I have to correct myself, I DID take a picture of "Sidony" in the Garden!

Mage-quisition in the Exalted Plains. And then there were 3....
With Solas off doing whatever it was he had to do, Tanith, Vivienne and Dorian continued on until they found the Dalish camp. One of the hunters was interested in joining the Inquisition (how he had even heard about it, Tanith had no clue) but the Keeper was being a stick in the mud and said no.
Many of the clan members did have favors they wanted, so Tanith decided to help them out as best she could.
Love all those pics, but particularly those of the Darkspawn when the battle is about to be joined. Some good screens in thereLegend of Rys
Chapter 6 - Ostagar Nights - Part 1

Heh, gotcha. Haven't played much today, but I did start wandering the Hinterlands a bit on my way to find Mother Giselle. Now, Varric, Solas, Cassandra and Cirwen took down a Pride Demon at the Temple. Granted, it took a couple tries and all their potions, and Cirwen was the only one left standing, and barely standing at that, but they did it. How is it that one single templar with a shiled can take them all to 1/3 health and make them use half their health potions? One.Nonono....we are trying to
panicprepare you for the bears, and other fun things to come.
I just met the woman I thought was Sidony in the Garden. I think she's either just a look-a-like, or Sidony in her default armor, which would be weird, if the Sidony next to Cullen wears her best armor. (Ugh, and again I forgot to take a picture
)
Yeah I think that woman in the garden isn't Sidony, only because it seems all the agents are wearing their best armor when you see them in Skyhold. And Sidony's best gear is different from what that womnona in the pic is wearing. It's the same with that elf in ancient armor out in the courtyard. Too bad, it would have been cool if the garden was another spawn point for the agents.I have to correct myself, I DID take a picture of "Sidony" in the Garden!
When I had Bull decked out in Plaidweave pants, the only armor bits he had on were leg and shoulder guards. I think I tinted them with boring old obsidian. I was tinting everything with ObsidianApropos Pleadweave, I just saw Bull wears pants made of it. that + pink armor looks great. xD

While the puzzles here are annoying, they wouldn't be half so bad if the mechanic that is required to do them actually worked worth a darn. Where is your QC people??! I kept trying to do the one where you have to light the 3 lamps and every time I'd turn around, the person I just told to "hold" would be right behind the person I just moved to.Finally got it but geez....so irritating.
Very funny!
And you know what's funnier? I loaded up my game a few minutes ago only to find I had Sera with me instead of Cole.
![]()
Also made a new qunari male character. I don't think he's as pretty as Imtiyaz or Marcus
but he's not too bad.

Spoiler
He's duel wield rogue, and I set the difficulty to NM for starters. We'll see if it lasts. I named him Tal-eb'saam, which is a poor translation attempt at "something inevitable," based on the qunari phrases I found in WoT2.
Sera instead of Cole, hmm... Well, give Sera the hiccups then, put Vivienne on the floor plate, and task Dorian with keeping her in one place ![]()
Oh I like Tal... can I call him Tal?
Snow White recruited mages as allies, so the first thing she did after moving to Skyhold was to redecorate it a bit:
Then she took a Tour-de-Skyhold and discovered few interesting places.
And in the end she played Mario climbed the roofs a bit...
You're welcome
I don't know about you, but I love the Hat of the Inquisitor (at least for Dorian) you can even craft it.
Oh, yes! Thank you very muchly! *hugs*

,... Also is Loghain's appearance modded? He looks...different?
Yes. By now 99% of my game is modded. The only thing not modded is probably the pre-rendered movies ![]()
Hm... I know exactly where to send them, when Dorian or Vivienne start complaining about lack of books.
Would love to be able to do that ![]()

Ahh, gotcha. That's why Loghain looked like his old self when he ordered the retreat. (Sidenote: Ser Cauthrien
) ... Do you run the game through Origin?

Thanks.
I was actually thinking of having him go by Sam since the full name is quite a mouth...er, handful to type. But Tal works too. ![]()

Yeah, they probably just reused her default model for a random NPC. (there are so many twins walking around in Thedas) Tho the elf in the courtyard is probably just one of the Elf Sentinels which decided to acompany you after WPHW asked Cillian if he could teach him.
Okay, I decided to post everyones current armor here (with exceptions of Bruce and Sera, cause I already posted them)

