Okay, that settles it. Forget master Dennet and the horses and that last Hinterlands astrarium, I'm going to the Storm Coast next.

That's the Fallow Mire though :P

And Vivienne is just fabulous, darling. Don't be such a barbarian.

Anyway, Nang Fa, Cassandra, Dorian and Vivienne also slew the dragon in Crestwood. It was a much tougher fight :P mostly because I only had level 1 focus powers instead of level 3, but the beast still fell. Also finished Varric's personal quest, after leaving Bianca waiting in Valammar for hours and forged an alliance with the Qunari.

Tomorrow I'll do Cassandra's personal guest, then some Orlesian party... and then I'll get out of my mind wasted and hope to see january 2nd.

Harold's had a good day for the Inquisition. His agent-acquiring prowess continues, recruiting both Iron Bull and his Chargers, and the Blades of Hessarian for the cause. In my first PT, my little elf mage didn't craft a Mercy's Crest medallion until after she'd killed all the Blades. Oops. She had terrible luck with agents, though. Harold is doing it right.

Quest markers on the Storm Coast map are showing me several veins of red lyrium, and a few grey warden-y things Blackwall might be interested in, so I'm considering abandoning the Coast for now because I don't really want to swap out Cassie and someone else for Varric and Blackwall just yet. Too much hair for this guy  Besides, Bull and Viv have only just begun their excellent banter. Maybe I'll go back to the 'lands and finally meet up with Dennet now... or go to Redcliffe. Just about used up all my war table missions, other than Cullen gathering gold by hiring out the troops as escorts... uh, okay that doesn't sound quite right. :P

He is quite good at it, though, getting more gold each time than either Josie or Leliana.

Think I could craft him one of these?

The bed Lyell has at the moment is Orlesian and looks like Sebastian's armour. Varric is teasing him about it. We need a Ferelden bed for a Ferelden castle. The guy in Val Royeaux only sells Orlesian and Dwarven beds. Does anyone know how to get a Ferelden bed? Please, please, please. Also in Crestwood we found a Ferelden banner crown. I have Ferelden banners up but what do I do with a banner crown? And how do I? I love you all (wink wink) :P

Finished the game finally...woohoo! Let's just say the last fight a bit underwhelming, with just Cory and his pet dragon. I was expecting something.....er, more time consuming? Morrigan came through for us and weakened the dragon enough that we could finish it off. The sequence bugged out the first time, although having Cory go from 75% health down to about 5% without me having to do anything except stare at my black screen going "  " was kind of nice.  Still, I reloaded so I could kill him proper. Solas disappeared after the fight but the rest of us went home to party and enjoy a few moments of free time.

I'm a bit on the fence with the voiced epilogues. Whoever is speaking doesn't always emphasize the words I would if reading something to myself, which can be a bit jarring. After that, I sat through the very long list of credits since

Spoiler
Makes me think it would have been way more interesting for my Dalish elf who romanced Solas to have drunk from the Well instead of letting Morrigan do it, especially if they happen to meet again.

Now I'm in post-game mode, hunting the last dragons in Thedas. Just killed the one in Crestwood, and now we're back at the Storm Coast about to take a boat ride. After that, there's just the two left in Emprise (and that final landmark one of them is guarding).

Some final game stats, right after the epilogue:

Rogue/Assassin level 24

Inquisition level 17

Gold: 104K

Divine: Cassandra (yay, not psycho Leliana)

Mosaics: none completed :( Closest is 11/12

Well, I killed the Abyssal High Dragon last night...and then I had to kill it again because it bugged out and wouldn't actually die (despite having no health...). I had to reload and beat it down again, doh!

104k gold?  ... holy crap, you should just go buy some mosaics for the castle, heh. I didn't even break 15k at the end of my first game. What can I say, my little elf mage was a sucker for gear schematics and castle decorations -- especially fancy Orlesian beds. Ashamed to say I never even found the 'mystery box' merchant in Val Royeaux. Harold knows where he is though. He won't be spending any money on fancy beds... uh, unless Cassie likes that sort of thing. Anyway, as soon as I get enough disposable cash, I'm gonna buy it this time.

