Finished Jaws of Hakkon. The dragon was underwhelming, but fun experience overall.

I'm sad now because I have a PS3 and won't be able to play The Descent (don't like the Deep Roads, but I want to play it anyway). PS4 is still very expensive in my area.

For Jaws of Hakkon, I would have liked romance content and more story, but it was fun. Also, I recluted her... yes, her.

And my mage Inquisitor is basically converting into the Avvar religion now. Oh, I loved the Avvar so much.

Is your Hawke single? Mine flirted with her (while telling her he did not agree with her) and Anders who was my LI was so jealous it was funny. I thought the DLC was interesting, though I would have liked more options regarding the ending...

I bought the Amaranthine Charger for Knight Enchanter Alessandra earlier today. Such a gorgeous black stallion   

 

Can't wait for The Descent tomorrow. My KE will obviously be the first to explore the Deep Roads, then DW Assassin Natalia and DW Tempest Julian. All post game level 27 Inquisitors. I'm curious to see how challenging the enemies and bosses will be in this new DLC.

Well my XBOX360 seemed to have a "good day" today (didn't red ring surprisingly).

I decided to play as rubblocke for a quick bit and decided to poke around Haven.

 

 

i chatted up with Sera. i thought the conversation was really neat but kind of felt broken to how I intend to play Rubblocke.

 

Sera: "So Herald of Andraste. You weren't...well...I suppose your trying to work an angle huh. Trying to rake in good money while doing some good yeah?"

Rubblocke: "indeed I am. Your part of a group too. where do you stand in all this?"

Sera: "The middle. Right now with the war going on things are stupid."

 

For the rest of the conversation I was hopeing Rubblocke and Sera would be talking about conning people off but instead Sera talks about ending the war so things can go back to normal. I was a bit bummed out by that but sheds a interesting note about Sera. Sera CLEARLY isn't fighting against evil for a crap ton of money but to do some in general good. Take that Sera haters. Lol.

 

Anyway I chatted up with Josephine too.

 

 

I liked this conversation a-lot.

 

Josephine: "So...*sigh*...Herald of Andraste...I heard you were part of the carte. Is this true?"

Rubblocke: "Indeed I am. Why do you ask.?"

Josephine: *Sigh* "well i was trying to figure out how to present you to the masses. However with you being part of the carte I don't know how to depict you. What kind of things did you do?"

Rubblocke: "Well i smuggled a-lot of goods, steal and I even had to kill from time to time while protecting caravans."

Josephine: "That...*nervous sigh*....isn't what I expected. I was trying to find some sort of way of depicting you as a good man but I don't know how I can."

Rubblocke: "Well i thought you would be into 'guys like that'."

Josephine: *Nervous and embaressly chuckles*...."Mmmmnh....well I suppose I kind of have something to work with. I'm sure I'll come up with a positive image to present to the people. Good day to you herald".

 

I thought how I played this conversation was perfect. i met Krem by the door and I had Rubblocke act unsure about meeting Iron Bull.

 

 

Rubblocke did meet him and...

 

 

told him he was uninterested because he was

 

1: "To expensive"

2: "Rubblocke IS a 'front line bodygaurd' ."

3: "Is a liar himself so he doesn't need another liar".

4: "just hates qunari guys."

 

Then i went to the Hinderlands.

 

 

Rubblocke recruited Blackwall. Rubblocke bought into the whole 'needing a warden' deal.

 

 

Another update file for DA:I, huh.... I'm sure I know what it's for, but 3.4GBs? Maybe some positive fixes? I'm skeptical about DA:I patches.

 

I got mine a bit ago myself. It was 345 MB if I remember right for the XBOX 360 version. It seemed to have put in new enemies (Rift assassins who drop venetori tomes in the exalted plains and a pure wisp in the Mire) but didn't seem to fix some of my other issues. i am still needing to research some of my previous problems. "LOTUS AND ROOT" still seems to keep spamming "COMPLETED" when it was completed long long long ago.

 

I assume it's in preparation for the new DLC... Maybe they'll also fix the bugs in the Qunari DLC armours...

 

Makes sense however...

