Good luck with your 360! Let's hope your troubles with it will end soon!

That sounds really good! I hope this job will be what you want it to be :)

Yeah, I would really like to follow logic. Because if you think about it, the only one making sense is Hawke and his/her friend, Warden Stroud (with sibling as a Warden). Rest is just... far-fetched. Loghain or Alistair? How Hawke met them? They're not even Free Marches' Wardens. Still, even though it doesn't make sense, I like playing with them as "Warden friend".

To tell the truth if I was following logic all the time I shouldn't use half of the choices available in Keep

Yes, even Leandra mentions it in Act 1 (if you ask her). One of the banters with Tallis also mentions that.

Well, if you don't romance Cullen in Inquisition and have female mage Warden he sounds like he still has feelings for her.

When I set up my DAI world state, most of what I picked was a combo of head canon and what I remembered doing in most of my PTs all those years ago. So logically for me Alistair is always king.  Loghain is dead because I hate his stinky cheese face (to me he looks like he is always smelling some heinously stinky cheese.. he's always so pinched up in the face and crabby looking).

I will say that in my existing DAI world state Hawke is a S&S Warrior and Carver is dead.  Bethany is a circle mage.  I cannot see her as a Gray Warden.  She is just to sweet for that life.  I don't know if sweet is the right word.  But she seems like the kind of girl who would watch kitten videos on the internet (don't judge.  I love a good kitten video on the internet.  I'd also make a terrible Warden - I know my limitations).  So I always let her get taken to the Circle. I actually think it would be an interesting twist if Carver were the Warden in DAI.  Which Hawke sibling gets eaten by the giant spider?  Such deliciously evil thought with that...  But I guess he doesn't have enough rank for that. Plus it would be interesting to see how their existing rivalry played out with the whole "blood magic is bad/a warden's gotta do what they gotta do" dynamic.

All my human females (save for one) romance Cullen.  Most of them have been mages. I know he has a not so secret thing for girls who shoot lightning from their fingertips. ;-).  I guess he is my DAI canon romance for my humans.  Dorian for the males and Iron Bull for my elves.

Anyhow friends, hope everyone has a fun Saturday planned.  It's gonna be 80 and sunny here in Chicago, so this broad is gonna go out and soak up some vitamin D and get a "mama's got a job again" pedicure.  :)

-snip-

My first world state was exact copy of one of my DAO/DA2 playthrough (I deleted it in a middle). Since then I used my own pts only twice - for my 'canon' and 'alternate world' pts. Rest is just me opening Keep and creating random world states with what I want to see.

Yeah, she becomes very bitter if you make her Warden. When she is in the Circle she sounds like she finally found her place... and some peace of mind.

As for Warden sibling in DAI... I do feel like most on my Hawkes wouldn't even as about it and just sacrifice themselves to save their little brother/sister.

Same here, when I create human female it's certain I'll be romancing Cullen. Oh and I agree. He has a thing for mages  :P I really enjoy those addictional pieces of dialogue we get if you're a mage.

Just finished another DA2 playthrough, blood mage, romanced none and sided with the templars.

Killed Anders and turned Fenris to Danarius, saved me from a headache, and had Carver also die in the deep roads.

And still no matter how many times i see Meredith crazy jump, i cannot but to think what the hell they were thinking it's just super awkward, it looks something from dragon ball, tis by far the weirdest thing in the series.

But it was good catching up with old Meredith.

She's Absolutely one of my favorite characters in the whole series so far, i like how much firm she is in her beliefs, and how she struggles within herself regarding her duty opposed by emotion and sympathy as we see in her debate with Orsino, she's self-conscious about her actions and motives, and aware of her surroundings even though both mages and templars conspire against her, it's impressive how much depth the writers were able to breath into her given we only interact with her during Act 3 which is fairly short.

I usually tend to have a balanced relationship with her, yet this time i went extreme and supported her all the way through.

I felt sorry for her at the end, but she had it coming.

Mayene "Snow White" Lavellan finished scouting of Emerald Graves. No more business there. No Red templars, no Freemen, no dragon... Well, maybe that haunted estate remains, but that can wait.

Also Sera encountered a very strange bug: while slaying the dragon she used her favourite Thousand Cuts and it didn't remove her focus. Two Thousand Cuts doesn't sound much cool, but the effect was great. :D

Yeah, I think Anders summed her up fairly well: she actually believes she's doing the right thing, no matter how hard it is. It's unfortunate she was corrupted and driven insane by the red lyrium. It would have made fighting her at the end a lot more grey if it was just her in there. I did like the twist, though, that the idol ended up back in Kirkwall. Varric's network really let him down.

I like her because of her voice. Very powerful and commanding. Jean Gilpin, her VA, did a wonderful job. I would like to hear her voice again. Maybe in the next ME game, and if not, the next DA game

As far as the character goes, I fully support her especially when playing as a mage.

She isn't used to do games no?

Am only familiar with her work as Meredith and in Skyrim.

Am hoping for Grey DeLisle for ME:A.

Thanks to all who I've been chatting on this thread about their play throughs, the Descent DLC and DA novels, but I now have an update on my malevolent Reaver Alessandra II.

Last time, she was still in the Hissing Wastes with Blackwall, Bull and Dorian and they're on their way to the Tomb of Fairel. So continuing on, they made it to the tomb and no surprise, they fought the Sandy Howler high dragon. The dragon wasn't much of a challenge, but a victory was a victory. The team later obtained the last treasures and Bull mentioned about no booby traps. "Why is that?" Alessandra asked.

