Aww, poor Fenris.  I could never do that to him. I did just leave Hawke in the Fade though, but he was default Hawke who didn't romance anyone. Hugged Varric, of course (and the scene didn't slow down to 1 fps for once).

 

HLTA was pretty easy since Tanith and crew were super-OP'd (level 23....ahem ). Heck, even the first few battles in Emprise have been easy too. I'm sure I'll get my comeuppance once I tackle the dragons though.

 

I noticed back in the main game that abilities seem to recharge a lot faster than during Descent. Anyone else notice this? I had a 15% cooldown amulet on Tanith the whole time too, but everything seemed to take forever to be available again.

She looks great! By your previous screenshots I'm guessing that your first language is Spanish. I should tell you that the word cannon means cañón. Canon with just one N is the word you want, just like in Spanish.

I never really paid much attention to the walls in SP  (if they're not full with Elven graffiti  ) also only noticed it in MP, because POTS!

 

Edit: What I wonder, there's a picture of a woman in Templar armor (don't have pic) is that Meredith? It looks like Meredith.

 

Fun fact: In german Meredith is voiced by Kerstin Sanders-Dornseif who also voices

I just found out that you can't cheat in Dragon Age 2 and import choices you didn't make through the DA Keep.

You use the regular save file instead. Just... damn it.

You see, I messed up a lot of things during this first run in DAO but I was hoping I could continue my canon main storyline by fixing everything the way I mentioned.

Now I have to wait until I play my canon Warden again, as I can't just do that twice in a row. I'll need a break first.

 Becoming the Knight Enchanter.  

 

Benjamin is now a Knight Enchanter.  *does a funky victory dance* oooohhhh yeah.    But in other news Did my first two judgements as the Inquisitor, attack by Goat, and Magister Alexius.  Gave him to the mages this time.  And last time too.  And also may've goofed on the war table.  The Quarnius motion failed in the Tevinter Senate and I always seem to remember it passing every time I have done it.  Talked to Dagna, and Ser Morris (and your qualifications.)  Looked for Threnn and couldn't find her for some reason.  THen onto the Western Approach for the self same collecting all the materials.  I tell you, this playthrough is just really frustrating.  The first one went so well, and so did the second one, just seems that Ben is a bit on the...squishy side.  Alas though I should be getting rid of that soon.  

 

Also in the vein and following my own advice I have been doing a lot of reading for the codexes and stuff, found a couple of interesting ones on Skyhold's construction  "We are the Inquistion" (ba du dum dum da da dum)

I think it always fails, but getting it passed isn't really the point. It's just to make some noise and give the Inquisition a presence in Tevinter.

 

In my own game, Tanith decided to make Erimond tranquil because....well, reasons. And of course mages from *somewhere* freaked out so she had Cullen send some veterans to tell them why this was the right thing to do. Solas hasn't been too happy with her lately either, since she recruited the Wardens too, but he still calls her "vhenan."  Stupid egghead in love.  

 

I was disappointed with Vivienne after the Fade. First time I took her along and she didn't have one single comment about it afterwards. As opposed to if she doesn't go, in which case she's positively envious.

If you're on PC there used to be a tool that someone made that would make you an Origins save file based on plot flags that you chose. I can't remember exactly how complex it was and I'm on my phone at the moment, but it might be worth googling for...

So... I decided to roll my post game/DLC DW Assassin Natalia. Took Divine Cassandra, Dorian and Sera out into the Hinterlands for some fun. Sera wanted to try out her new lyrium infused bow, Tezpadam, on a few roaming bears and Venatori agents. She and Dorian cackled watching them explode into a million pieces. Of course, Dorian used his walking bomb ability on those poor souls too.

 

"Ugh... Inquisitor, what exactly are we doing out here?" Cassandra grumbled rubbing her temples.

 

Natalia shrugged. "Sera wanted to test the new bow that I gave her," she replied nonchalantly.

 

"By destroying half of the countryside?!" Cassandra exclaimed.

 

"It's just a few bears," Natalia deadpanned.

 

"UGH!!!! This is worse than sitting in the grand cathedral listening to petty complaints!" the Divine huffed.

 

"You begged to come with us. I do recall Josephine had quite the time coming up with different stories to tell the clerics about your frequent absences," the Inquisitor countered with a smirk. 

 

"Hey Cassandra! Wanna punch a bear? Dorian broke his tool while it's chasing him and I ran outta arrows!" Sera called from atop a hill.

 

"Stop saying tool!" Dorian shrieked as he tried to get away from the rampaging bear.

 

Cassandra groaned in defeat. She glared at Natalia, then unsheathed her sword and ran up the hill.

 

Had to get that written  I know it's boring once the main story and two DLCs are done, but it doesn't hurt to do some random stuff with a fave Inquisitor

Stennis, 2H Champion Vashoth, Nightmare, no-crafting of gear.

There's stuff I never have time to see while in mortal danger, so it's a good thing I have screenshots or I never would have seen the little skull-dudes that fly around after casting Horror.

Varric convinced Stennis to take a side-trip to Valammar. With everyone level 14ish, it was kind of a steamroll, but still fun to hear all the Bianca/Varric banter.

Next, Stennis opened EdL, which meant access to Rebuke of the Sunderland and finally a better weapon for Stennis, who had been mostly using Verdict from the Oasis since about level 6. Cass and Cole also got some new gear, but other than the nifty Dales Seeker robes Solas picked up in the Exalted Plains, everyone else is hurting for new armor and weapons.

Stennis led the charge to clear out the Red Templar infestation at Suledin Keep.

Fun fact, Bee Grenades don't work on Infected Giants!

Also, I forgot the number of incarnations the Choice Spirit goes through and exhausted all of my resources too soon. Everyone got knocked out, except for Dorian, who was a lot tougher than anyone would have guessed. He held his own against the demon, spamming Horror like there was no tomorrow. He was able to kite the final incarnation of the Choice Spirit around the central pillar, enough to revive Solas, who in turn revived Cass and Stennis. Together they were able to wear the demon down and send him back to the Fade. Whew, that was close!

No screenies of the last battle, too busy trying not to reload!

Found some new things in Emprise this time around. Did you know you can climb some of the trees in Suledin Keep?  It's the only way to get to one chest up on a wall. Also, there is a freaking HUGE statue of a wolf behind the keep.  On the map, you can just see the outline of it at the western edge. I can't believe I never saw it before. I guess because you only see it on the way out, and I usually just fast-travel after claiming the keep since I tend to get lost trying to find my way back out. I'll post a screenie of it later. I'm way behind on screenshots....too busy playing.   Last thing: the rifts in Emprise apparently scale. I always thought they were level 23 but this time around I was up to 25 by the time I got to them and they were level 25 as well. Still rofl-stomped 'em with my OP'd squad though. Ran through all 3 dragons, the red Templars guarding the towers, and both rifts in one trip. Had one health potion left at the end (went thru 6 just with the Ravager) which I had to use after sliding down the canyon wall to oblivion.
