Sorry if this has already been suggested (still catching up with thread ). If you have JoH, then there is a cloth that gives Dexterity for the Utility. Avvar Cotton grants you Dex, and is the most common cloth drop in JoH (at least for me). I haven't bought the Spoilers of Qunari (waiting for fixes....if they come ), and so I don't know what values each of the slots have in the schematics. But being able to get both the cloth and leather slots dedicated to Rogue appropriate Utilities, could make this outfit quite Rogue friendly. Granted, not a big gain from the metal slot, but if you are looking for better Guard Damage Bonus (*shrug), you could add a Strength Utility, or just go for straight Constitution.

Anyway, just thought I would toss that out, if interested....and if no one already mentioned this.

Yes I did seem to recall a cross-class material like that in JoH, but I couldn't remember which it was... Aidan will be doing that next once he's finished in the Hissing Wastes so maybe we'll see...

All of us gather together to figure a way to convince The Turtles to jopin us in closing the giant rift. The big concern is the leader, Lord Lollipop, Carrottop says to forget about him and focus on the gangmembers themselves. That sounds reasonable. Diplomat will have a number of nobles show up to support us that way we mean business. Scarface likes the idea. I have bad feeling hearing that. That devilish smile just smells of bad things to come. Hmm. Do I ever wish this was a very bad nightmare. Scarface sends me, Sniper, Blocker and Fashioner to talk with the Turtles
 
Lots of nobles stand ready at my side. That Diplomat is very good at her job. It's surprising the Lord Lollipop isn't here to greet us. Blocker tells me to keep an eye out. Something is very wrong. A Turtle greets us and takes to his leader.

This isn't the leader. And why are the other Turtles look very sickly like. Oh crap. They want to kill us. Fashioner twirls around slicing one while moving me out of the way. I need to get my head on straight. Use shield and sword.

What is going on? It appears their drug dealer has poisoned their dope. Now we have to fight our way through. What the heck? There...there turning into red looking....things. And fire some type of dart thing out of their hand. Fine. You want to fight dirty. I can fight dirty. Lets go dollface. Ha ha. Take that freaks. Sniper gives me a nice compliment and winks at me. She still scares me.

What..is...going... Where I'm I? What is this place? Who is that talking? Now I see. A demon. I watch it have fun doing its childish little things. It thinks I'm trying to be difficult. If it went through what I've been through, it would be difficult too. Demons are really stupid.

Who's that with the big hat? He or it tells me to head up. Head up? Ok, I think. Where's Scarface when I need her? I just did not say that? I'm so pathetic. This would be a bad time to wet myself. I need to focus. Head up. Keep going up. It seems to upset the demon. Good.

And the demon shows itself. It was impersonating Lord Lollipop. That explains a lot. Its an Envy demon. It will be a dead demon shortly. A Turtle tells me I need to get a few more Turtles to stop the demon. Fine.

We fight more of the freaks. We end up in a room. A note is stuck to a bust of the...Empress? The Elder One, whoever that is, wants her dead. What is going on? With everyone collected, we go deal with the demon.

That is one ugly looking demon. I bet having 4 arms comes in handy. The thing is dead. Good.

The Turtles want to know what I will do with them. I was told to get them to help close the giant rift and that's what I'll do. Lets get back to base

Charmer: The Victors took control of the Mudders headed by, Crapper. She works with the Elder One. Apparently he is upset you took the Turtles from him
Scarface: Ok. Head indoors Charmer. Dollface? You , Fashioner, Blocker and Sniper fight off the enemy. I get some folks to use the slingshots to slow them down. Lets go.

We fight the enemy. There tough, but we're tougher. I also realized I'm getting better and better. I'm not struggling like I did when all this started. You know what's funny? Watching Lurch kill the enemy and then placing the body on the sling shot and fire it back at the enemy. Classic.

Oh crap. A dragon. Now. That's just not fair. Head back to the building. We help any survivors we can find.

Scarface asks if anyone has any ideas. A maid walks up to her and tells Scarface about a secret passage that can be used. Apparently this passage was around long before Scarface knew about it. She thanks the maid. She tells me I need to draw the dragon away so that everyone can escape. But I will be killed. I'm at the bottom of the totem pole, so I get to be killed. Swell. Its been fun everyone.

As I turn the slingshot around, a loud explosion can be heard. Who or what is that?

I think I'll wait before buying spoils of the Qunari. Maybe they will have fixed all the bad bugs by the time the story dlc is released? Seems crazy that it's a Qunari dlc, yet the qunari characters have weird neck seam problems, colour problems, tinting problems etc.

