Look mum! No health potions!
The Mark of Death/Thousand Cuts combo strikes again. No boss is safe...
I like her eyes! It's cool that in DAI you actually can make eyes that are two different colours at once. It would be even cooler if you could make each eye a different colour, too...
Actually there was eye colour in DAO that looked like it was two different colours. Blue and green ![]()
But yeah, I'm really happy that we can pick up our own eye colours (even though I use basic ones).
Leliana usually doesn't reveal on what she really knows. It's up to the Inquisitor to figure things out.
Impossible to do when you have no evidence to figure from. That's what spymasters are for....to dig up the evidence people don't want anyone else to know about.
Spoilers from TME
These aren't things the Inquisitor can "figure out" because they never come up in conversation. But they are things that Leliana, in her position as left hand and later as spymaster, should have ways to find out and pass along.
Legend of Rys
Chapter 10 - The Calm
Spoiler
for Bann Teagan and Ser Perth in the same post.
*wonders if anyone ever made a Teagan or Perth romance mod for Origins* ![]()
I guess maybe MP Reaver is a bit different, but then I have Heal-on-Kill gear equipped on her as well, so Dragon rage so far hasn't been a problem; in fact I can practically spam it. I guess I'll probably have to get out of that habit when I go back to single-player
Not really sure yet what style of combat I'm gonna use with Cirwen. I'm still very early in her game -- and trying to figure out how to get by shielded Templars without returning to camp to restock potions after every fight-- Am thinking maybe Cassie for a tank, since from a role-playing POV, she and Cirwen are developing a grudging respect for eachother (at the moment. Will it last?
) and I haven't recruited Blackwall yet. I'm guessing the first time he flirts with Cirwen, things aren't gonna go well for him
I guess reavers are more suited to being damage dealers?
I also have heal on kill gear on Alessandra II. It helps along with rampage and devour.
I was the same with Cassandra at the beginning, but she was my tank until Blackwall replaced her. Combat wise, I don't think it matters if companions hate your Inquisitor. If they're useful in your party, bring them. About role playing, it would be interesting to hear the heated arguments and tension being felt amongst team members ![]()

I see your point. I was wrong about what I said earlier.
I never thought about Morrigan's Eluvian acting as a backdoor into Skyhold with Briala also having access. It sounds dangerous that Skyhold can be attacked from within by assassins and future enemies.

What's really scary is that no one mentions Morrigan's mirror as a security risk. Not even Cullen.
Not even after it can be used to go to the Fade! ![]()
And, based on the ending slide (no wagon or any other baggage) she didn't take it with her when she left. Of course, based on my post-game wanderings in the garden, she didn't actually leave. ![]()

Cullen mentioned in all my playthroughs so far that he doesn't like having it in Skyhold, but when he brought the subject up with Morrigan she said he was being unreasonable. I'm also going to guess is the only way to open/use Morrigan's one (which I assume she takes with her when she leaves) from either side is with Morrigan's key, not with Briala's key. Morrigan does say each one that is locked has it's own key (so, many different keys then for the eluvians, not one key fits all)

Cullen also expressed concern in my previous play throughs. Then when he talked to Morrigan about it, she told him to make a wish that's he's riding on a griffon.
Good point about the different keys to different eluvians.

Haha yeah the Griffon lines were optional thanks to which Dialogue choice you make, and were about him having a fleet of griffons under his command if he wished hard enough. That was hilarious though "see! now that.. probably isn't true, but it would be fun" *laughs at her Inquisitor*

Well, the Grey Wardens used to ride griffons into battle. I think it would be cool for the Inquisition to have such a magnificent fleet ![]()

Yes! Though I'd prefer my Well-drinking Inquisitor to get a pet high dragon haha. and, thanks to a DA book we know Griffons are not quite as extinct as we thought!
Well i got my fan and I thought it was helping my 360 out but...when I was starting to make progress in JOH with Chasimess Winters....
Off to the shop ye go 360!
><
I'm going to be out a little longer.
><.
It was the end of Act 2.
Tho I agree Warden Carver makes more sense, I prefer him as a Templar. I always headcanon (yeah, I replace logic with poor headcanoning) that my Hawke meet Stroud later either thanks to Varric (who seems to know everyone) or Anders (when Stround came to visit him and tried to bring him back to Grey Wardens).
Congratulations!
Haha, omg. I can't imagine you with Hulk icon
Thank you. One of the perks of this job working for a tour company is travel for significantly reduced costs. And free food. These people cater lunch twice a week.
Varric does know everyone. I'll grant you that. I do have some things I prefer in the realm of head canon, but I'm cool with a lot of the explanations in game. I just think now since I've played Inquisition that some choices make more sense to me now. Before Inquisition the Wardening just seemed like a convenience thing. Way to play the slow game with that one, BioWare.
I had this realization that Hawke is related to the Warden. She is an Amell on her mom's side. Hillary is an Amell. And at the beginning of act II Cullen is still smitten with Hills. That's kind of cute, but kind of weird.. I mean, it's been.. what... four years now since Hawke has been in Kirkwall? Poor guy needs a hobby. Or a woman. Or both. But don't worry about Cullen too much..