"It's just plain Qunari," Bull quipped.

While clearing the remaining fade rifts and slaying a "legendary" beast, Iron Bull made another interesting observation. This time directed at Blackwall. "You always mention about Grey Wardens, but you don't sound like that's who you really are," he noted.

"What do you mean by that? I am who I say I am," Blackwall retorted.

"Have it your way. I am a people person," the Qunari countered with a glint in his eye.

The Warden officer blanched behind his helm. He noticed Alessandra watching him from the corner of her eye. 'Maker's breath... Are they on to me?' he worried to himself as they left the desert.

Arriving in Emprise du Lion, Bull returned to Skyhold and Sera was called to join the team. They first encountered Mistress Poulin, who foolishly assisted the Red Templars in taking Sahrnia's townspeople to work in the quarry. Then met with the late Empress' disgraced champion, Michel de Chevin, who's on a personal quest to destroy a demon called, Imshael. The Inquisitor scowled behind her crimson dragon helm at having to deal with such nonsense. But nonetheless, she took care of things her way.

Alessandra, Blackwall, Dorian and Sera initially routed the Red Templars in the Highgrove, Drakon Rise and Tower of Bone camps. Then moved on to rescuing the workers in Sarhnia's quarry. Also, they cleared the darkspawn and undead from Valeska's Watch, and obtained the last two Grey Warden artifacts much to Blackwall's gratefulness. But Dorian had a few hateful words to say to him resulting in a heated argument.

"Enough! Both of you!" the Inquisitor thundered her voice echoing in the abandoned cave.

Sera cringed.

"My apologies, Your Worship," Blackwall said inclining his head.

Dorian glared at the Warden and stormed off.

Before taking on Suledin Keep, Alessandra diverted to the Cradle of Sulevin to recover the Sulevin Blade. With the newly forged Elven greatsword in hand, Alessandra returned to Emprise du Lion to settle things once and for all.

Accompanying the Inquisitor this time were Blackwall, Iron Bull and Solas. They stormed Suledin Keep taking down each wave of Red Templars and two red lyium infected giants. But when they finally reached the demon, Imshael, things took an interesting turn.

"Ah, the Herald of Andraste. So nice to finally meet you," Imshael greeted with a bow.

Alessandra slowly approached the demon while the rest of her party stayed back.

Spoiler

"A demon..." Bull grunted with disgust, "and a talky one..."

"Ahem... Choice Spirit," the humanized demon corrected then went on to make his proposal to the Inquisitor.

Spoiler

"What kind of choice do I have?" Alessandra noted.

"Oh, let's see... Power? Riches? Virgins? Name your price and it shall be granted," Imshael replied folding his arms casually.

The Inquisitor chuckled studying the demon. You obviously want something in return. I'll give it to you. She then made her decision.

Spoiler

Around them, the remaining Red Templars fell.

"And they all lived happily ever after. It was nice doing business with you, Herald of Andraste," Imshael finished vanishing from sight.

Blackwall was stunned.

Solas and Iron Bull remained silent.

Alessandra ignored them as she ascended up the stairs to raise the Inquisition's flag on the keep.

Spoiler

Now that Suledin Keep and the rest of Emprise were under the Inquisition's possession, the Inquisitor returned to Sahrnia to arrest Mistress Poulin. She also found Michel de Chevin's body lying in the ruins of a destroyed home with an attached note from Imshael, "Just a friendly reminder: Choice Spirit."

Alessandra laughed softly, "That you are, Imshael."

Back in Skyhold, the Inquisitor laid her death sentence on Mistress Poulin. She smirked with satisfaction watching the noble cry and beg for her life as she was dragged away by the guards.

The rest of her inner circle looked on with displeasure.

Later, Cullen openly expressed his outrage during a war table meeting that went downhill concerning Ser Michel's demise. "A pity on Michel de Chevin's death?! Josephine, how can you say that?! His death is a stain on the Inquisition!"

"Cullen, please..." Josephine tried to explain.

"No! This was her doing!" the Commander seethed pointing an accusing finger at the Inquisitor.

"You're siding with a so called champion and disgraced chevalier?" Alessandra scoffed.

"Hang that! He could've been a valuable agent and mentor to our soldiers! Yet you allowed a demon to kill him!" Cullen shouted.

The Inquisitor squared her shoulders. Intense red eyes locking with Cullen's angry hazel ones. "have made my decision, Commander. Whether you like it or not. My word is final."

That said, she dismissed her advisors. The meeting coming to a close.

Josephine shakes her head as she gathered her notes and moved towards the great oak doors.

Leliana nodded to the Inquisitor and followed the Ambassador.

Cullen gave one last glare, leaving Alessandra alone.

With the war room empty, Alessandra wandered over to the large windows, plotting her next move.

There's more to come. None of you cannot stop me....

To be continued....

I love the mages, but is strange the Hero of ferelden, Champion of Kirkwall and the Inquisitor are all of they mages!

If a play a Warrior I can become a queen with Alistair, i love Alistair, but he has more interaction if stay with the wardens

I never played a lesbian, and i love Leliana, but her romance is so boring.

Is hard to decide, Leliana, Alistair king or Alistair warden :(

I always look forward to the further schemes and machinations of Alessandra II!

I had no idea! I never found that consequence of doing the deal with the demon.

Yeah, that's what happens when you choose one of Imshael's offers. It was fitting for this Inquisitor to get rid of Celene's ex champion thanks to Imshael. With Gaspard on Orlais' throne and has a strong alliance with the Inquisition, he rules unopposed ;)
