I finished my second run of the Descent earlier today with my superhero DW Assassin Natalia. There were a lot of exciting moments and I took many screen caps during the last half to cherish. I have a few pretty ones to share tonight, but I'll be posting a full recap with all of my pics tomorrow 
I did the joint rule my first play through because my argument was that Alli would balance out her more...noble tendencies..with kindness and compassion...yet she would balance out his kindness and compassion with cold hearted neccessity required to rule a Kingdom like Ferelden. Yet, after other playthroughs where she literally stabls you in the back...I am not sure I would ever do that again.
I think I managed 4 of the 5 different options in games I actually played, though I've used all 5 as imports into DAI. The only one I don't think I played is Alistair ruling alone. I either marry him off to Anora (and in one game he really hated me for that) or I play femCousland and she marries him. I also had a male Cousland who married Anora (and romanced Leliana and did the ritual with Morrigian - what can I say, he got around 
) and also Anora ruling alone since my Warden didn't want to force Al to do something he didn't want to do.
Depending on how I play the game will determine whether I like Anora or not. Sometimes, I think she's a real b....other times, she's just what Ferelden needs.
I was kinda hoping I still had a save from Dofni's game, where Blackwall's big reveal hadn't occurred yet, but sadly I don't. I wanted to see if anything happened, like, "don't worry, Blackwall's a warden and can save you from the taint, right Blackwall? Blackwall? Hey, where did he go?"I got my mods re-installed (just a few: the char icon and jammies - which look way brighter now - plus the amulet of power unfix) and what's the first thing I see upon loading up my latest Tanith save? The Descent is now available.
So, she went to the war table to get it set up, then headed to Undercroft for a major crafting spree. Tanith, Blackwall, Sera, and Bull all got new armor plus upgrades. Blackwall also got a new axe complete with master cleansing rune for taking out darkspawn faster (hopefully). Then she did a quick run-around Skyhold to talk to everyone (except Leliana*) and took her newly upgraded crew to the Storm Coast. I decided to take the long way there this time rather than quick-travel via the map or war table. Current game state is pre-Adamant, so Tanith doesn't yet know that Blackwall isn't really a Warden.
*Not sure why but I decided this game to never talk to Leliana. The only exceptions have been unavoidable cutscenes and turning in secrets at the ball. Somewhere along the way I realized this was not a good idea in a game where I recruited the templars, since it means I won't be able to activate any of the Calpernia story missions. Oh well....I don't really like her anyway.

) but I know I upgraded all DD skills, which I shouldn't have, because Parry ist stupid.

Made a new Fem Inquisitor today! Breaking my Mage obsession and actually going with a DW Rogue on Nightmare mode for the first time ever! Pleased with the way she came out.
This inquisiter looks really awesome. Frankly I don't know why but I like how african american guys and girls can look in a BIOWARE game. I just don't know why. I really gotta post mine when I can. Lol. I should post Kaz'Dorah from DAO.

Lissa's been running around trying to wrap up quests and I did manage to take a good reverse selfie standing in a waterfall. ROTF when I realized why Dorian will always have the particular mustache he has in every playthrough. Nice Easter egg. Reminds me of the barbershop quartets that used to do church suppers.
Bonus points if you can name the location.
Thanks for the concern. I'm still not touching my 360 until I find a way to keep my system cool. With it being 102 degrees where I live it's not going to help my system run better but run worse.
Not to cheat but as far as the screenie goes i'll give four guesses:
1: Forbbiden Oasis. i kind of doubt it because the trees aren't that close apart.
2: A treehouse in JOH. The place is very lavish with trees so getting a view like this seems possible.
3: Exalted plains. Through some of the skulls you can get something like this if you know where to look. However like Oasis there are some non tree spots so I am very unsure.
4: Forbidden Meadows. It's a very tree oriented place but...It's very green there...
I'm going to go with #2.

Knockout Bomb You hurl a grenade containing a powerful concoction that put nearby enemies to sleep. Sleeping enemies awaken after taking damage.
You asking about the "blood splatter one" made me think of Mark of Death, cause there's no blood on Knockout Bomb.
Perhaps the biggest revelation of all in Descent:
On the one hand this makes a lot of sense and actually fits in well with established DA lore.
On the other hand it kind of sounds like 'we are actually all the same!' pandering where everything is diluted into one meshy beige color.

Also... I was going to wait till the end of the month... But I couldn't wait. I ordered Last Flight, The Stolen Throne, The Calling, Asunder and The Masked Empire. They should be there this week

I just find very little redeeming about Loghain, no matter how much he loves Anora. He still lets his logic get overrulled by zealous patriotism - even when he sees the truth right before him, he never backs down from his position. I'm never sad to kill him off. Hills convinced Alistair to sleep with Morrigan so neither of them would have to die. In the end Hillary remained on as Chancellor and essentially ran Fereldan. A mage running the country. Heh.
I'm on to Awakenings now! I think I will add this DAO info the keep and change my Inquisition world state. Current world state has Elissa Cousland married to Alistair, so this Amell state will have some differences. And Morrigan's kid Kieran a royal bastard in both. Kieran Therin. That's terrible.

Tiz ok. Since the icon was so small from it's initial starting post it looked like a blood splotch but when expanded to large size I see it as a gernade. Lol. Kind of another reason why I am more of a console gamer than PC. PC icons if small make me misinterpet what icons are.
On the subject is KNOCKOUT BOMB at all useful? I usually skip it because some stun oriented stuff like this doesn't work against certain people. Like for instance if your playing a mage on NIGHTMARE on DAI the LIGHTNING pool is bloody useless if you play the mage storyline because 75% of the red templar units (stealth guys, the armored dudes, the hunchback looking guys and the giant crystal guys) will only take the damage aspect of the attacks but the 'STUN's or whatever the powers include with upgrades will not work because they are 'IMMUNE'. I usually snag the bottom middle in SUBTERFUGE and the bottom right in the DWK pool for my DWK inquisitor, DWK Sera or DWK Cole.

I'm shocked you were able to get Alister to marry Anora (unless you had super high charisma and researched the chat pool all of the way) because the only way it seems you can get Alister to usually marry Anora is to have either your Warden or champion (I usually pick Sten and he is ALWAYS down for killing Logain because he says "About time" with a smile on his face).
(BTW this is how they would show up in DAI if you play the mage storyline).
However after giving some thought in a way I kind of felt he made a good decision by retreating because they were fighting a no win fight at Ostagar and I kind of agreed with Logain Calen was being over confident about how the battle would play out. If Logain stayed for the battle, Anora would of been killed and Denerim would of been fully sacked since they would of had no military power to speak of. Off this subject I know someone started a thread talking about peoples thoughts of Logain. It's a good thread and I feel there is no right or wrong to what people say about him and why they have spared or killed him.
DAA was really good and was worth buying in disc form. Honestly I should get back to DAO to play my elf warden gal and go super bad because I want to kill off Liliana and kill of Morrigan in the WITCH HUNT DLC.

It's a good song. I think this was the very first version of the song ever made. I can never place band. I don't own THE GRADUITE to know. I own WATCHMEN. I keep thinking GREATFUL DEAD but I may be wrong.

"Sound of Silence" was originally written and performed by Simon and Garfunkel in 1964. The remastered version of it *was* in Watchmen, though !
