Just chiming in to concur with the observation that Descent was reminiscent of Origins. Grindy combat, yeah, but the vistas! And those moments when you feel like you're discovering the dawn of civilization or something (I always get that feeling when I'm watching the Fellowship of the Ring and Gandalf lights up the Great Hall in Moria with his staff.)
In other news, I'll be in a corner...
I kinda missed the companion banter... but that too was reminiscent of Origins. Companions bantered on the Orazammar bridges, but they didn't banter in the dungeons, per se. I enjoyed the banter between Valta and Renn. "Not while we have something to argue about" indeed.

The whole thing took me about 9 hours, start to finish. That person who did the whole thing in 2 hours must have missed most of it. There were probably 2 hours of cutscenes in the DLC! (The Nug King: best cinematic "dialogue" EVER.) Heck, I probably spent 2 hours on that battle before you claim the tiniest Party Camp! I was convinced they were respawning. And they do respawn. I had to leave the dungeon because I didn't have enough Blood Lotus, so when I got back, I thought I'd see what happened to the chests after traveling... and I had to fight them all AGAIN!
The schematics were good, too. I don't know if I'll ever make the armor, but the shield was the best in the game. All told, $15 well spent.
