That was unexpected. Sudden earthquakes and request for help from Orzammar. After meeting with irreplaceable Scout Harding, we're going down.
Introduction of
another cute dwarf temporary companion - Shaper Valta. Nice cutscene, with a lot of talking and then *beep* (hey, I'm not going to write about everything).
I'll tell you that. The deeper you go, the more beautiful it gets. That's my whole commentary to scenery screenshots.
First fight and they throw at us that one monster I really, really wanted back!
Short run to Legion of the Dead camp...
...before meeting another temporary companion, Renn.
Then the battle started. At first I couldn't believe my eyes. RED DOTS EVERYWHERE! WTF?! Barriering is hard when you can't see where your companions are.
After dealing with Darkspawn...
...time had come for proper intorduction.
Earthquakes were following us whole game. This statue didn't survive. R.I.P. Paragon statue.
Oh, Shrieks! Nice! *after first seconds of fight* Oh, sh*t! Shrieks! I was worried for Emissary, but that! That's just cruel!
Yes, those Shrieks were horrible. Enemies uses different tactics and it may take some time to getting used to which one does what. And those resistances... I'll not even start on that. Either way, after dealing with them the 'trip' continued.
At this point I squealed, because it totally looks like seals from Legacy!
I've seen it somewhere. Yep, looks like upgraded DAO.
Some of those fights looks awesome. Others made me laugh and no, not because of DLC itself, but because of what randomly happened.
Exhibit #1: What happens when you Fade Step in Deep Roads.
Randomness of some parts of Deep Roads amazes me.
Yet another fight and... Ok, I want Shrieks back and TAKE AWAY THAT DAMN EMISSARY!
Some scenery.
*DAO flashbacks* This really brings back memories.
One last push before we
descent.
