I spent 10 minutes looking for Connor...Until I realised you have to side with the mages to see him. I sided with the templars

 

Connor should be in Redcliffe (assuming he wasn't killed in DAO) the first time you go there. You can talk to him even before heading to the tavern to meet with Fiona.

The only reason why I turn off Pause on AOEs:

 

Gotta love the startup animations for a lot of these powers. Pausing during AOEs ruin it. I don't think I've turned it back on ever since I turned it off.

And my streak of buying "lemon" electronic (parts), continues. My less than a month old HDD gave up the ghost for good. It is a brick.

Thankfully I had a fear that that would happen, so before it went to the Great Beyond (along with about two dozen other pieces of lemonade electronics I have bought through the years), I snagged my save folder to my USB drive. Today is my day off, so husband and I are heading out to get a new one (I am still going to get WD to replace this one, but having two isn't such a bad idea), and then comes the task of re-installing everything. Luckily enough, I hadn't yet loaded that much on this new machine. I should have everything completed by the end of the day....maybe.

Sorry for no new DAI related posts, but hopefully tomorrow, I will be back at it. OH! I did forget - the big bummer of all of this, is that I hadn't yet uploaded most of my screenshots - since playing the game on the new rig - so I lost all of those.

I started watching a DA:I Let's Play and the guy equipped Varric one of the daggers you can loot during the prolog as soon as he got them because 'they are much better'.

So Marian Hawke's adventures.  She keeps randomly running into Carver.  What's up with that?  First when the Arishok tried to take over Kirkwall, then in the Deep Roads with Nathaniel Howe (side note - Nathaniel Howe sounds like how Christian Bale's Batman sounds - like you know how Bruce Wayne has his voice then when he is Batman he has that gravelly voice to mask his identity?  Nathaniel Howe sounds like that to me). And he is still crabby every time she sees him.  You'd think he would at least say hello.

 

Anyhow, Ms. Hawke is into things pretty deep now.  Got some bat guano (or something in poop) for Anders.. and some Drakestone.  Wonder what he is up to? Also gave him keys to the house.  That's love.  Crazy  !VIVA LA REVOLUCION! love.  Killed a high dragon.  And all of her tiny dragon babies.  #sorrynotsorry.

Chapter 24 - Awakening

I've mostly been futzing around not doing anything important. Tanith hit all the shops in Thedas (except BE) and bought all the schematics they had for sale. Still have a boatload of gold leftover from the Descent merchant. I compared sell price for a Superb Cold Resistance Belt: normal merchant offered 2392 gold, Descent merchant offered 15945.  I do have the +10% sale price perk but that is still a huge difference. Will see how many BE schematics I can afford after I've gone to Frostback Basin and bought those schematics. At least I already have the Staff of Corruption.

Tanith apparently decided that simply climbing the trees wasn't good enough.

 

I don't really have anything left to do except Arbor Wilds. After that and taming the dragon, I will probably do JoH so I can have Solas along for the first time. Then Tanith can break up with him.
