Needed some dorfs in my life so I decided to create the siblings of my favorite Inquisitor, Alcina Cadash.
Renrik, Doudrin, and Ferinda Cadash walked out of the Fade last night. Doudrin is the only one that will be played to completion though for a PS4 trophy.
I've been just playing around in the CC myself lately, to see what i could come up with. Made a new lavellan for Solas romance PT, a new Cadash for Dorian romance PT, and a new Trevelyan for Cullen romance PT... so now it's like, i don't have to spend any more time in the CC
Good to know. I played one lady Lavellan Mage once, but I deleted her after finishing some of the Hinterlands quests. I didn't like how she looked, but at least it was interesting to see her flirt and build a relationship with Solas. Most of my Inquisitors are Trevelyans, because of the extra skill point perk.
If reaver wasn't such an absolute beast in MP -- admittedly a good sword helps
-- I probably never would have played a reaver in SP, but I've been inspired to try it. SnS instead of 2H will be a bit different though.
Okay, with my Rift Mage run completed, I'm ready for my next PT! Let's check my "Ain't never done" list.
- Never played as a warrior
- Never played 2H
- Never played as a Qunari
- Never did a speedrun without glitching - goal would be to finish under 15 hours
- Never did a Nightmare run without crafting any gear (only potions and grenades)
- Never romanced Dorian
- Never did a world state where Loghain becomes a warden
So whaddya think? Does a male Qunari 2H Champion Nightmare clean speedrun with Dorian for dessert sound like a good idea? Technically, for the sake of the speedrun, I'll skip the Dorian quests and complete the main quest first, then go back to a mid-game save and do the Dorian romance. Two birds with one stone kind of deal.
2H warrior is a blast. I thoroughly enjoyed just wading in and slashing away at bad guys. When I played a mage or an archer and a fight began, Cassie/Blackwall/Bull would run toward the bad guys, challenging and warcrying and taunting and all that, and by the time they reached melee range, I'd have killed the bad guys already. I headcanoned getting lots of dirty looks from them all the time
... anyway, playing as a warrior the shoe is on the other foot, and mage + Varric/Sera often killed all the bad guys before I could get to them. I LOL'ed when that happened... and took Cole everywhere instead
Playing as a qun'ari gives a fun perspective on things. I really got a kick out of everyone having to look up at her when they talked. The Winter Palace sure made me want to crack some orlesian skulls though
Just sayin'
I really really liked the Inquisition version of Loghain. Best warden choice out of the three in my opinion (sorry gottaloveme
)
