Morrigan: We'll head straight for the Well of Sorrows. You catch up with us there. If Samson falls, fine. If not, the sword.
Inquisitor: I'm going to duel him without Payback Strike.
Morrigan: You know what a hurry we're in!
Inquisitor: Well, it is only way I can be satisfied. If I use Payback Strike... over too quickly.
Morrigan: Oh, have it your way.
[later, Inquisitor and Samson are engaged in a sword fight]
Inquisitor: You are using Untouchable Defense against me, ah?
Samson: I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
Inquisitor: Naturally, you must expect me to attack with Payback Strike?
Samson: Naturally. But I find that Unbowed cancels out Payback Strike, don't you?
Inqusitor: Unless the enemy has studied his Shield Bash... which I have!
Why do I suddenly have the image of Inigo Montoya vs Dread Pirate Westley Roberts in my head right now?
I'm a bit sad that the guy who gives the Nox Morta quest appears to have bugged out and isn't there. No giant bogfisher fun for Aidan...
I don't think he shows up right away. Maybe after the second or third trip back to the first camp, or maybe after you reach a certain point in the main quest?

Oh I hope you're right! I missed his silly quest...
Okay Jaws is officially the best thing ever. You can farm Fade-Touched Plush Fustian Velvet here without RNG? Just...just thank you Bioware. Thank You.

Anyway, I've gotten smarter on prepping my teams for dragon battles. The electrical dragon near the Storm Coast is still a pain, but at least I didn't end up just using Vivienne as the last player standing.
Dispel, Electric Resistance Tonic and Electric Resistance belts (buy in Val Royeaux) worked for me on Nightmare, under leveled by at least 3. I think everyone only used one tonic, also, since they were upgraded to last longer.

I know, right? The first time I saw that in non-RNG loot I practically fell out of my chair. I guess they felt really, really bad about how tough the Avaar Assassins turned out ...

Jaws of Hakkon is practically candy land for Fade-Touched Mats. My only issue is that it well be hard to keep track of them all if I want more but damn I wish I had this content sooner.
Isn't it peculiar that Tevene sounds so much like Avvar?
Adian's working his way around the Frostback Basin, Closing rifts and killing Ice archers...

I adore that sunset view.
Don't give up on the avid paranormal investigator yet. He didn't show up on me once too, and then did on my second time back from Skyhold. According to Prima Guide, the quest Nox Morta shouldn't be available until the dragon's killed, but I have yet to kill the dragon before the Nox Morta. It is possible that he shows up at different times, but he will always be there after the dragon fight.
I've never met him before speaking to Lieutenant Farrow and discovered and reported Grandin's fate to Scout Harding, since I tend to go straight for the friendly Avaar and work in a counter-clockwise circular pattern from there. I work from the outside in with a spiral pattern, and I remember I didn't go very far north once and reached that area earlier than usual that time. Maybe as you explore more you'll trigger something?

So... Imbued Tuskets... I know that at least one spawns in the area where you hunt the Nox Morta near the cave where they lock up Storvacker. Do they respawn?
Are Spoils of the Qunari DLC worth buying? That lady Inquisitor armour looks cool. Maybe I'll get it after The Descent DLC is out.
You get some fancy stuff like mount, throne, bed, decorations, light and heavy armour schematics. I found out I use only that light armour and decorations (not throne or bed, the third one...) from the DLC, but I don't regret it, I totally love that outfit on her. I guess it depends on your preferences.
It might, Uncle. I think it's tied to what you're using. If you craft something with your current stuff, you might find more next time you go through. If it's been in your inventory forever and you haven't used it, the game may decide you don't need more yet. It's a possibility, or the RNG might have a very narrow window. I'd say use it when you want, and even if you don't find more, you'll still have a really cool weapon or armor. I do seem to find more of what I just ran out of....
I'm chuckling at myself. We used to watch the show Hee Haw and the old lady always had a price tag hanging off her straw hat. I'm not sure Dorian would appreciate the comparison. Oh wait, it's a tea bag, like the pirate serving wench from the Crimson Assurance! Even better!

After closing the last rift in the Wastes, I wanted to take on HR and talk about the location of our last gig. For that, I decided just poking away while she slept wasn't good enough. I was going to wake it up so it had a chance to look its fate in the eyes. Then I stabbed it in the back.

Bull wanted to see if the Ben-Hassrath were right and decided to compare for family resemblance. They still might be right, but something about him doesn't seem to suit this one. He'll have to keep looking.

I don't like the look in her eye.

Check this out. She started out with AC 72. Huzzah for armor penetration. At this point, I started running into some issues. The first wave of dragonlings spawned, and if I broke targeting on the leg, I'd lose my advantage. Fire resistance tonic was upgraded to proximity, as was regeneration, so the melee guys were fine. Dorian did not fare as well.
Spoiler
Elissa's red hair is a reflection of the dragon's ground ring. Her head rendered fine.
HR's head is glowing because she's about to breathe. It doesn't show here, but her left eye is glowing yellow. Weird.
Things eventually did get too hot for Dorian and he sent a spirit to do the work for him. Typical magister.
It's pretty bad when you see that little sliver of health and say, "Oh, that's not so bad." It's still got, what, 36K HP and the healer's down.
That was when I decided that the dragonlings would have to be dealt with and Dorian revived if the dragon was ever going to be defeated. I devoted Elissa to popping around cleaning them up and left the crew to deal with Momma. Mission accomplished, HR went down the second I got back, and fittingly, the killing blow was a tie between Elissa and Dorian. She went down in the usual, overly dramatic way, but not many screens. I did mention I always start looting too soon.

I just did a Contact Hero of Ferelden war table operation and realised I created the most idiotic world state: my favourite and nice Hawke and warden is Alistair, who was in romance with the Hero...
Now I really don't want to proceed with Here Lies the Abyss.
