So I have a question:

(How) did Valta lose her place at the Shaperate if Harrowmount is king? With Bhelen it was him asking an indiscretion committed by of one of his family to be struck from the records and her refusing to do it.

Me too heh. Until I'm playing Descent -- which I will begin in earnest when I get home from work tonight -- I don't want to know too much about it. In that vein, I'll take the time here to sincerely thank everyone who is discussing 'Descent', or showing off lovely screenies (not jealous ), for keeping that content inside spoiler tags. Speaking for myself it is greatly appreciated

I honestly am not bothered by spoilers.  I watch certain shows, and sometimes I miss an episode and have to DVR it due to life.  I fully admit to reading recaps of said missed episode before ever having seen it.  I will also read the end of the book before hand.  And I hate surprises. 

 

I'm weird like that though.

For me it's...the more I'm interested in something, the less I want to know about it. xD 

(tho there are exceptions, I read every spoiler about Steven Universe, cause without them I don't notice when new episodes are out  )

If I get to read/watch/play something before proper spoilers appear, then I know nothing. But if I get to see some nice spoilers... I can't help myself

I was thinking of that when I first made this hat for him.  I've been keeping it on him ever since. I wish we had the decision like in Mass Effect to keep helmets on during conversations.

Did anyone think that the Emissary Alpha was the most pain in the bum enemy in the DLC? His fireball attack did so much damage!!!

Revival deal nice damage against Undead, so it can come handy against some enemies.

Sorry, I'm going to repeat that to everyone, because I was shocked when I've learned that.

 

Varric with Hidden Blades on armor and Throwing Blades skill was the best! I wonder what Cole can do with Throwning Blades. I never found space in his skills slot for that

Well, how ironic. I just watched Mission Impossible Rogue Nation earlier today that has an appearance by Alec Baldwin. Good movie and story. I enjoyed it.

 

DA wise.. I like your Inquisitor and the armour.

Did anyone think that the Emissary Alpha was the most pain in the bum enemy in the DLC? His fireball attack did so much damage!!!

Yes! Most pain in the ashes! That S.O.B. used ice attacks against my Knight Enchanter and her team! Good thing we blew fire, electricity and Mark of the Rift up its arse!

 

The final boss fight was stupid too. I ranted about this in a previous post.

OK Descent spoilers incoming.  

 

OK so after my unfortnatue blue screen...

It started me off at the beginning of Heidrun Thaig again

So I decided to go back out of the Deep Roads and start over.  I had shopping to do and had a bunch of stuff to do on the surface.  First off went to the Hinterlands to pick up a whole bunch of herbs and other things.  50 Elfroot, 30 Blood Lotus, 20 Spindleweed.  Then off to the Black Emporium, picked up the Sullevin Blade for Cassandra.  And then a tactician's renewal.  Went back and forth, crafted, respecced, created an excel document, made her a two handed warrior...and here we go.  Mayybe I made a mistake but I was thinking that Shield and Sword is a bit...useless..so specced her into Two handed weapons.  Also gave her Darkspawn killing rune of doom.  

 

Anyways then back to do what I did yesterday.  

 

And after much battles and tribulations and an annoying boss fight.  I finished.  Took vid of it though.  So, I hope to post that here eventually.  More to come.  

 

Yeah, the whole fight (from that moment on, when you can't save anymore) took me 1 hour and 5 minutes. 

Really, it only took me about 32 minutes.
