Could you pick one only? Which one do you think steals your soul more? So much feels!!!

If I must... The first one. Mr Morris knows his craft, that's for sure. ![]()

"Journey to Skyhold" no doubt. When I listen to this and close my eyes, I just see my every Inquisitor that ever reached Skyhold. It wonderful. The moment my babies become well-known badasses *wipes her tears*

Or it could be that woman's voice you hear at certain points that is giving you goosebumps... :S or it's the orchestra.

Ah, it's usually that point where you already decided to keep your Inquisitor. Gives you a boost motivation.
I've taken four Inquisitors through to the arrival at Skyhold, and only finished the game with one so far, although Aidan is close. Maybe familiarity is why I favour the first! ![]()
This is what Cullen did today

That is why BioWare uses camera angles and focus blur so that we don't see the things we weren't meant to see. Like Ashley standing in Docking Bay D24 when Kaidan's being dragged away on a stretcher(vice versa depending on who's alive and who's not). Lol! This is the price you pay when every movement of the character is based on animations that have been around since ME1. When I first played DA:I, I noticed those obvious animations from ME.

First one. Definitely. It's bleeding epicness. :3
I'll go back to playing DA: I later today and continue working on my human mage, Anastasia, who's romancing Cullen. I've been busy these past few days because I was in my cousin's wedding! It was a lot of fun, though; he's Indian and it was a Hindu wedding :3 (I'm half Indian/half white lol). I got to wear a sari too ![]()
Shameless selfie of me in a sari and bindi:

I also pick Journey to Skyhold, because it has more emotion and is a crowning moment for the Inquisitor.
Not that I usually post here, buuut...
My canon Warden is fricking fiiinaaaallly successfully romancing Zevran.
The thing is, he never really romanced anyone because I always used that damn Equal Love Mod for him and went for Alistair but.... it just always felt weird and I deleted it some weeks ago.
I can't wait when I can finally change my canon worldstate and add the romance so he isn't forever alone anymore. ![]()
(Also, that, 'Zevran and I have our own battles to fight' line I will get in the letter for my next Inquisition playthrough. ;3;)

Ah well, sorry for the double post, but I would also pick Journey to Skyhold.
And I srsly can't listen to this without waiting for Solas' 'Scout to the north... be their guide...' etc lines. Every damn time! ![]()
Yes, Journey to. I kind of felt let down by Return. I expected more, along the lines of ME1 Victory/From the Ashes.Could you pick one only? Which one do you think steals your soul more? So much feels!!!

