I only now the song "Pretty Belinda" :D

This is MP!Belinda

Belinda.png “I pray the Maker smiles on the Inquisition. Our cause is righteous.”

Oh yeah! He was my fav when Revenants and Arcane Horrors were let loose! I just let Revenant grab me, mine, leaping shot, and stealth. Poor bastard was slowly dying while I was preparing to troll another one
Yep, Wealth one.

Ok, I'll remember to poke you when I see you playing  :P

Great! that has to have looked awesome

Do that :P

Protecting... Well, I can blow things up  Tho I'm not that bad ad barriering.

Aww and here I thought I had a reason to play Keeper  (I like Neria, but I keep neglecting her in favor of Rion  )

Those screens are so cool, Uncle.  I never knew how they made gifs.  Thanks for showing us.  The facial expressions of Inq are very subtle aren't they?  Handsome Inq, too...ahem.

I do dread that fort on the Plains.  The undead are so easy, and the rage demon...kinda lame.  It's just getting the stupid ray off and then finding all the hidden loot.  There's one chest I go ape trying to reach.  It does help (a lot) to ignore the undead and even the demon, if you can, and run right up the ladder and to the winch to turn the ray off.  That way you can loop back to your team with a couple fire grenades and return the world state to one where the only things moving are supposed to be.

For walking bomb, I use FT mats for that all the time, and it does a great job of doing continuous damage, so it really helps.  I also find it helpful for another problem I have - sometimes I start looting before they're all dead.  I always wind up with a prowler hanging off my back.  When they blow up, you know they're dead and not just playing possum.  Using walking bomb mats = fewer health potions in my world, so give me more!

I don't have FF enabled.  That also helps, both with the firestorm and my experience with walking bomb.

There's a ladder that disappears after you free those soldiers, so I always loot everything while my team is bravely fighting against undead. That ray is so strange. Sometimes I stay in a middle of it and nothing, other times I'm burning when it's far away from me. I stopped caring about it. I take two mages and keep barriering my team.

I'm not playing with FF enabled either. Waste of time... and potions.

Great! that has to have looked awesome

Do that :P

Sorry for the sharing violation.  I've already bored my partner with my happiness and I still have too much left over to use up myself.

If that's a sharing violation, Spork needs to revise the bylaws. ;) I, for one, can never get enough of positive family news. Thanks for sharing.

So I've been storing my screenshots on Google Drive because I got a load of extra space free with my phone, and I noticed that Google keeps automatically making these collages and animations. Of course technology being technology, I need to copy them to my public Dropbox to be able to share them inline here... ;)

How cools is that!? For family photos that would be annoying as hell, but for screenies, awesome!

Yeah I'm wondering if the gifs are new or if I've just never been so trigger happy on the screenshots before. ;)

Yeah. With the collages they are clearly using face recognition tech and I guess they are designed for photos of family and friends. They don't force you to keep them, just make them and you can save them if you like.

Oh, yeah, Imtiyaz is a hot one.  Eye candy has no calories either!

Today, Elissa killed 2 dragons and 3 rogue templars or mages for Cass.  This time, I'm doing the dragons in order of staff required.  First time, we did Frosty and the Abyssal high dragon.  Today is the electrical ones, Crestwood, Exalted Plains, and Storm Coast.  Then it's the 3 ice dragons, and then back to fire.  I still have to claim the Hissing Wastes....  How does that happen?  Oh, yeah, I wanted to finish up the other areas first.  Time to do that too, then.

No pictures of the dragon fights.  Believe it or not, I'm over-leveled again and they're too easy.  The one on the Plains actually took off for it's last round of shocking flight with a single HP.  The minute it landed again, it used it's breath weapon on Inq and expired.  Still got the Vinsomer to do, though, and Elissa is standing on the shore of Dragon Island.  Since once again, she forgot to restock potions, this might be a more challenging fight.  Or it might not.  So far she's killed 2 electrical dragons and only used 1 jar of bees, 1 fire grenade, 2 resistance tonics, and 2 regen potions, spread out over the whole team.  We might have enough and I'm not turning back now....

