...get to the first camp so you can use the shop to get loads of money for your loot.

Or you could just headcanon that there's a blockage stopping further exploration, and you keep checking back but it takes them a long time to clear it.

I believed Gaider says the events of Inquisition covers around three years.  Unoficially of course but that is what he figures the time frame to be.

I thought there'd been some backpedalling on that. It feels like months to me, anyway.

Oh? Really? That's really good to know! But I have to update my fanfic timeline... 

Oh I know that feeling.  My first fic with Ben takes place in like 9:42 Dragon 'a couple months after the game.'.  My fic with Kara takes place in 9:45. I gave it about a year after the main game, at least according to Gaider...and someone did a chart with the distances between the various points in Inquisition which seemed to back up Gaider's claims.

Ugh, I'm so happy! It may sound silly, but like I said before, I have a really really bad memory and as I started the DA franchise with DAI, I wanted to play again with my first character (also my canon inquisitor) with the new worldstate I just set up. As I didn't have any save before the attack of Haven, I had to recreate my quizzy...

 

I was really afraid I wouldn't be able to create the same character, but I did! There are probably some differences...but I think they quite look alike!

Finished reading DA Asunder! Loved this story featuring Cole, Rhys and Evangeline   It definitely expands their backstories and events leading up to Inquisition. Also, thank you Gilli-chan for giving it high praise. You've been an influence for me to read this novel.

 

I wish during Inquisition. the Inquisitor gets to meet Rhys and Evangeline personally instead of them being mentioned in war table missions. Plus it would've been nice to see Cole reunite with them. I understand Skyhold wouldn't be an ideal place depending on who the Inquisitor allies with (mages or templars), but I wish a meeting would happen in some way.

I'm half way through the final battle in Denerim, and what a pleasant surprise.

I'd expected to only see the army you've gathered during cutscenes. To be able to summon them during battle is just the damn coolest thing.

You're welcome I'm happy you like the book too, I can't remember the last book about mages that was such a good read.

I found another gear! I really had to work for it too. Also found a couple of barrels full of loot waaaaaay down below one of the constructed bridges. Sigh. Only two more to go, but I've got no friggin' clue where they might be.

Actually that tweet he confirmed a few weeks ago was actually talking about how long DAi took to develop. Someone took it in the wrong context.

 

Interestingly enough 2-1/2 to 3 years in-game-time to me still feels about right to me personally considering trekking from one end of the continent to the other rather often

That was pre-DLC though, now I tend to tack another year onto it, sadly the DLC doesn't fit anywhere! since epilogue says 1 month after Cory is killed the Divine is 'crowned' so the DLC, neither, time-wise seem to feel they fit into one month, ok maybe one of them not both, post-game. I tend to fit them in between Arbor Wilds and Cory-kill but even then it really feels odd/out of place.. What they should have done is not have the "one month" statement in the epilogue! it is literally the only specific time-frame w're given the entire game...

Granted Tressa's game is on hard not nightmare but I breezed through it. I imagine Aidan as a DW rogue on nightmare could have more problems but then Mark of Death plus a Thousand Cuts from Sera should do it some serious damage once I expose the lyrium node or whartever it's called.

 

Edit; Ah I see Rascoth agrees with me, but I've seen many people agree with Spork. I guess it depends on how you play tactically...

Found it pretty easy. Definitely way easier that the fights before that one. I didn't have MoD nor Thousand Cuts, yet I was able to take it down quite easily.
