Holiday weekend? What holiday would that be? No, wait, don't tell me, Wikipedia is the Infinite Book of Knowledge and will have the answer ...
Canadian Civic Holiday?
Officially, this.
No, I got it, it has to be this!
International Beer Day!
Unofficially, this.
Yay! I really like how it looks. Thanks, all!
Gotta avoid Dagna. You know, lyrium hat.
She looks fantastic
Argh! Imgur is doing its, "I will only actually upload half the photos you select even though I look like I'm uploading each and every one" bit again. It was working fine just an hour ago. Anyone know if it has a daily limit on what you can upload? It can't be that low though....I only have 75 total today.
Hmnmn... I know that it sometimes doesn't want to upload bigger batch, but I don't think I've ever hit a limit.
And I think Spork uploaded far more pictures while telling the tale of mp dragon slaying.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I uploaded just a little over a hundred pics for the MP dragon-fight that Rascoth and I did. I can't remember but I very likely uploaded other pics in the 24 hour period of that day as well. I've enever hit a limit, though once in awhile I'll get a little popup telling me to type the text I see, to verify I'm not a bot spamming the server, or something.

Welcome back. Glad to see Brin's adventure continues
I know this isn't the place for this, but I'm so happy I have to share. I have a special needs son, who doesn't speak much (like Grimm.) Last week we had a nice long chat and today, we spoke twice on the phone, and he's thinking about going to a friend's wedding, and I'm able to give him a lift. He's going to get back to me tomorrow about taking care of my cat when I go camping.
This is such an achievement for him, I'm so proud and happy. The self-awareness I'm just starting to experience is something he knew in middle school. Dad had it right - the less complicated you make things, the smarter you are. My ex-husband who was a drunk and a taker did have it right, my son has the soul of a 70 year old Methodist minister. Did you know that was about the age Mr. Rogers was when I was growing up, and he was a Methodist minister? My son is the gentlest, kindest, most loving person ever born. He doesn't even need to touch an animal to know what it needs. It is true that you learn from your children, and this one just gave me the second biggest gift he ever gave me (the first was my life - he saved it when he was 5 months old.) I've been worried about him, because he's been losing weight the way I did when I was sick, but he's got life to look forward to, because his friend's getting married. Maybe he'll get an idea and find someone to share his affection with while he's there. They say going to a wedding is the start of another. Maybe he'll find someone else as wonderful as he is.
Sorry for the sharing violation. I've already bored my partner with my happiness and I still have too much left over to use up myself.
Violation? Wait, what? No worries, Magdalena. Thank you for sharing your happiness with us
Aww, you guys are making me want to play MP now. I managed to get the archer up to level 8 but I haven't tried any of the other ones. And I have yet to actually finish a mission.
I'll echo Gilli and Rascoth and say, come to the Dark Side. We have ...well... we have fun
If that's a sharing violation, Spork needs to revise the bylaws. I, for one, can never get enough of positive family news. Thanks for sharing.
Bylaws?
Careful now, we don't want this becoming anything like actual work
I already have enough of that to suit me.
EDIT: Hi folks
I'm back and out of likes. Easy come, easy go. I hope everyone had a good weekend. Speaking for myself, I did have a good weekend and I am ready to get back to some form of adventuring in Thedas. Such a busy place. There's a nightmare run, the magequisition, Harold's journey through the Frostback Basin, more time spent in the CC than I will ever admit to, catching up on every one else's wonderful Thedas journeys, and lastly, Gilli-chan today (or yesterday depending on your point-of-view) talking us into perilous matches in MP with the famous words "It's not that bad."

Truthfully, it was a hundred percent fun, and as far as the gameplay went, totally not frustrating in any way. The frustrating bit came with having to reboot the game at the start of every match, and occasionally rebooting the whole PC. But it's alright -- though it does mean I didn't take any screenies. Maybe next time Origin will decide to be a little bit stable. I had a blast.