Hmm, I don't remember talking to Cullen about that. Probably the one time I skipped over him.

SpoilerBesides, given that Morrigan had no idea how Kieran did what he did, I'm not going to consider her an expert on them by any means.![]()
ah yes, but Kieran isn't in everyone's game. Also "That would require immense power to do" is what Morrigan says, since he directed it into the Fade, not the crossroads or any in-between place. Makes me think maybe Flemeth was responsible for it, not Keiran, and she is definitely able to do something like that.

It's been my experience that Inquisition tries pretty hard to make you get along with everyone. maybe it's just because I'm a big softie when it comes to my companionsI also have heal on kill gear on Alessandra II. It helps along with rampage and devour.

+ 1 for plaidweave DorianSo got a few Descent pics to share, ok only 4 and one is simply a black+white version of another haha.

Good luck with your 360, NaclynE I'm sure you'll be playing again soon.
Haven't been on a whole lot lately, working on a project and not much time to play myself, but the weekend is already here, so why not start a few hours early. I did take a few screens of the epic Fade-touched spider fight, but then realized it was to dark to see something hiding and running anyway, so I just decided to wait and deal with it in the morning.
I don't want to get too deep into the Masked Empire spoilers, since I recently ordered the books and should start reading them in about a week... but:

Sooo... I was drawing. Again. This time in A4 format, so I could scan it. My canon Warden, Lyall Amell.
Spoiler
Also got this funny glitch with Silent Sister, new multiplayer character. She was dancing like that in main mp screen
Spoiler
I really like your drawings! Your warden is so cute, and those eyes ![]()
Seeing all those great artworks here made me want to start drawing again ; I'm working on my warden too, I should post it here soon
In the meantime, I continued my journey with my old/new quizzy ; as I imported the wrong worldstate, I had to recreate him... again *facepalm*. Anyway, now everything is fine, I checked it with Leliana, asking her about the warden (her romance) and it made me realise that indeed, she totally forgets about her lover when she thinks about becoming the new devine, what a shame

Yeah, I would really like to follow logic. Because if you think about it, the only one making sense is Hawke and his/her friend, Warden Stroud (with sibling as a Warden). Rest is just... far-fetched. Loghain or Alistair? How Hawke met them? They're not even Free Marches' Wardens. Still, even though it doesn't make sense, I like playing with them as "Warden friend".
To tell the truth if I was following logic all the time I shouldn't use half of the choices available in Keep ![]()
Yes, even Leandra mentions it in Act 1 (if you ask her). One of the banters with Tallis also mentions that.
Well, if you don't romance Cullen in Inquisition and have female mage Warden he sounds like he still has feelings for her.
Hmm, I don't remember talking to Cullen about that. Probably the one time I skipped over him.

I think that talk comes up after Arbor Wilds... or maybe after Morrigan shows Eluvian? I need to check my saves.

Yep, it comes up after Arbor Wilds, after his praying scene.

I remember Briala proposing to the Inquisitor about having access to the eluvians and her network if the Inquisition allies with her. Not sure if Briala was serious about it or just playing the Game like everyone else.
Prior to reading Masked Empure, I usually ally with Celene/Briala reunited. Gain Celene's imperial army, high court approval and Briala's network and eluvians. It sounded great back then, but now... That could backfire...

Makes me think maybe Flemeth was responsible for it, not Keiran, and she is definitely able to do something like that.
Flemmeth also waited to see who drinks from the well of sorrows. If it's Morrigan, she seems surprised. But it's also worrisome that after what happens to Flemmeth in the epilogue, it may spark trouble on what Solas plans to do.

It's been my experience that Inquisition tries pretty hard to make you get along with everyone. maybe it's just because I'm a big softie when it comes to my companions...but so far in Cirwen's game, and it's my intention to continue with this as much as I can, she's pretty much uncaring about what any of the humans think. So from a role-playing POV is as the "test voice" says in the CC: "As long as the job gets done, I don't care about the rest."
Seems though, that Blackwall, with champion spec, is a better tank among the warriors. he was pretty amazing in my just-finished Descent PT. But then Cassie was The Man -- so to speak-- any time I've had her tank it up, too.
See above answer.
My previous Inquisitors got along with their inner circle. I mean everyone has to work together regardless of differences to stop Coryphe-what's-his-face. But Alessandra II doesn't care. She told Blackwall and Dorian to shut it when their argument reached a boiling point. There's tension within her inner circle, I'll have more on that in an update later today ![]()
Cassandra has been my number one tank too. I just felt in Aless' run, Blackwall should take that spot for a change.
I think that talk comes up after Arbor Wilds... or maybe after Morrigan shows Eluvian? I need to check my saves.
