I knoooow! Everyone says Blackwall is better tank, but Cass as amazing  :D

Champion is probably an overall better tank specialisation but I think Templar is good enough if you've built your tank well with Weapon and Shield and Vanguard. It boosts your party and it's always useful to have someone other than a mage who can dispel rifts and barriers.

I'm taking Blackwall in Connie's pt just because I've sent him to Wardens. I'm playing post-ending and I really want to see if they mention this

That's a fair point that I hadn't considered...

I think in terms of his actions he's exactly the same. If you don't summarily execute Anders he threatens to come back to Kirkwall with an army. That's pretty much the textbook definition of "my way or the highway." In DAI this is shown not to be an idle threat made in the heat of the moment,  He tries to do it if you don't stop him.

How is the rest of Kirkwall any more responsible for Anders/Hawke's actions than the members of that particular Chantry are for the oppression of the mages across Thedas? To my mind it's equal and opposite stupidity leading to the pointless slaughter of innocents, but at least Anders had the excuse of being an abomination.

I think you've pretty much summed it up, with the bolded part especially.  For me, the definition of stupidity is when I do the same thing over and over because I can't think of a better way.

Anders' templar joke: "Most templars were male and wouldn't ask directions."

I'm not at all afraid any more to use my feminine wiles and stop at a gas station and buy a map.  Nor am I afraid to look at the one on the wall of the rest area when I'm 4 hours off-course and the road signs are in a language I can't understand.  I can still see where the roads go, and what direction I have to travel, and have experience doing that kind of thing.

I'll spoiler the long story, which was pretty cool.

Spoiler

I forgive Sebastian.  Elethina was right, but she was old and slow.  She waited too long and let herself die.  It's never worth being martyred over.  Unless, for her, it was.  Maybe she only did nothing so that it would come to a head.  She knew what was going on.  Sebastian worshipped Elethina, though, not the Maker.  The way I know this is that he never cut off his Starkhaven ties.  If he was bent on dedicating himself to the Maker, he wouldn't care who he was or who made the bow, if it was a good one.  He would have used the bow he had to kill the baddies himself, not wait for some hired thugs to do it for him.  No, he was feeling slighted about being sent away and then recalled when he was the last one left.  That's the way nobility works, and why I'm as common as muck.

True, Champion's passives make it, theoretically, better tank. But as I said, proper skills from Vanguard tree, and Templar is as good as Champion  :D

Don't know if there's any mention of it, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Wonderful story.

And I agree with what you said about Sebastian.

By the way. The Descent is available on Origin

The DLC has yet to show up on the PS Store. Not that it surprises me one bit. >_> Is the DLC worth buying for those who have gotten their hands on and SPEEDRUN through it?

I'm so glad I gave Solas the Wall of Fire spell. The fights now look so cool! Ehrrm... maybe that's not the best word, but I'm not using hot anywhere near Solas. :D

Took me 4hrs and I've never considered myself a speed runner before. Graphics/lore/combat all awesome, but much shorter story than I expected. Worth buying? Yes, but a bit overpriced I think in all honesty.

Lol! That could be said about a lot of EA's DLCs.

What level were you at when you started the dlc?

Did the 4 hours included looking in every nook and cranny for items?

Lv25 on the way in, post-game (enemies scaled to exact level). Mostly main story with anything I came across on the way that didn't require me to go back to the war table. I think I explored reasonably thoroughly outside of that, I was hunting lore :)

Bruce continued his adventure in the old ruins, fighting Dragonlings and cultists until he met their leader, Kolgrim.

Kolgrim made Bruce the offer to let go to the Ashes of Andraste, if he'd defile them, but Bruce declined, which led to a short battle, which Kolgrim didn't survive.

Spoiler

When they left the ruins, something flew over their heads. It was the cultists Andraste, a High Dragon.

Spoiler

Bruce didn't hesitate and so they attacked the Dragon. Soon Alistair dealt the finishing blow. (I only switched to Alistair to take screenies)

Spoiler

They then entered a building guarded by an old guardian. He told Bruce he had to pass three tests before he could take a pinch of Andrastes Ashes. Those tests were much too easy, and after a short time, Bruce stood infront of the Urn.

Spoiler

As soon as they had the ashes, they went back to Redcliffe, to heal Arl Eamon with them. Together they then talked about their future plans to stop Loghain.

New plan: Making Alistair King! Alistair wasn't happy about that idea.

Spoiler

Back in the camp, Morrigan had to pick a bone with Bruce, because she tought he would cheat on her with Zevran.  <_< Bruce then had to assure her, that Zevran was only a friend, Zevran disapproved -26

Spoiler

After that unpleasant conversation, Bruce, Wynne, Zevran and Rick (dog) went into the Brecilian Forest to seek for aid from the elves. Sadly they had problems of their own. They got attacked by Werewolves and Keeper Zathrian asked for Bruce's help with them.

Spoiler

---

Also I took some screenies from the Fade in MP, cause what else can you do, when you have to wait till you get revived.  (yes, they are edited~)

Finished Jaws of Hakkon. The dragon was underwhelming, but fun experience overall.

I'm sad now because I have a PS3 and won't be able to play The Descent (don't like the Deep Roads, but I want to play it anyway). PS4 is still very expensive in my area.

For Jaws of Hakkon, I would have liked romance content and more story, but it was fun. Also, I recluted her... yes, her.

And my mage Inquisitor is basically converting into the Avvar religion now. Oh, I loved the Avvar so much.

I'm dying, this is the best thing ever XD

Is your Hawke single? Mine flirted with her (while telling her he did not agree with her) and Anders who was my LI was so jealous it was funny. I thought the DLC was interesting, though I would have liked more options regarding the ending...

Nope, I romanced him with Merill and got a comment at the end of the DLC (Tallis who envy my LI), it was fun. I really enjoyed this DLC, so much fun when trying to get the key to the castle. The ending was..well, it was OK for me, even if I couldn't get Tallis as a companion.

& I just finished DA II. Argh, the feels. Wish I had a little cutscene at the end, showing everyone having a pint. Still, I loved seeing Cassandra and Leliana together.

(Oh, and gotta love the Florence and the Machine song during the credits  )

Now I can't wait to go back to JoH and The Descent!

DAI Cinematic tools updated. Should work with patch 9.

Haven't tested it myself yet, and don't know if it works with older patches.