How funny...TME was my least favorite of the 5.

It took me forever to get through and by the end I wanted to strangle everyone except that elf guy who died anyway.  Hated Briala, hated Celene, hated Gaspard, thought Michel was the biggest idiot ever. Briala in the game is a big-a$$ liar who conveniently forgets to mention that she is the reason the civil war has dragged on for so long. I hate having to give her credit for anything in order to get her and Celene back together. Not that I actually like that option but the result ends up, imo, better than just Celene by herself.

Mage-quisition has made it to Crestwood (after a long detour through the Exalted Plains trolling for Venatori tomes) and is about to drain the lake. Will try to post a few pictures tomorrow. Today has just been too rough in the computer issues dept.

Oh, you just perfectly summed up TME for me! I hate all the major players. My most satisfying ending for WEWH is forcing all three to work together... because they all hate it.  Who needs stability in Orlais anyway?

I notice Michel conveniently forgets to mention why Imshael is running around free as a bird in DAI.

Time for Champions of the Just! I love this quest. I wasn't aware that dialogue there could be different depending on character (except for race, that one I remembered). Like your choice during flag ritual affects Envy's lines. Or that mages and non-mages say something different about Cole. But back to Phrona...

 

After finishing some addictional quests in Hinterlands, Phrona & Co. returned to Haven. It was time to contact templars. They gathered at Therinfal Redoubt. Something was not right, but no matter possible dangers - Inquisition needed allies. So Phrona with small team (Solas, Varric and Cassandra) left to meet with Lord Seeker.

Nobles are definitely not Phrona's favourite group.

Party and their noble allies were greeted by Ser Barris. Even Solas was impresed how reasonable that templar was. 

Phrona was asked to perform flag ritual. She did it.

Before meeting with Lord Seeker there was time to check courtyard.

It turned out that the one meeting them was Knight-Captain. Phrona realised something was not right the second she saw him. She tried to warn Lord Abernache, but he didn't listen... When the fight with Red Templars started Lord Abernache was already dead.

Phrona on the other hand was piercing one enemy after the other.

If not for crazy Red Templars, Therinfal Redoubt would be good place for outpost.

After returning to Haven Phrona allowed Cole to stay. He was weird, but that was Phrona's last concern. Her comany was already weird. Talking with companions showed that their feelings about alliance were different. To relax Phrona decided to follow mysterious notes she got in Val Royeaux.

That guy was even stranger that everything that happened in Therinfal Redoubt.

Seen some pretty amazing mods, and some equally amazing glitches, dealt with hardware issues, dealt with finding time to play. Visited old friends in Kirkwall, visited old friends during the time of the last blight, met some of the Inquisition's multitude of agents and experienced how they furthered the Herald's cause, and even recruited a pirate queen  
 
Through it all, you guys and gals have been here, describing those adventures in wonderful ways, through text and screenshots, and even through video. It's been amazing to share, and awesome to be a part of. Today we hit 300 pages. There is a joke in there somewhere about Sparta, but i'm just going to say thank you for being here and continued happy adventuring

S: I'm sorry. Their deaths have clearly hit you hard.

 

L: Not just me. All of us. They were the followers. They led the faithful... They were their heart. If Athame doesn't intervene to save the best of Her servants, what good is She? I used to believe I was chosen, just as some say you are. I thought I was fulfilling Her purpose for me, digging for prothean ruins, helping people. But now they're dead. It was all for nothing. Serving Athame meant nothing.

Wait...Don't you mean Samara as opposed to Liara? I know Samara is heavily religious. I don't remember to much about Liara saying anything like that in ME 3 in Thessia....I guess i need to reread or replay...

I thought it would make a bit more sense since Samara isn't with the Normandy post-Thessia. Lol, like I said, it wasn't supposed to make perfect sense. Samara would have matched the role, but since Liara was more devastated by it I thought she would fit the role of Leliana better.

As I watch the blacksmith craft me new armor, I thought about what Scarface said. There is no way I could lead the gang even if its just for show. She leads with brute force. She snaps her fingers and a village could be wiped out. But now I'm curious what this task is that I need to do. I got bad vibes about this. She might be buttering me up before she plunges her sword in me. Hold on now. I'm getting paranoid. Lets get back to Scarface.

