I'd like the Warden to at least be part of that, even if it it's similar to how they used Hawke.

One thing that is sorta annoying is how no one seems to care about the red lyrium. Why isn't Varric screaming in my ear every day: "Cory may be gone, but there's still lotsa red s*** all over." Someone has to do something about that, unless Bioware's just going to retcon it to oblivion.

We have had two DLCs and neither of them have been post ending and neither of them have had that much to do with....well yeah...*ahem*.  But really there has not been that much time to *worry* about Red Lyrium in the wake of Inquisition considering either DLC could happen *before* or *after* the main game.  Its a bit hard to do. :P

Yeah, I was sort of wondering about that too. There's a crap ton in Emprise du Lion, and no one did anything about it besides break them in order to make camps but their presence is still there. Did The Descent DLC explain what Red Lyrium was? We know what Lyrium is now.

EDIT: It feels weird that Bioware would let their DA:II protagonist possibly die in Inquisition. A bit too soon, maybe?

Since we know what Lyrium is...and since we know what it means to be Red Lyrium in Inquisition proper...we know by default what Red Lyrium is.

Well, there is that silly pair working in EdL, trying to figure out how to get rid of Red Lyrium (not that they make any progress).

But it's true. The fact that everyone forgot about Red Lyrium after Cory is gone is a little unsettling *says it the same way Quizzy would*

Isn't Red Lyrium hard to get rid of once it grows on a specific location?

You know since making all of these connections between Lyrium/ Red Lyrium something creepy has been occuring to me.  Two words:

Yeah, it's possible and  not unlike something Bioware usually does. I'm hoping they won't but it's a possibility.

I find the idea highly unlikely, for BioWare to actually go that route.  But we know that

I remember someone saying that a spirit that is strong enough is able to mostly maintain their personality, and it seems that most beings end up in the Fade when they die. If this is true then I'd bet that Hawke would make some kind of reappearance in the future, some kind of ghosty or something. I don't know if the same would happen to <insert Warden>.

I'm not in a mood to dig in twitter thread, but I'm pretty sure one of the devs mentioned that Hawke's fate (if left in the Fade) is unknown. Not dead. Unknown.

There were people joking that it would be big plot twist if Hawke left in the Fade survived while the one who went to Weisshaupt was dead.

So that is my Descent adventure. Totally worth it. :D

Yay! Congrats on finishing the Descent! Is Dofni Cadash your 2H Reaver or that's a different Inquisitor?

Thank you ^_^ ...second attempt was easier for sure. Dofni is a Templar. If I had known how awesome reavers can be, from playing one in MP, I would have chosen that spec for her, but when it was time to choose all I had to go on was Bull's squishiness, so I thought 'no way' heh. Cirwen is my reaver, but plan is for Sword and Shield, just to do something different.

I felt the same at first seeing how often Bull dies, but after experiencing it with Alessandra II it's awesome to play as. Especially if the Inquisitor is portrayed as a dark character. The thing I had to be careful with is overusing dragon rage, because it dangerously consumes a lot of health. Rampage and devour help restore that.

Are you planning to use your sword and shield Reaver as a tank or deal massive damage with another warrior (ie. Cassandra, Blackwall) to tank?

Just wondering, because Blackwall is my tank while Alessandra II lays all sorts of damage to enemies.

I think Blackwall's the only warrior with an ugly armor when the armor goes up to "Sturdy" and "Superior" for Tier 3 armors. I keep Blackwall on just Battlemaster Mail and Armor with no adjective added.

Oooh, I would love that. Great twist and would really mess up a lot of people. I foresee a future with lots of dead Hawke's and angry players filling the forum with their tears  :P

Sigh. Outta likes again.

I guess maybe MP Reaver is a bit different, but then I have Heal-on-Kill gear equipped on her as well, so Dragon rage so far hasn't been a problem; in fact I can practically spam it. I guess I'll probably have to get out of that habit when I go back to single-player

Not really sure yet what style of combat I'm gonna use with Cirwen. I'm still very early in her game -- and trying to figure out how to get by shielded Templars without returning to camp to restock potions after every fight <_< -- Am thinking maybe Cassie for a tank, since from a role-playing POV, she and Cirwen are developing a grudging respect for eachother (at the moment. Will it last? ) and I haven't recruited Blackwall yet. I'm guessing the first time he flirts with Cirwen, things aren't gonna go well for him  I guess reavers are more suited to being damage dealers?

I like her eyes! It's cool that in DAI you actually can make eyes that are two different colours at once. It would be even cooler if you could make each eye a different colour, too...