Ahhh not much to report. I just dinged Ullia to 15 and am doing a spit ton of missions in Graves, Plains, Appraoch and other locations for Ullia Mint Tooth. It will be a while before I intend to hit WICKED MINDS, WICKED HEARTS first before the warden story mission.

Never had that happen to me, and I wasn't using Friendly Fire. Maybe with FF on it could be nasty, but otherwise no problem.

*Baps head* Oh yeah that's right. Lol. I think they added "friendly fire on/off" in DAI while it wasn't in DAO. All i remember from DAO is that i have gotten game over by putting walking bomb on a soldier darkspawn guy and he then was like SPAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" then charged at me. When I killed him BOOM! full health depeltion to me and everyone close to me. GAME OVER.

I do intend to get WALKING BOMB for Ullia but have a ways to go. However for 16 I intend to get the extended burning time and damage then 17 get the ability above WALKING BOMB.

BTW even if the "friendly fire on/off" was in DAO I must of kept it on for every playtrhough I've done. Lol.

PS: Unless they took that aspect of WALKING BOMB off where it doesn't hurt you anymore? Ahhhhh making my head hurt. Lol.

Did Stennis blow his chance with Dorian?!?!?

That's what I get for not paying attention to the approval/disapproval guides for LIs.

How bad is this? Is this unrecoverable before having to do WEWH?

* Stennis went with the Templars instead of mages

* Stennis conscripted the templars

* Stennis, when becoming Inquisitor, said "A Vashoth will lead us all" instead of "Coryphish must be stopped"

I had kind of wanted the romance to be at least through Stage 1 before WEWH, but Stennis might be too deep in the approval hole for that.

Hmm, I don't think so. If you do his "One Less Venatori" quest, that should give you enough approval to get Mother Giselle to appear with the letter. You should also do his war table missions regarding Maevaris (I think you get approval from those?)  I made the same choices you list in my current PT (except Tanith said elfy elf instead of Tal-vashoth) and Dorian is still her BFF. :D She would probably romance him if he was into girls and she wasn't stuck with romancing the egghead. :P

You should be OK.  I think the only thing that cuts off Dorian's romance (other than telling him you want to end it) is harming the merchant in his personal quest.

PS: Unless they took that aspect of WALKING BOMB off where it doesn't hurt you anymore? Ahhhhh making my head hurt. Lol.

Yeah, I hear you.  It was a bit of a shock in DA2 when I turned on friendly fire and started playing with Walking Bomb.  Oh, boy, did I deactivate that tactic fast with Merrill or what?  That black blossom would form on the baddie, then the Hawke team would fall over dead.  I think it might have even done damage with FF disabled, but I was so OPed with mods, I didn't notice.  It was only when I went back to vanilla that it got really challenging.

Yeah, I'm in the no-mods club for now.  I don't have a good history with writing code.  I was just writing a PM and realized that I have managed to trash 2 systems and make my own, um, very unique? trying to write code, and the game that gives me so much education is not something I want to mess with if I can't fix it.  It's working, I can manage, and if I start adding stuff, I'll have to deal with it if it goes south.  I can't write code, and don't feel like taking time to learn.  Right.  No mods.  I want the team that wrote the game fixing stuff, I'm not qualified.

That's just me.  I'm so into DAI, I want to see everything that the team that was getting paid for it put in before I start looking for ways to improve it.  I'm pretty sure I will be able to play vanilla until the next game comes out and still keep finding new things, but you never know.  I might luck out and win the lottery and be able to take classes in computers.  I'd have to buy a ticket, of course, but who knows, I might gamble someday.  If I'm able to write, though, I might try my own.  I've drawn some pretty cool armor in my head.  It's just getting it to fit the frame that's there or adapting an existing file, right?  And dealing with conflicts.  I hate dealing with conflict.

Dragons.  Yeah, they're dead.  3 electrical, 3 ice.  Now it's 2 fire (3 if you count the Hakkonites, who are as bad as a dragon,) and one more ice.

This is the part where I do a whole lot really fast.  I'm not keen on the Wastes, too many flies, too much open space, not enough light, and I so want to go exploring among the Avaar.  I won't let myself until I finish Sand and Ruin, or so I say.  Maybe this time I'll have the intestinal fortitude to put up with the Wastes.  Has anyone else noticed the similarity between the Hissing Wastes and Pratchett's black desert of the beyond?

