I won the RNG lottery at the Oasis temple and landed a T3 battlemage coat schematic.

You know that cave in the Storm Coast, where you go up a ladder and get hit by spiders, then the party gets lost and you have to solo the rest of the top floor?  Guess what was waiting for Elissa when she rounded the corner, sans party.  The dots on the compass indicate the party is present.  It lies.  They are just behind a wall, same as they were for the 2 spiders she just got done fighting.

They finally found the fight by the end.

At least it dropped 2 hide.

 

 

Then, it was off to close that last rift, and surprise a dragon and giant having a disagreement.  Bull was happy about it.

She tried to get in as close as she could, but the giant was finished and the dragon looked a little too interested in Elissa.

Oh yeah, I know that too well.  I ordered four of them on the site of a German book store (because buying them in Switzerland would've been too expensive), I only bought/ordered The Calling on a Swiss site, cause they only had it as audio book on the other site. (and it would've cost 4 times as much as the book itself  )

I got this close in my 2H warrior Cadash PT. At one point, Vinsomer leaped backwards away from the giant, and landed just on the other side of that boat. Her tail would have hit me if I was directly behind the boat ... fun to watch that fight from there, though.

You know what's worse than the ladder on the Storm Coast? The ladder in the Western Approach when you're on your way towards Coracavus. First they don't follow you up, and when you decide to control everyone of them to get them up there, they don't listen to the "Hold" comand and follow you down, as soon as you change the chara.   

 

Awesome screenies   bought Spoils of the Qunari too, but I don't know who should wear them yet. (I know my next fem!Lavellan will so rock the light armor   )

Great pics, Rascoth!  You're getting really good at the CC.  She looks seriously BA.  I'm so jelly.  I've got to wait on the Avaar and Qunari armors, and while the body paint doesn't thrill me (except if it works on Blackwall,) that Qunari armor looks very tempting.

 

Magdalena's RP day hasn't gone as planned.  Too much sitting around in the sun waiting to be told the other half's traffic ticket isn't ready to be sorted out yet.  He is the sweetest, most adorable man in the world, but he has no concept of time when it comes to doing things like getting the car inspected.  Now we get to sort that mess out (again.)  Back in a couple months.  It's just a fundraiser around here anyway.  They'll let you drive around with your windshield held in place with duct tape and, believe it or not, in this state, just about the only thing they actually fail anyone on is exhaust emissions.  It's so ironic, because the state is crisscrossed with interstates and trucks spewing all kinds of black smoke into the air and jake-braking going down hills into town.  The cops actually give cars tickets for it.  Probably because the truckers would pound them into the pavement if they tried anything.

 

Oh well, another afternoon shot in the butt.  I think I'm still looking for that cabin.

OMG THAT CAVE IS THE WORST!!.  As Cassandra would say it can "die in the void".

 

I almost always bring my LI with unless I have some kind of quest related reason that I have to swap them out.  Like, if I have to take Cass to Caer Oswin and I don't generally like a two warrior set up, I'll let him sit it out in the bar.  But I feel bad about it (!).  Conversely, when I played DA2 and was actively trying to romance Fenris I would never take him anywhere since he was so damn twitchy about anything magey.  His romance was always a pain in the arse to trigger. 

 

Zoey killed Cory this afternoon.  Twas an easy battle.  Even though Cory was level 23, it was just not a challenge.  Sera went off on his dragon with thousand cuts  (with level 3 focus) and it died in maybe 5 seconds.  Solas had the sads that his orb was destroyed, and then left.  Iron Bull gave Zoey a hickey, because apparently his inner 15 year old is strong.

 

Now there is an empty hollow feeling in me, since it's just not the same to play post winning.  I need to get JoH.  But being underemployed doesn't allow for me to get it right now - all my spare money goes to necessities.  I have a DAO mage PT I need to get back to.  Or.. (and don't hate me)  I might cleanse the palate with some Assassin's Creed.  There is something that always draws me back to Renaissance Italy..

Same problem here with the spider cave; also in a cave during my most recent trip to the Oasis. I think they do it on purpose.

 

Re: your pic: she looks like a genie in those pants.  I can't get Barbara Eden out of my head now!

Mods are nice, until the next patch.  I think mine are probably broken again since before the new DLC was showing up in Origin I did a game update and it downloaded a 200mb something or other.

Is Spoils of the Qunari good? Spoils of the Avvar was quite disappointing, and I reckon this one will be too.

It's worse than I thought....not only are my mods broken, but so is the game. I can't even get it to launch now.  Doing another repair install to see if it fixes whatever the issue is. OMG.....I swear it is always ****** something.

Made it through another day.  Nothing exciting or noteworthy.  Just still here.

I haven't been here in ages... 

I'm in the middle of two playthroughs, one is an Inquisition playthrough with very direct female Lavellan who claims to be the Herald of Andraste just because it will be good for the Inquisition and another one is a DA2 playthough with an aggressive male Hakwe. I like him a lot. I felt my female purple Hawke was too naive and people kept taking advantage of her. At least my aggressive Hawke gets more money out of things. 

Others think he's kind of mean, too. He helps mages, but only if Fenris is in the party and Anders isn't. He'll say stuff that gets misinterpreted by his squad (for example: saying "Slaves are useful"... he meant people who were made slaves are not to be discarded, okay!!! He's just not good at expressing his feelings...), then does something nice when they're not looking. This means he's now a rival to Fenris and Anders.

This Male Hawke was able to start a romance with Fenris (for some reason I couldn't trigger it with my Female Hawke). It's amazing how much better I like Fenris now that I did the rivalry approach. 

 

However, Hawke left Fenris because when you tell him no once, he will take that for an answer. He's not here for people who hesitate, sorry. So now he ended up with Anders, who had been fawning over him (despite being angry at some things Hawke had said).

I don't know why Anders thought one night of love meant Hawke was inviting him to live at the estate, but it's okay, Anders, you can come. My Hawkes, no matter the gender, have a thing for Anders after all.

Oh, and I felt terrible for Karl this time, now after playing Inquisition, more than ever. Anders could maybe have cured him... Oh, my heart...

I will try to update my gangster playthrough later. I have a bad habit of playing faster than I can post.

I don't know what that 200mb update was for, but I deleted it and put back the last patch. I was then able to re-install my mods and load up my current save.  Whew! I didn't want to have to go back 30 hrs game time....that would have been awful. Good news is I still have the Qunari armors and schematics in my special shipments, so the update wasn't necessary for them. No idea what it was for other than to break my game.

 

That's it....no more secret updates until I'm done with this PT.