Is that at the beginning of the game? Kinda looks like that big rift hasn't been closed yet.

Bummer about the flu. I can kinda sympathize. I mean, I don't have the flu, but I won't be partying either.

In my first playthrough I had over 50 000 coin. In my current playthrough, I have over 65 000 coin. With all that extra coin I have, I should be able to afford a new set of clothing to walk around in while at skyhold. Maybe in a dlc

After getting use too, the controlls on the ps4 by running around Haven I headed off to my first mission to see a Mother Gilles in the Hitherlands, my lord she seems to good to be true for a chantry nun. She sees magic as dangrous as a sword but still see me as a person. As shocked as my mages are to hear her talk she finds this a bit of fresh air. Hopefuly, I can make her the Divine instead of Cassandra and Lileana back at Haven I met up with Cullen to have a quick talk with him about himself filrted with him. Why did I just say I hope we could go to my quarters to talk about his report that was a dumb firlt line but better that some of the firlt lines that some of the male Mages had used on her at a dance they had thrown. :P

(Yesterday event)

Finally finish my first playthrough. Get a huge hug from Cullen in front of everyone (oh oh oh, who say that he's timid? Kissing on the battlement in front of all soldiers passing behind, hugs in front of everyone, nuh uh).

In any case, this journey with my beloved inquisitor Elena Trevelyan had come to the end. Thank you Bioware for this 100 hours pure joy, it had been a pleasure.

(Today)

Can't stop myself, making a new Inquisitor: Luthiel Lavellan. :P

About the epilogue

Spoiler
That's a good point about the Well. Think if I make another Lavellan to romance him, she's going to be giving it a try. And keeping her vallaslin.

We went back to the Hissing Wastes and picked up the arms and legs for Cassandra's Battlemaster armor, and then went to take care of Samson. However, our delay allowed Samson to escape. We found Maddox, however, and he had destroyed most everything to prevent us to buy Samson time. Perhaps we underestimate Tranquils. Dagna, was all bubbly having created a rune that she said will destroy Samson's armor. Yeah, right. Okay, Dagna, you can't make me a masterwork suit of armor, but you can create a destructive rune? We'll see. My scouts tell me that Samson's on the run and is down to a small force.

I forgot to add - I found out how powerful demons are. I was at 3/4 health in my new armor. A big demon did a one hit kill. Holy sh*t.

We went to the Winter Palace.

OOC - Find thirty pieces of gossip to boost your court approval. - For f***'s sake, Bioware, I want to play the story, not search around looking for 30 goddam pieces of gossip and running back and forth to Leiliana getting my court approval up. And now it's going to drop while we're following the trail. Screw it. I don't give a sh*t. It probably doesn't matter anyway. I have a save so if it results in the assassination of the Empress, I can reload and find all of those juicy pieces. Please don't ever do this crap again. I've smoked a bowl of weed and it's difficult enough to focus on what I'm doing. I spent another two hours getting looking for stuff, getting lost in the palace and only finding 9. This is why we have to have walkthorughs so we know where this stuff is. Since we need walk throughs and use them why even bother putting them there in the first place? Just get on with the plot FFS. Make it so we eavesdrop on like four conversations, turn those in, and be done with it. Find the crucial evidence and don't have our rep drop while we're looking. It penalizes those who actually play the game without cheating -- yes looking at a walkthrough is cheating. I cheat when I play, but I wasn't last night. Now my rep is down at 56 and I'm running through the elven quarters.

Morrigan showed herself.

I went to bed.

Didn't have enough time to go deal with the Orlesian empire's struggles, so instead I did all the quests for Frederic, slew the Abyssal High Dragon after tanking some focus (which is a lot easier with the Inquisitor upgrade and a superior belt of focus :P) and recruited Frederic for the Inquisition.

Then figured I'd try beating Vinsomer too after quickly tanking focus in the Emerald Graves. Two Thousand Cuts gets it down to about half HP, but then it just slaughters me.

Might be because I'm getting rather tipsy by now and it's party time.

For that region would be the Pride demon. At least that's the only one that I know of that you're describing.

I'm playing on nightmare at level 22, and just killed both of those large Pride demons in the fade without any problem.