 

As far as that Sebastian video is concerned i prefered taking his actual lines of "i'll pass" "get someone else to do it" "that is highly unlikely" to the song "OUR HOUSE". i think that would be funny.

Un....sure. I would have to finish up Chasimess in JOH first. I doubt Malioniss would be a good idea since JOH was glitchy beyond hell. Ullia still has a long way to go. Besides when is the XBOX 360 version of the DLC will be out?

I was able to get rid of all of the lines through my HP IMAGE ZONE program on my windows XP computer but it kind of looks a bit smokey because of the fact I had to fix the lines. No big deal. It looks a bit better this way. I still hate the fact my camera isn't compatible with my new computer and I have to use my old computer to make my pictures but what can you do. I hate computers. If things work why new wave it and prevent old programs and devices from working? i hate how new computers ban old programs and devices.

On the statues, I always saw the ones in Emprise and Hissing Wastes etc as Qunari looking. Even the SoQ pack decor has naked female Qunari statues. Just sayin' 
 

 

After I went to bed, my tin-foil hat got aligned properly and decided a better theory is if the ancient elves created the qunari as a last ditch effort to defend against the Imperium. They had their fingers in all kinds of dragon-y stuff, so why not mix some with the annoying humans they captured and send them back to kill off the rest? Eh, that didn't work out so well but....they tried. Maybe?

 

Still no idea who might have carved the statues though.

 

Yes, because you can farm Veil Quartz which is a great tier four base for weapons but it's a fugly colour it would be nice to make everything match.

 

I have about 1,100 thousand veil quartz. It's a pain that I have to use masterworks to hide the ugly colors.

 
I can't believe there are people who don't think veil quartz is pretty.

Nothing today in DA, but I am excited for tomorrow for The Descent. Got a level 26 mage so I should be able to go pretty far into the Deep Roads with her.

 
Me too, but I am unsure whether to dl/install the new patch due to mod breakage and other issues for my current game. However......

Where did you get that wreath? I thought it was Ardent Blossom, and I wondered how you managed to get it before clearing the Emprise du Lion.

When I do The Tiniest Cave, the hermit will always say that there's an error or the time is not yet right unless I have claimed Suledin Keep. If I wait to jump on his rock until after I've claimed the Keep, I get it right away.

 
Unless you did clear Emprise du Lion before doing the Exalted Plains. I've done that, by the way, but if I do, I usually have T3 gear, and your inquisitor is wearing T2...

 
You need to have something like 10 or 11 crystal grace plants when you do the jumping in Emerald Graves. What I've found is, that instead of having to jump a bunch of times, I can save before the first jump, jump a couple of times, then reload, and the spot to place the flowers is active. It's happened for me twice in two different games, both unintentional as it turned out. I messed up the jump spot (and Dorian was interfering as well) so I wanted to start over. I don't know if you need to secure the keep before you can get through the magic wall and go down the stairs. I haven't made it to Emprise in my current game to try it out.

I found out why they call it Chateau Corbin and found my first off-limits escape route.  I was tracking a loot container with the HUD off and avoiding the obvious.

I stopped trying to reach that one blasted loot container that I only ever trick myself into thinking I got.  I know there's a way to reach it, and did first playthrough, but I'm thinking I'll remember once I retrace my steps.  I made a point of not doing that this time.

Tanith spent most of yesterday getting her hiney handed to her by the Sandy Howler.  She finally gave up on the mage + Varric crew in favor of "Dragonslayers R Us" instead. I also discovered why Marcus never was able to find the Armor of the Knights Divine - Sandy drops it and he didn't kill her (might have to remedy that at some point ).

Sadly Mike said via twitter months ago for us to expect nothing changing in regards to companion casual outfits and skyhold outfit. Hopefully that's just because theyhave too much to do currently, not because they couldn't be bothered. with all the cutscenes in Skyhold I guess it's not easy to fix, there is tons of just animation clipping issues (hands going through legs when sitting in Haven etc)

 

All the more reason for a Community Patch. Throw open the modding doors, Bioware! If an idiot like me can fix bad clips and bad navmeshes in Skyim, I'm sure I can do the same in DAI. What have you got to lose?
