I probably know as much as any of you, and i probably would've gotten it if weren't for my latop being a piece of crap, so yeah, it's not really new to me....  And i got a DLC with it (The Black Emporium, the DLC were my Quz's go to look even better then the time i made them)

You know normally I dont mess with my character even if they look bad but I really screwed Kara up in the beginning she went from this:

Spoiler

I will, I will  ;) I may even abandon original plan for my dwarven rogue... I could always go dw tempest...

Yep, Emerald Graves. He fell there after I killed him... and just stayed there for a while. I couldn't stop laughing

So...

Edit:

Spoiler

Good to hear you found them all :)

Auugggh, I can't decide! Who to take into the Fade for Abyss?

In previous PTs, I've taken Solas, Cass, Sera, Blackwall, Iron Bull and Solas.

I'm taking Cole for sure, since I've never brought him before. Cass for the demon battles, since this is Nightmare. That leaves one more slot to fill.

Solas would be my default choice, but I always bring him.

Dorian would be my next choice, but his skill set just isn't up to major demon battles. Even if I respec, his specialization skills just don't help that much in the Fade.

Vivienne might be interesting, and having Resurgence on hand wouldn't suck, but I dunno about banter.

Varric would be good, but having two archers seems kind of squishy. Besides, I haven't been able to afford to upgrade Bianca.

Storywise: I liked Vivienne's comments. Varric also have a bit of a banter with Hawke. Dorian's comments... I love those.

Battlewise: I would go with Dorian or Vivienne. As much as I like taking Varric to Adamant, you seems to be in need for a mage/

And I wouldn't call having two archers squishy. I played my whole nightmare run as archer assassin and Varric was my permanent party member (well, except for companion quests, where I needed to switch parties a little). Though, to be serious, I really think that depends on your playstyle...

Finally caught up on the.. 10? pages I missed

Chatty people, you. I have nothing new to show until I sort through Descent screens. It's taking a while.

You guys are awesome, have I said that before? well I have now.

Hillary has man problems.

My Grey Warden mage Hillary, was under the impression that she was in a relationship with Alister - they've been sharing a tent for weeks now (got the achievement and everything) and being all cutesy together.  She gave him all the gifts.  He gave her a rose.  All of a sudden, Zevran is flirting hard with her, but Hills, being a good girl, gently deflected his advances.  Apparently this was not enough.  Alister confronted Hillary after they killed Branka in the Deep Roads.  He asked about her relationship with Zevran.  OMG WHAT RELATIONSHIP, YO?!  Can't a girl be friends with the painted elf without it getting sexy?  Men are stupid sometimes.  Hillary reiterated her commitment to Alister and let Zevran down as gently as possible while being 100% clear about things.

Also, in talking to Sten, she realized he keeps calling her Kadan.  WHAT GIVES?!  (my guess here is that somehow Kadan either means more than one thing or that someone at Bioware changed the meaning of said word between DAO and DAI).  Sten and Hillary are not at Kadan level.  But being at Kadan level allowed Hillary to take Sten and co to Haven.  Instead of getting in a fight about things, Sten asked why they were going north and Hillary told him he had to trust her, because Fereldan was her home, and that they had to go there to get to the Archdemon.  And he accepted that explanation (this is the first time that I've ever avoided fighting with Sten at that point in the game.  Go figure.  So I suppose he can call her Kadan if it avoids getting into a fight.  I hate beating my companions).

After the Deep Roads, also managed to speak with Shale, who wanted to search them if there was time.  Hillary let Shale know that she would squeeze in some time.  Turns out Shale is a lady golem and that she is from house Cadash.  Hills wonders if Shale smoked three packs a day before she was made a golem, or if that voice was a result of being turned into a stone cold killing machine.  Hillary kept that to herself.

Today.. No gaming until I work out!  After said work out, The Temple of Sacred Ashes!

So I went back and played the end of Descent again so I could get photos.  Like this bad boy:

Spoiler

Anyways several more ideas occured to me.  None of which I am going to share, too busy mulling them over. :P

So I was doing all the side quests that I was interested in, though I was interested in several of them on the Wiki.  Did Kill me Softly.  Did several of the operations...opened all the gates... I think.  Met the Nug King.  And had more of a blast with the combat.

The most dramatic moment came when I put up the Aegis of the Rift ability around myself  It worked as promised.  What I did not expect was the SPider to charge my position so I had to leap out of the way.

I took Dorian in there on nightmare (because I always take Dorian everywhere).  He does just fine in the fade.  If he's speced into fire he'll be fine since the big PITA demons are strong to electricity and cold.  Take him.  You know you want to.

Or maybe I want you to.  #TeamDorianForLife

Didn't have much choice but to take Dorian considering he is my only mage post Inquisition.

Viv must be your Divine? Did you tell her to kiss off post winning or can you just not have your Divine in the Descent?

I never recruited her in the first place.  Cassandra is my divine, invited her back, took her to the Deep Roads.  Thank the Maker.

Other things I did today I realized I had a pre Descent save, saved that, saved it before the big boss fight, and then I have a regular save kicking around.  So I now have three saves kicking around.  Also finally found tier 3 arms for Rogue armor.  Which is happy considering I have never been happy with Kara's gauntlets.  :P  But alas after I got them all crafted up I decided I really did not like the look of them or the stats...especially the stats.  So I looked for them to stick onto something else.  Finally settled for Cole.  Also, found a BUNCH of upgrades to Bianca down in the Deep Roads.  Varric will have a lot of damage ability when we eventually go to hunt down Solas.

From the Wikia:

Kadan: Literally, "where the heart lies." An all-purpose word for a "person one cares about," including colleagues, friends and loved ones. Sometimes also "the center of the chest."

God, even Qunari words are weird and contradictory.

IB:  My Kadan, oh my Kadan.

Inquisitor:  Awww you are so sweet!

IB:  No, I was talking about the Center of my Chest.

Inquisitor;

I had one PT where I told Viv to kiss off at her salon.  It was glorious. The look on her face was priceless.  I admit to doing some meta gaming in that PT though.  I knew going into that one I was going to be all  "Free the mages! The Chantry can suck it!"

And the tone of her voice as she tells you to enjoy.  The bitter dissapointment.  It was like 'ha ha!'  And no meta gaming about it that is who Kara is as a person.  Ironically towards the end of Inquisition she might have been a bit more keen on actually recruiting her.  And if I do do a second playthrough with her I think I will.  Part of her character arc for Inqusition was making her from biterly anti Chantry to at least questioning all of her beliefs.  Something I was only partially successful in in dialog but...she got along with Cassandra well enough to where she has to see some members of the Chantry as at least being good.

Funnily enough, my canon mage Caitlyn recruited Viv but they hate each other.  Viv rearranged her furniture and everything.  I wasn't trying to get on her bad side, but she hated all of Caitlyn's decisions from free mages to judgements to who was made ruler or Orlais.  I'm sure it made her really angry when softened Leliana was made Divine.

I really wanted Ben to hate her and vice versa.  He is an Equatarian and sort of pro circle, but also wanting more mage freedom also.  So he and Vivienne should have clashed yet it was all an awful lot of 'Greatly Approves' and 'well dones'.  Ben wanted to imitate Cassandra (disgusted noise)  Sadly he can never match his once-and-soon-to-be-girlfriend.
