I've been on a writing spree lately, but I have my final two updates on Alessandra II.
Part 1: The Arbor Wilds
While it took some time, things were going nowhere due to Cullen, Josephine and Leliana’s disagreements. The Inquisitor was growing impatient; Morrigan couldn’t agree more.
“Enough arguing! We must not waste anymore time!” Alessandra bellowed then proceeded to delegate orders to each advisor.

When all had been settled, Alessandra concluded the meeting and set off to make preparations. A fight to the finish. I will crush them all....
Meanwhile, Josephine diligently wrote letters to the Imperial army and neighboring allies for assistance.

Leliana sent out her ravens to her field scouts to burn enemy camp sites.

And Cullen gathered the troops to march into the Arbor Wilds. With the flags of the Inquisition flying high, Corypheus and his minions were outnumbered.

Arriving in the main camp in the Arbor Wilds, Alessandra caught up with one of the Captains on the status of their progress.

Pleased that all is going according to plan, she didn’t notice Morrigan approach. “Tis’ interesting the army looks to up to you more than anything else. I suppose they also see a higher being...” she pondered.
The Inquisitor barked a short laugh.
Morrigan shook her head then went on to explain that the Arbor Wilds were ancient Elven grounds, not welcoming to visitors. But if they were lucky, they may find the Temple of Mythal.
Alessandra stared at the witch incredulously. Another so called religious cult to waste my time upon?
Just then, the sounds of explosions are heard in the distance.
“Let’s find this temple before your army decides to desecrate the entire forest,” Morrigan suggested with an irritated sigh.
With Rainier, Dorian and Solas accompanying them, Alessandra and Morrigan ventured deep into the forests cutting down each round of enemies. When they finally made it to the Temple of Mythal, they found Corypheus and Calpernia finishing off a few Elven guardians before disappearing through the gates.

The Inquisitor and her party followed, but as soon as they caught up to them, Morrigan blocked their path.
“What is it this time?” Alessandra snapped.
“Such impatience you have, Inquisitor,” the witch of the wilds scoffed then explained if they were to venture further into the temple, they must complete the ancient rituals to gain access.
“Inquisitor, you have an army dying out there. We should end this quickly,” Rainier stated.
“I for once, agree with Morrigan. We are after all on sacred Elven grounds,” Solas advised.
Alessandra sighed. Not that I care much about this place, I suppose there’s something useful. She carefully considered Morrigan’s suggestion, then went along with her little game.

Later, the Inquisitor and her party ventured into the shrine where a dozen ancient elven archers appeared and a hooded figure, named Abelas, acknowledged their presence. He also noticed the glowing anchor on Alessandra’s left hand, confirming the magic is familiar.

Abelas went on to explain the well of sorrows and how the sentinels protected the temple for many generations. Their numbers dwindling every time invaders try to seize it for themselves. He also mentioned the Elves destroyed themselves in a war much to Dorian’s shock.
The ancient elf then offered a one time chance for the Inquisition to ally with the sentinels. Morrigan whispered to Alessandra to think carefully while Solas pleaded not to fight against them. Their goal after all was to stop Corypheus.
I suppose these Elves shall do the dirty work for me. They’re doomed to fall anyway...
Alessandra accepted the one time alliance much to Solas’ relief, however, Morrigan flew after Abelas after he vanished to destroy the well of sorrows. Following a sentinel guide, Alessandra, Rainier, Solas and Dorian ventured through a secret passage that’ll lead them to the well.
In the shrine’s many rooms, numerous battles continued as Corypheus’ troops fought against the ancient Elves. They were holding up, but numbers were quickly diminishing.
Finally reaching the well of sorrows, Alessandra confronted Calpernia and her Venatori agents. She easily manipulated the Tevinter sorceress about Corypheus’ schemes to bind her into slavery and tossed a sealed scroll to her.

Reading its contents, Calpernia was enraged. She thought by assisting Corypheus, she would rebuild her homeland.

The Inquisitor laughed seeing Calpernia being played for a fool. Taking advantage of her weakness, she laid her trump card.

Fury flashed within the sorceress’ eyes as she summoned flames from her hands. Behind her, the Venatori drew their weapons for a fight to the death.
One by one, the Venatori fell in battle. Alessandra relished in each kill, using her Reaver abilities to rip into her foes and greedily consume their blood. Just as she was about to strike a death blow on Calpernia, the heavily wounded sorceress used the last of her energy to teleport herself onto the edge of a steep cliff.

A malicious smile spreads on Alessandra’s scarred lips.
Suddenly, the familiar hooded figure of Abelas was seen ascending the stone steps to the well. Not too far behind was Morrigan, who managed to successfully stop him.
When the Inquisitor and her party caught up with the two, Abelas granted them permission to use the well. But as he turned to leave, he gave them a final warning about the consequences.

The witch of the wilds wasted no time proposing herself to drink from the well, much to Solas’ disgust. However, he reluctantly agreed its power was useful. Dorian also gave his support to Morrigan, but Rainier encouraged the Inquisitor despite his animosity towards her.
Rainier, you are a fool trying to trick me. I will not be bound to a so called deity...
In the end, it was the witch, who took the bait.
Just in time to witness the Inquisition’s victory in gaining the well of sorrows, Corypheus made his appearance. In a fit of rage, he descended after the party, but it was too late.

Finally reaching Skyhold, Morrigan sealed the eluvian with her magic.
The mission was done.
To be continued...
