Andraste's ****** - 2 pages in and I'm not even on here yet! Remedied. :D

Waiting till my girly squid levels up before I go off dragon hunting. (Really don't like being made to fight Mabari (remembering my Mo' from DAO sniff))).

My mage is now using dispel which I love because it works. Revival however, bit difficult to use if you can't find the bugger that needs reviving. :(

Harold the hidden hunter - anyone know where he is? Swear sometimes this game is like 'where's Wally'.

Happy to have this thread back again Spork - it was/is my favourite.

My little elf mage figured out the Dead Hand puzzle in the Exalted Plains all by herself  ^_^ ...*ahem* well, with a little help from Cassandra, Sera, and Solas for the parts where many switches had to be activated fast. Normally I don't go in for these kinda puzzles in Bio games stupid Tower of Hanoi in ME and barrels in DA2 but this one was kinda cool, maybe because the game still looks so damn shiny. It was a little more difficult to figure out than past games' puzzles because the room was pretty dark, and there were pillars in the way of everything, and no internal map to look at grumble grumble...  Anyway, yay for trial and error ;)

When it was over and we exited the dungeon, we came out into the open air practically on top of the rogue templar Cassandra wanted to dispatch, so we did that too. Now she gets a well-earned rest and we'll put Blackwall to work. I may respec him back into a S&S warrior first, though. He uses up way too many health potions as a 2H warrior.

I enjoyed that puzzle! I am not always a big fan of them, but that was one that felt tricky but natural to figure out.

Deepest apologies to everyone who posted in this thread before. I was trying to hide a double post, and managed to hide the whole topic by mistake.

I'm at work and on my phone right now, so I'll see what I can do about recovering the old thread later when I get home.

Sorry everyone.

For doing that. I expect you to give me 100 pushups or 100 likes. Your choice. Hahahahaha. There is a third choice. Get rid of the phone or never use it again when trying to post stuff. Again, hahahahaha

Now to my playthrough

My nightmare playthrough is turning into "how easy can this be" playthrough. Spent a couple of hours crafting weapons and armor for myself and companions.

Did all quests in the Western Approach.

Decided to meet Loghain and Hawke. Fought demons and Grey Wardens at Adamant. Met the "Archdemon". It says hi. Ended up in the fade. Fought the Nightmare. Yeah right. More like a jokemare. I left Loghain behind. Surprised he didn't say anything about his daughter Anora before fighting the ugly. Of course Hawke has to go to wherever to warn the Grey Wardens instead of helping me fight Corypheus.

Sitting at my judgement chair, I have to determine the fate of Ser Ruth. Too bad she couldn't be made a companion. It would be nice to have at least one person brought before me that I could make a companion.

Natural to figure out. Thank you. I was looking for a good way to describe it.  :)

I tried to romance Cullen as a female Qunari and he let me down easy. It's weird though because the Camera was fixed on my characters chest the whole time. It was like Cullen was having a conversation with her giant Qunari boobs.

Weird.

Oh, and I killed Alexius and Sera approved...

Spent an hour or so trying to solve the puzzle in the Dead Hand tomb in Exalted Plains. Inquisitor (read: I) was starting to get annoyed, so decided to come back at a later date and actually bring along the one companion who might know how the heck these elven contraptions work (sorry for neglecting you, Solas!)

Finally did Vivienne's personal quest. She seems to really like my Inquisitor now. Not a bad outcome considering the fact they loathed each other at first. (But Viv, even though my quizzy likes you, your silk-clad posterior will be warming the bench back in Skyhold if you don't stop picking on her love interest.)

Speaking of which, crafted some new armour for Blackwall with cream and purple accents. Wasn't my first choice of colour combinations but he owns it. Might even borrow the Orlesian mage hat Viv's currently wearing to complete the look.

Did Leliana's personal quest and was so disheartened by the outcome that I've decided to take a break until tomorrow.

Weird.

That's where you need a renegade interrupt to say, "Eyes are over here and up here..." ...works best if your inquisitor is voiced by Alix Wilton Regan, though ;)

Just like in the Citadel dlc if Samantha isn't romanced.

Exactly.  :D

yeah, I've had Skyhold for about 20 gameplay hours and I still get lost trying to find Cullen's room, or getting out of the garden. I can feel Mother Giselle smirking at me. Makes me want to turn around and say, Well I never see you anywhere else, either."

I'm over 100 hours on my third playthrough and still get lost at Skyhold.

Inquisitor fell of a cliff, he went "splat!". It was all very onomatopoeic. <_<

So have I. Right when I finally was able to track down everyone in Haven, the game throws everything out of wack by sending us to skyhold. Then skyhokd changes as you progress mixing up characters even more. It seriously took me a good 10 minutes to find Cullen.

Aww... I'm getting pretty good at running around Skyhold, wrong turns are becoming a rarity, including bunch of shortcuts for getting around faster. Mostly those consist of falling down, too bad we don't have high jumps or double jumps

I wonder if people are aware of their own "wine cellar" and the room filled with books and cobwebs that looks like someone like Dumbledore lived there a long time ago :P

So! A trick of getting to Cullen's room from anywhere ^_^ Which was very important to Ivy since we romanced Cullen, so we figured it out :wizard:

Teleport to Leliana. Then go out on her little balcony (there's a door on her level leading outside). You will see a battlement-bridgy thingy almost directly beneath you. Jump on it. Don't worry, you will take no damage. Jump! Done? Now run forward. Cullen is in the tower in front of you

Skyhold is an OSHA nightmare. Leaving aside death-from-above falls, I always run off the side of the main ramp leading to the hall. Why the damn thing has a turn in the middle, I don't know.

Solas' room has three doors! That's two too many :D Plus, to do this you need to find Solas' room first haha  :D
