The Night Is Still Young:
Stealing a Moment/Ending Slides
By the way, I think the game doesn't flag that Morrigan has a son if you have Morrigan's son possess the old god soul. Morrigan didn't leave with her son at the end of the slideshow above and I think that's a problem. Is it normal for both of them to be at Skyhold post-ending?

I had Kieran only with old god's soul a few times and I got him in epilogue sliders once. So I don't think that's a reason. Problem must be somewhere else.
Yes, it's normal for them to be at Skyhold.

The last slide should be that Morrigan left Orlais, so neither she nor Kieran should be there. The last slide should have been a cloaked figure leading a smaller cloaked figure, though. If you saw Kieran in the garden before Doom upon the World, he is free of the old god soul and left with Morrigan. They're there after Arbor Wilds, but not post-game.
I hope this didn't glitch. You might be able to check that it registered, if you can find your current inquisitor's playthrough, in the Keep. Good luck!
Mira's going to go off on her own now, so it's finally time to play with Elissa Lavellan. Attending the conclave was not her idea, but her clan felt she was the best suited to go, so off she went. Now, she's a bit overwhelmed, to say the least.
Waking up and scaring the life out of the first other elf she's seen was not propitious, and this wasn't a good sight to greet her as she emerged. It was like going out to get the paper in bathrobe and bed head and bumping into a sweepstakes award team. Hi! You're on camera!
Meeting Cassandra was reassuring. She didn't seem like she was going to throw Elissa in the stocks.
Elissa's trust evaporated at this moment. Being singled out isn't usually a good thing...
The reaction of the Inquisition support staff to Elissa's Dalish heritage were amusing.
Haven had some lovely views, but the breach looked very threatening.
The hunting was terrible.
Elissa discovered that there are some paths you just can't go down.
Cassandra caught her playing truant and hauled her to the principal's office.
Where Elissa explained her life philosophy.
Elissa had a moment of heart failure when she beheld Pretty Boy Cullen.
Josephine was kind enough to explain how Magdalena was going to be spending the next many hours of gaming. ![]()
The place this would be happening was the Hinterlands, which Varric helpfully opined was the armpit of nowhere. It's absolutely typical that by the time Elissa got there, the troops were already bored. She'd find a way to fix that.
Scout Harding's spunk was inspirational in that regard. She knows how to get a point across.
The time management issue sorted, the happy troops went to get some exercise at the crossroads. Wait, where'd that attack come from?
You're mine.
Problem solved.
All side quests to be received...
A fade rift sealed...
The graffiti at Calenhad's Foothold was admired...
Rogue templars were dispatched. I think Cassandra is enjoying this.
Elissa claimed the Lake Luthias camp, then collected herbs and admired the cabin across the lake.
On arrival back at Haven, surprise, surprise, Chancellor Roderick was frothing at the mouth and had drawn a crowd. Elissa decided that she really wanted to back Cullen up, but lightning struck a tree next to the chantry and she decided to freshen up in her cabin first.
She looks great for a dark reaver inquisitor. loving her story so far. I'm taking a reaver through MP at the moment, and I have to say she's quite deadly. Although having good gear definitely helps. Anyway it's given me a new respect for the reaver spec. I think iron Bull is doing it wrong, heh. I've got an elf warrior PT planned for sometime in the near future myself, and I'm thinking of trying this out for myself.
Bull isn't officially a Reaver compared to Tamar (the Reaver warrior you play in MP).
So far, I've unlocked ring of pain for Alessandra II. Just have to level up and respec to use more abilities in this specialization. I'm building good gear for her. Her dragon greatsword has a hidden blades masterwork too ![]()
Reaver... because of mp I started to think about Reaver pt. Maybe even with Phrona?
Go for it ![]()
Go for it
I was actually thinking about Reaver for a while, but to tell the truth I created Phrona with her becoming Champion in mind. I'm planning one more playthrough (except for ones planned already) so I have saves for two mages, two warriors and two rogues. I think I'll save Reaver for that second warrior playthrough ![]()
Reaver is the only class I haven't tried yet. I just really have a hard time using abilities that flirt with death as their mechanic. It might be a great challenge. Mira the necromancer wasn't my favorite build, but at least I managed to use the specialty effectively by the end. The hardest part was timing the last ditch energy burst to coincide with the last enemy going down so my buddies didn't get stuck with a boss but no support. Maybe I'll give it a whirl after Elissa.
She just went to Val Royeaux and is going after Jenny's clues. First, of course, she spent every available copper on schematics.... This is one of my favorite parts of the game, when you're first starting out and exploring all these new areas. I'm torn who El's going to chase after. Decisions, decisions.... I might go with Cullen this time so all the warriors get some face time adventuring.
Zoey isn't sure that that arrow is pointing the correct way. Also, am I the only person who likes this armor schematic the best? No weapons clipping through it.

Zoey made Gaspard, Celine and Briala work together. She outplayed them all, yo. Killed Sandy Howler, and has plans on taking on the Grey Warden Mess this afternoon.