I've been battling demons of minutiae, but somehow managed to have a really fun DA day yesterday.
After their dance at the Winter Palace, Elissa decided that she and Cullen needed to talk about their relationship. The resulting screens are pretty much the same for everyone, no need to share..... ![]()
Cullen can't gamble, though. Don't look at me to bail you out, dude. I've still got my shirt.
Elissa saved up enough coin to buy the sturdy prowler coat at BE. Not the top of the line, but it's really good Tier 3 and it'll see her until she gets the look she likes at the HW merchant's. It looks the same as the old one. Some compromises did have to be made, since going back for one more material was really just too much shopping for her, but it'll see her through until something better. That meant nice armor for Sera, at least (it's her turn for the hand-me-downs.)
We went off to suppress the Venatori in the Western Approach, but got sidetracked by Frederic. He's so charming. And, there's a dragon to kill! Party change!
I always vow not to take a million screens of the same battle, and I always do. This time, a couple things drew my fascination. First, there's the landing. She does it on purpose. Always, right on top of the inquisitor.
Don't you love how everyone's just hanging around twiddling their thumbs as the dragon flies up?
With this one, The speckled pattern on the wings drew me. In The Calling, Maric fights the dragon in the caves off the deep roads, and they're glowing with lichen. The deepstalkers were covered in the spores. Sort of the same thing, which is really cool. I did check out the dwarf tomb the dragon revealed, but no lichen, so there went that theory. It's funny the things running through your head when a dragon is about to land on you.
Yep, it's definitely deliberate.
Why so defensive, big girl?
That was when I went a little nuts with the tactical camera. Got some amazing closeups.
I never knew what a flask looks like when it gets used.
Time to set loose the bees!
Sometimes, key changes are highlighted for a frame or so.
Not looking promising for Blackwall....
Trying to decide who landed the killing blow isn't easy sometimes. Photo finish says it was a tie between Inq and Viv.
Of course, I chronicled the last moments of an endangered species.
That was the moment I remembered a very important lesson. Don't become so caught up in capturing the moment that you become a permanent part of it.
Luckily, this is a fantasy game and I still got what I came for.
Elissa played around in the tomb for a while, soaking in the cool air and getting out of the sun, then decided to give Frederic the good news and a job offer.
I went thu all the pages that appeared while I was gone. I'm out of likes. Yep, everything is good.
AT LAST! I've been trying to see the entire set of totems behind the war table. This proves it, there's no love for Josie. Her totem is absent.
Oh andfor the rest of them!
![]()
Yeah, Josie doesn't have special totem. It's kinda sad... But I think it also makes her special.
Has anyone who's convinced her to smash it seen its remains in the eluvian world?
*rases hand* Most of my world states have Merrill who smashed her eluvian. It's true I haven't looked for it every time, but I've seen it quite a few times
I have to correct myself, I DID take a picture of "Sidony" in the Garden!
-snip-
Isn't that Mistress Poulin?
Eh, you can't run away from DA world. I was visiting my relatives. And what I did in my free time? Draw my Inquisitor Aine. At least tried. You know, I'm one of those people who likes to draw even without having talent for it. But well... Here's my (grumpy) version of Aine.
I still wonder if I should color her or not...
So I took Imtiyaz into Redcliffe last night, and it struck me that this guy...
*snip*
...Looks very much like he could be related to this guy.
*snip*
Qunari spies in the Venatori?
Nice catch.
It would be a helluva plot twist. Especially since the Vints didn't seem to have much use for L...s in the alternate Redcliffe. Vint's aren't really too keen on sharing their secrets with elves. Gatt does mention that elves are useful in the Free Marches and Orlais, but doesn't mention Tevinter. The Qunari are very sensible and aren't going to use a spy that can't get where the good stuff is.
It would be unexpected.

I wasn't being entirely serious, but they do look quite similar. I wonder who that guy is. A slave?

Such gorgeous art!
Yeah, with Merrill's eluvian, I have had her smash it, I just haven't got around to playing that world state in DAI yet. I know it's good for her to let something that hurts her go, but, eh, it's a personal thing about making hard decisions for other people and how slippery the slope gets for me. Plus, I'm still playing around with different decisions in the one I'm in. I should try something else for a while. I've been meaning to do the one where Alistair is a grey warden. Maybe I'll combine the two.
Josie's icon is the scales. I think there is a set of scales or a statue of Justice holding scales near her. Next time I hit the war table, I'll check it out.
For right now, I'm letting the game and computer cool off. I think I overloaded them with all the screens I took. It just BSODed. Again. NVidia has an update, but the updates they're releasing are for the newer, 9-series cards, and mine's a 6. Working around the hardware issue, time to let things cool down and get coffee.
@YourFunnyUncle - The first guy is Lyskias(sp?) from Redcliffe, who was a harrowed mage from the alienage that wound up tranquil in Alexius' dungeon chanting he'd been blessed. The second is Gatt from Demands of the Qun.

I knew Gatt, but this will be only be the second time I've done In Hushed Whispers, and the first was in Tressa's game back in November (It's only my fourth Playthrough, and I've finished just one. I'm slow unlike some of you guys!) I didn't remember that the Redcliffe guy turned up again.
My internet connection is from hell today. Super slow. Rafe and company did some exploration of the Western Approach. It's a long way down. Hope no one is afraid of heights. Wonder how those poor saps ended up down there? My guess is that they got drunk and got too close to the edge.

Rafe and co went to the Still Ruins. This looks like it's gonna be painful. Might leave a mark. should time start flowing again. SAFETY HELMETS, PEOPLE!!!

Time eventually did begin to flow again, but only after Rafe took that staff that seemed to be causing the issues. Gave it to Dorian. Viv was understandably miffed about not getting the staff. But tough noogies. Rafe and co also took Griffon Wing Keep. Took out some Venatori. That gave Iron Bull some joy.
Back in Skyhold, Rafe flirted with Cassandra and gave her a copy of Varric's novel. She seemed to like that.
Rafe needs to pick a specialization. I've never gone Artificer for a rogue before, but I feel like that works better on an archer. Rafe is a DW /dual blade kind of guy. Decisions decisions!

O___o! What is Mistress Poulin doing in my Garden?!
She's supposed to help the people from Sahrnia, not going for a walk in Skyhold! *kicks her out*
Edit: also yes, color your Inky ![]()

No worries here. I did Champions 1 1/2 times, and, after meeting Calpernia, will not be doing that quest again. I've met Lyskias in Redcliffe so many times, if it was all one inquisitor, she'd know every detail of the guy's life story.
It does make your Qunari plot idea much more amusing, considering what the Qunari do to mages. No cushy Ben Hassrath job for them. Both would make very unlikely spies, so they'd be perfect.
@Birefringement - your screens are phenomenal. The transcription error with the Venatori guard's head is priceless. You did blow my headless harlequin theory out of the water. You can see harlequin's scalp and hairline inside the cowl, so it does render, I just haven't seen it. Nice. Captions are great!

Is he one of the chaps that you can talk to in the tavern after Alexius leaves?
