Ullia I chose to head over to the Storm Coast to bring in qunari forces to help sack the venetori. We met the qunari contact Gatt. He suggested splitting up by having Iron Bull's charges head one way to sack a venetori unti while Ullia, Gatt, Sera, Viviane, and Iron Bull sack the other unit. 

 

 

Both units were sacked...

 

 

But more venetori troops were coming to attack Iron Bull's charges.

 

 

DECISION TIME for the charges.

 

 

Ullia Mint Tooth felt the qunari force was far more important than iron Bull's mercenary group.

 

 

Gatt apologized but was greatful for the fact the qunari ship made it safely.

 

 

Back at Skyhold 

 

 

Sera wanted to lighten everyone mood up by pranking people. Ullia digged the thought in order to raise moral. It worked.

 

 

Afterward Sera and Ullia went to the rooftops and ate cookies. Sera opened up to Ullia Minto Tooth and shared a bit of her past to Ullia. Ullia conversed back by saying she had an interest in her. Sera was taken in by the statement.

 

 

To show how much it meant to her Sera made a hat for Ullia Mint Tooth saying 'Zormanous is stupid'. Ullia Mint Tooth wanted to give her a gift.

 

 

Instead she had Varric give a gift to Cassandra. She couldn't come up with any ideas from her friends other than to shave....When she told Sera about telling Viviane how much Ullia loved Sera...

I haven't hit much of anything else in DAI. I did complete NECROMANCY. He finally talked to the others, which he (or more I) was to tired to do the last time.

 

Sera, Iron Bull 1

Sera was glad that Bruce idn't drink from the Well and called everything lies. Bruce diidn't really agree with what she said, because he grew up with all those Enven tales, but he didn't want to argue with her. People are different and that's okay.

He then talked further with her and she asked him to come out on the roof.

 

 

 

 

 

After he had talked tio Sera, he went to Bull, who had wanted to see him on the battlements.

 

 

Iron Bull 2, Cullen, Cole 1

Some Ben-Hassrath assassins tried to kill Bull, but he quickly threw them over the battlements. Concerned, Bruce had a talk with Bull, about why he didn't inform him about them, but Bull replied that Bruce didn't have the same spy training as Bull. Bruce wasn't happy about that answer.

 

 

 

Still a little grumpy, Bruce went to Cullen, who he found praying in the church.

 

 

 

 

When the night came, Bruce went to the battlements again, for some star-gazing and found Cole, thinking about Corypheus and life & death.

 

 

Cole 2, Cassandra 1

Corypheus not being dead, made Cole wonder if he could've saved the real Cole, but Bruce told him, that he had done everything to help him and that there wasn't anything he could've done to save him.

 

 

 

 

Cole: He said, "Thank you".

 

 

Cole: Thank you.

 

The next day, Bruce searched for Cassandra and found her also on the battlements. (what is it with everyone and the battlements?  )

Cass was worried about the comming fight with Corypheus, but Bruce reassured her that they would win. They then talked about Cass's possiblity of ending as Divine, but Bruce said that he doesn't care as long as they're together. (I will make Leli Divine, idk how, but I will  )

 

 

 

 

 

Judging Samson

Now it was finally time to judge Samson. Bruce had taken some time before judging him, because he wanted to judge him objectively. Which is why he made Samson work together with Cullen, to get inside knowledge of Corpheus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bruce has still to talk with Cullen about Samsons Judgement, but he wanted to wait a little, before he talks to him again.

 

 

Bonus: I played much MP these days and often ended up in the Fade. There I took some great pics and wanted to show them to you.

Went to kill some rogue Templars for Cassandra, only to find out they were not where they were supposed to be.  Maybe they were on a bathroom break?  Went foraging for some lunch?  They certainly were not in their camp.. FUN TIMES!!

 

 

 

Sometimes when you kill some zombies, they don't want to die.. Like this one.  He's dead, but he refuses to go down...

 

 

 

Zoey crafted.  Made two virtually identical staves..she killed the Highland Ravager, quite handily because of this, I might add.

The food is still there but the bodies are just skeletons.. hmmm..

 

Found this broad on the Storm Coast.  One would think wearing a metal bikini in a place named the Storm Coast might not be the wisest of ideas, even disregarding the fact that she got shot full of arrows...

Knowing the Dalish fled Tevinter and why, Elissa was appalled that an elven mage, of all people, would voluntarily exchange one shackle for another.  Especially when Tevinter's shackles are supposed to involve blood magic and elves.