In all my games, Morrigan (with Kieran if he exists) has been in the garden post-game. Which is really weird if you talk to her, because she still thinks Cory isn't dead yet.
Speaking of weird things, why does the game think a horse is going to fit in my backpack? ![]()

Same here. She's there post-game.
Just to be sure I opened two saves from completed playthroughs. One where she has Kieran (who had old god soul) and one without Kieran.
The one with Kieran - both are still here.
The one without Kieran - she's here.
I seriously don't recall playthrough where she disappeared from Skyhold after final battle.
On a side note - we really need DLC. Aine finally got hairstyle I always imagined her with and now I really want to play with her.
@ Melbella and Rascoth - Yeah, I think my bad. Morrigan's epilogue slide states she's leaving, and depicts a woman and child walking cloaked in the wind, but she's in the garden. Is she still at the war table?

No, she's no longer there.

I don't think she's at the war table after either the dragon mission or the Fade mission but before the finale. She's definitely not there after the final battle. I think we're just supposed to forget about her and not venture out to the garden after the end game. It would be nice if reality matched the slide since there really is no reason for her to be at Skyhold any more once Cory is defeated. But considering past epilogue slides have been completely ignored, why not this time too? ![]()

Yeah, she's there which is weird. I don't play post-ending, and when I do, I only stroll around to see what has changed and I don't think Morrigan was there post-ending.
My red hart is broken.
I had it selected as my mount, but when I tried to use it, the game froze. Reloaded, tried again, game froze. Reloaded, moved to another zone, tried again, game froze. Reloaded again, changed the mount to Ferelden Forder, went back to the same zone I was in before, and it worked. Changed mount option again to the Avvar White Elk and it also worked. It's just the red hart that I can't use for some reason.
What I was trying to do was take the long way around to get the ungettable loot in Redcliffe. I did finally manage it, but first Tanith made a stop at the castle. It was....eerily empty. Also, not all there.
Ullia Mint Tooth's 'crushing' of Iron Bull and Sera and more...

I haven't hit much of anything else in DAI. I did complete NECROMANCY. I will start it up at some point but not when I ding. i am going to get the team work attack so that way comboing would do nasty damage and help build my focus super quick. again i wanted to edit the one picture a tad so I don't get any warnings for posting a 'adult oriented picture on a company website' or whatever. I do have it uncut BTW and the vid though.
Lila Hawke
The Arishok requested audience with her by name according to the Viscount
She's really getting sick of all these folks wanting her to save them but whatever let's talk to the Qunari
Guess what Hawke? Someone stole from us but they didn't steal what they thought it was. You might want to find them and settle up
Hey Coterie person, you're selling the stuff of the guy I need to find
He's out in the wilds. Happy hunting!
Spiders and Carta, what fun this cave is!
And look, mercernaries too!
Hey Javaris you jerk what the hell happened?!?!
It was the elf I tell you now let me go.
Yeah no I don't think so...murder knife.
Cue Fenris and head shaking behind Hawke
What? He annoyed me. [Fenris Greatly Disapproves; no rivalry points cause they don't roll like that]
Well let's go find this elf he mentioned
Wait what's all this green stuff in Lowtown?
Quick find the latches!
Stop almost dying Merrill and kill these idiots!
Alright barrels are closed...wait who are you?
Why can't I ever meet normal folks? Well have a fist of the maker and let's do this!
Pew pew pew, stab stab stab, bash bash bash
Well Aveline we did the job your guards should have done. Bodahn will drop off a statement by your office later for payment
Soo, some updates from Bruce.
He finally talked to the others, which he (or more I) was to tired to do the last time.
Bonus: I played much MP these days and often ended up in the Fade. There I took some great pics and wanted to show them to you.
Note: I took the following three pics in the Fade, but I tweaked them a little in photoshop with Auto Color Correction, Auto Smart Fix and Auto Sharpen, to get natural colors without the green hue of the Fade.
Went to kill some rogue Templars for Cassandra, only to find out they were not where they were supposed to be. Maybe they were on a bathroom break? Went foraging for some lunch? They certainly were not in their camp.. FUN TIMES!!

Sometimes when you kill some zombies, they don't want to die.. Like this one. He's dead, but he refuses to go down...

Zoey crafted. Made two virtually identical staves..she killed the Highland Ravager, quite handily because of this, I might add.

She found these poor sods in the Emprise:

The food is still there but the bodies are just skeletons.. hmmm..
Found this broad on the Storm Coast. One would think wearing a metal bikini in a place named the Storm Coast might not be the wisest of ideas, even disregarding the fact that she got shot full of arrows...

That's all for now! ![]()
Elissa's been working her way toward Redcliffe, and has proved her Dalish heritage. See how she cleverly spotted the gang sneaking up on her?
I don't remember the widower having a special line when I played my elf. Must have been not paying attention.
Knowing the Dalish fled Tevinter and why, Elissa was appalled that an elven mage, of all people, would voluntarily exchange one shackle for another. Especially when Tevinter's shackles are supposed to involve blood magic and elves.
Meeting Dorian was a concern, too. The Tevinter is standing at a rift, asking her to close it for him?
Hardly awe-inspiring. We shall see....
Cue Fenris and head shaking behind Hawke

LOL...I have a feeling Fenris shakes his head at a lot of Hawke's antics. ![]()
(I will make Leli Divine, idk how, but I will
)
Psst.....time magic.... ![]()