Holiday weekend? What holiday would that be? No, wait, don't tell me, Wikipedia is the Infinite Book of Knowledge and will have the answer ...
Canadian Civic Holiday?

Officially, this.

No, I got it, it has to be this!
International Beer Day!

Unofficially, this.

Yay!  I really like how it looks.  Thanks, all!m7GAZv7.pngGotta avoid Dagna.  You know, lyrium hat.

She looks fantastic :D

Argh! Imgur is doing its, "I will only actually upload half the photos you select even though I look like I'm uploading each and every one" bit again.  It was working fine just an hour ago. Anyone know if it has a daily limit on what you can upload? It can't be that low though....I only have 75 total today.

Hmnmn... I know that it sometimes doesn't want to upload bigger batch, but I don't think I've ever hit a limit.
And I think Spork uploaded far more pictures while telling the tale of mp dragon slaying.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I uploaded just a little over a hundred pics for the MP dragon-fight that Rascoth and I did. I can't remember but I very likely uploaded other pics in the 24 hour period of that day as well. I've enever hit a limit, though once in awhile I'll get a little popup telling me to type the text I see, to verify I'm not a bot spamming the server, or something.

-- snip --

Welcome back. Glad to see Brin's adventure continues :)

I know this isn't the place for this, but I'm so happy I have to share.  I have a special needs son, who doesn't speak much (like Grimm.)  Last week we had a nice long chat and today, we spoke twice on the phone, and he's thinking about going to a friend's wedding, and I'm able to give him a lift.  He's going to get back to me tomorrow about taking care of my cat when I go camping.

This is such an achievement for him, I'm so proud and happy.  The self-awareness I'm just starting to experience is something he knew in middle school.  Dad had it right - the less complicated you make things, the smarter you are.  My ex-husband who was a drunk and a taker did have it right, my son has the soul of a 70 year old Methodist minister.  Did you know that was about the age Mr. Rogers was when I was growing up, and he was a Methodist minister?  My son is the gentlest, kindest, most loving person ever born.  He doesn't even need to touch an animal to know what it needs.  It is true that you learn from your children, and this one just gave me the second biggest gift he ever gave me (the first was my life - he saved it when he was 5 months old.)  I've been worried about him, because he's been losing weight the way I did when I was sick, but he's got life to look forward to, because his friend's getting married.  Maybe he'll get an idea and find someone to share his affection with while he's there.  They say going to a wedding is the start of another.  Maybe he'll find someone else as wonderful as he is.

Sorry for the sharing violation.  I've already bored my partner with my happiness and I still have too much left over to use up myself.

Violation? Wait, what? No worries, Magdalena. Thank you for sharing your happiness with us :D

Aww, you guys are making me want to play MP now. I managed to get the archer up to level 8 but I haven't tried any of the other ones. And I have yet to actually finish a mission.

I'll echo Gilli and Rascoth and say, come to the Dark Side. We have ...well... we have fun :P

If that's a sharing violation, Spork needs to revise the bylaws. I, for one, can never get enough of positive family news. Thanks for sharing.

Bylaws? Careful now, we don't want this becoming anything like actual work ;) I already have enough of that to suit me.

EDIT: Hi folks :) I'm back and out of likes. Easy come, easy go. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Speaking for myself, I did have a good weekend and I am ready to get back to some form of adventuring in Thedas. Such a busy place. There's a nightmare run, the magequisition, Harold's journey through the Frostback Basin, more time spent in the CC than I will ever admit to, catching up on every one else's wonderful Thedas journeys, and lastly, Gilli-chan today (or yesterday depending on your point-of-view) talking us into perilous matches in MP with the famous words "It's not that bad."

...
...
...

Truthfully, it was a hundred percent fun, and as far as the gameplay went, totally not frustrating in any way. The frustrating bit came with having to reboot the game at the start of every match, and occasionally rebooting the whole PC. But it's alright -- though it does mean I didn't take any screenies. Maybe next time Origin will decide to be a little bit stable. I had a blast. :D