Solas is a jerk... when I was talking to him it was like this:
S: "Hm, you're a Dalish..." disapproves
I: "What's your problem with Dalish? Allergic to halla?"
S: disapproves
...
S: "I think blood magic is no different than normal magic. What do you think?"
I: "I've only seen blood magic to hurt others."
S: disapproves
Nyerk you! I'm a rogue! How am I supposed to know any types of magic? How about explaining it to me, if you care so much about my opinion?! ![]()
And that's why I'm not going to romance him any time soon...
I have a two part update on Alessandra II's story. It concerns her inner circle, so here's the first one.
So, after permanently securing Emprise du Lion and eliminating the last three high dragons, Iron Bull tipped the Inquisitor on a potential alliance with the Qunari to ambush the Venatori's red lyrium smuggling. Alessandra travelled with Bull, his Chargers, Blackwall and Sera to meet up with Ben Hassrath agent Gatt in the Storm Coast.
They split into two teams to cover the Dreadnaught run; the Chargers taking an easier route while Bull and the rest took out the Venatori on another hill. Things were going as planned until the enemy brought in backup to challenge Krem and the rest of the Chargers.
"You need to have them hold that hill or else the Dreadnaught is dead," Gatt explained.
"They're my men," Bull growled hating the idea.
"I know... But you have to do what's right and for the Qun," Gatt pointed out.
The Qunari turned to Alessandra, who remained silent during the exchange.
"Do whatever it takes to save that ship. We had an agreement after all," Alessandra ordered.
Bull sighed heavily as he watched the Chargers fall one by one to the Venatori.
"I'm sorry, Hissrad," Gatt said in a regretful tone.
The mission was done.
Returning to Skyhold, Gatt congratulated the Inquisitor on securing the alliance. Turning to Bull, he offered his respects before leaving.
"We'll make good use of this Qunari alliance," Alessandra mentioned.
"It's a first for them," Bull concurred showing no emotion.
The Inquisitor glanced at Bull. "This is war, Bull. Sacrifices were necessary. Your men knew the risks and did their part." She stepped away leaving him to his thoughts.
As soon as Alessandra was out of view, the Qunari angrily slammed his fist against a wooden post.
One down, another will fall...
To be continued...
Part two of Alessandra II's story.
Alessandra met with Blackwall in the stables, and he invited her for a drink. "I thought you might want to clear your head after that mission in the Storm Coast," he mentioned as they walked to the tavern.
While the two shared a couple drinks, the Warden told the Inquisitor a personal story that he kept to himself. Alessandra was amused at first, but chose to listen to his tale. "There's always some mongrel out there causing trouble. Yet, when I look at you, you crack down on those bastards," Blackwall commented downing the last of his ale.
"I do what I can," Alessandra replied.
Later, the Inquisitor discovered Blackwall disappeared. She searched the stables and found a note.
A friend? Is that what you really think? You have no idea...
Crushing the note in her hand, Alessandra turned to see an Inquisition agent approaching and deliver news.
"An execution in Val Royeaux..." Alessandra murmured to herself. Without further delay, she gathered Dorian, Sera and Iron Bull travelling to the Orlesian capital.
Once they reached Val Royeaux, the Inquisitor noticed a large gathering on the gallows. A frail looking man kneeled helplessly on stage with the executioner behind him. Before him, an officer announced his crime to the public.
"No sign of Blackwall," Alessandra whispered to herself.
Dorian and Sera had a few remarks.
Just as the criminal was about to be hanged, a loud voice stopped them. All eyes turned to see Blackwall make his way up the stage to claim the man's innocence.
He further explained orders were given and that the man followed them like any loyal soldier. The crowd listened. A few gasps and shouts of protests were heard.
"I don't like the sound of this," Iron Bull growled narrowing his eyes at Blackwall.
Alessandra watched the scene unfold with interest.
The Orlesian officer marched up to the Warden. "Tell me who gave the order!" he demanded.
Blackwall remained silent.
The frail man's eyes widen in realization.
The next words that came from Blackwall's mouth shocked everyone. "I'm not Blackwall, I never was. I assumed his name to hide." He paused for a moment then went on, "I was the one who gave the order." Finally, he revealed his true identity.
"He deserves to be locked up! Nothing more!" Dorian spat as he, Sera and Bull followed the Inquisitor to the prison.
Alessandra instructed her party to remain outside, then ventured in. She found Rainer in a far corner cell, his head hung. What have you got to say for yourself?
In a low voice, Rainier explained that he didn't kill Blackwall. Blackwall was killed by darkspawn while trying to recruit him into the Wardens.
Alessandra chuckled.
Rainier lashed out at the Inquisitor recalling the terrible events of his crime and how he allowed his soldiers to take the blame while he abandoned them. Assuming the identity of a dead man and pretending to do the greater good. He sank to the floor, defeated.
Alessandra gazed at Rainier's pitiful form, her ruby eyes glinting with amusement. She spoke one question for him to ponder about before leaving.
Death is just the easy way out. What I have planned for you is far worse...
Arriving back in Skyhold, the Inquisitor met with her advisors to release Rainier to the Inquisition to stand trial. Josephine took on the matter and while it wasn't easy, she managed to gain the favour from the Imperial Court.
Alessandra leaned back in her dragon throne as Rainier was brought before her.
Rainier kept his head bowed, not bothering to acknowledge the Inquisitor.
Alessandra smirked.
"Whatever you did to get me out, it wasn't worth it," Rainier began then looked up at Alessandra.
"Josephine called in a few favours. The Orlesians owed us," the Inquisitor replied simply.
Rainier scowled at her.
"Your opinions no longer matter, you've lost that privilege. I decide your fate," Alessandra stated.
"Which is?" Rainier challenged.
The Inquisitor laughed softly as she tells him.
Rainer paled death white.
"I won't release you from your lie. That won't happen," Alessandra finished and dismissed him.
Rainier swallowed a lump in his throat. The sight of the Inquisitor sitting on her throne, gazing mockingly at him, sickened him. He bowed lowly and allowed the guards to escort him out of the throne room.
Alessandra chuckled watching Rainier leave.
You've brought this on yourself, and now you pay the price. Nowhere to run. Nowhere to hide. Your life belongs to me...

The way I saw the decision during Blackwall's judgement was even though he revealed his true identity in Val Royeaux, no one knows of the details that he later told Alessandra in prison. Therefore, Alessandra used that to her advantage to humiliate him ![]()