The job was just for one guy to be killed, but he wanted everyone killed. He killed a few members before we could tie him up. He was locked in prison and the key thrown away. Years later, a group of people broke him out of jail.
Champion: Until a group known as the Grey Walnuts needed me to help kill him since he became possessed by a demon darkspawn. He was as dead as dead can be.
Scarface: He must be after me since I'm the leader. That's enough details. What information do you have Champion?
Champion: I have a Grey Walnut friend named Studebaker that may know where the rest of the Walnuts are and possibly lead to the whereabouts of Lavaface. I will meet you in Crestwood

Scarface: Before you meet Champion, you must complete a task to continue to have the name Handler. There is a dragon near Redcliffe that needs to be dealt with. You will not have help. Have confidence in yourself and skill. That is why I sent you to the blacksmith. If you're wondering, I have killed a dragon on my own. It was about 2 years before I became leader of this gang.

Scarface: Good attitude. Blocker, Sniper and Fashioner? Follow her and watch the fight. Bring her body back if she fails.

What the heck have I gotten myself into now? Me fight a dragon? At least I'll die with style. As I near the area, I feel the sweat running down my back and legs. There it is.

So yeah... That big hole in the back of Bull's neck with the new Heavy Armour is too much. I tried hiding it behind a big shield (Yes I have him specced as sword/board. Sue me.) but it was still too obvious. I do hope they fix it soon.

 

On the other hand, I am beginning to solidify my Qunari Mage in my mind. I thought that he should have an Arabic name as that seems to be a lot of the inspiration for the Qunari... After having a look at this list I decided to go for Imtiyaz because apparently it means "Mark of distinction or excellence" which tickled me, given the anchor... Being a Qunari apostate he's obviously going to have no love for Templars so he's going to ally with the mages. He'll also have Tim Curry's voice. This will mean that I've made all the different mage/templar choices, played all the races and used all the VAs. I'm also pretty sure that he'll be a Knight Enchanter, as if anyone is built to be a melee mage it's a Qunari. I thought of making him tonight but I realised that I need to make a different Keep state first, and it's getting late so I'm off to bed.

 

I really ought to at least finish Aidan's playthrough, and I also have Solvi the female dwarven warrior who has only just made it to Skyhold, but I've got the urge to make Imtiyaz...

I wonder if I can get Leliana to be Divine if I did Champions of the Just instead of In Hushed Whispers? I disbanded the Templars with my female Lavellan. Pretty much everyone freaked out. Very funny.

 

I haven't read any of the DA novels. I was interested in The Masked Empire because of WEWH, and because I liked Michel de Chevin, but now I read Melbella's post, I kind of want to stay away from it  XD

SporkFu, wanting to punch Anders is understandable, it was my reaction the first time I played, but I have changed my mind since XD This Hawke and Anders will be fugitives together. Hawke will think of something. He will also try not to kill Fenris, like my Female Hawke had to do... so many people died during my Female Hawke playthrough that I didn't blame her for being serious in Inquisition. It was horrible.

Ring of pain is kinda meh, but devour has a cool animation where she thrusts her hand into an enemy's chest and rips out their heart. Can't wait to unlock dragon rage and the rampage focus ability to see those animations. So deliciously violent...

 

I also played a bit of my Rift Mage lady Inquisitor, Demetria. Just closed a few leftover rifts in the Western Approach. When she talked to Krem at Skyhold's tavern, he's like, "You and the chief, huh? Good to know. Hope the big idiot makes you happy." She's grown fond of Bull's Chargers and Krem. If they ever get married, Krem will obviously be Bull's best man

I know tho I was talking about Bull's missing neckline, which he shares with my DA2 Arishok pic. (idk my DA2 game was so glitchy, nearly in every cutscene someone was missing some limbs. Fenris was mostly just a flying head.)

Oh, you just perfectly summed up TME for me! I hate all the major players. My most satisfying ending for WEWH is forcing all three to work together... because they all hate it.  Who needs stability in Orlais anyway?
I notice Michel conveniently forgets to mention why Imshael is running around free as a bird in DAI.

I haven't read any of the DA novels. I was interested in The Masked Empire because of WEWH, and because I liked Michel de Chevin, but now I read Melbella's post, I kind of want to stay away from it  XD

Oh no! Don't let me dissuade you. I just didn't care for the Orlesian politics bits, which took up about 2/3 of the book. If you like Michel, you will definitely get your fill in TME.

 

SporkFu, wanting to punch Anders is understandable, it was my reaction the first time I played, but I have changed my mind since XD This Hawke and Anders will be fugitives together. Hawke will think of something. He will also try not to kill Fenris, like my Female Hawke had to do... so many people died during my Female Hawke playthrough that I didn't blame her for being serious in Inquisition. It was horrible.

 

Oh, poor Fenris again.  I could never kill him.
