That means if we get new schematics in Trespasser, we can carry them over to a new character, right? I saw what looked like Calpernia's outfit in the trailer. *rubs hands* I'm ready, Bioware! And the dlc itself... so many feelings. I better get my Lavellan through The Descent so she can meet Solas again.

Aaah, so pretty!  And actual armor for female Inquisitors (hopefully!) that isn't super huge and with a bunch of metal that looks comically oversized on my elven Inquisitor.

I couldn't fall asleep after conference ended o.o Somehow I manaded that, but when I woke up I got excited again! Not even about DLC, but Nug o.o

 

And I hope patch drops this week, so we can try out wardrobe and Golden Nug before DLC comes out.

Stayed awake until 5 in the morning as well. Definitely did not, I repeat did not, watch the trailer a bazillion times and wasn't planning the playthrough I started yesterday. 

 

I hope the patch drops this Tuesday or Monday, I think the patches for the other DLC dropped a week earlier, too? But I might misremember stuff. Both because I want to try out the wardrobe ASAP and because hopefully there will be a fix for the mod manager until the DLC drops. Though my hopes of mods working with it are pretty low.

Yeah, I mostly use visual mods as well and without them the game just looks a bit off to me. Like when the Inquisitor's leather pants are that light color again instead of black and small things like that. I played the last DLC without the mods, so I'd be fine without them in the next DLC as well, but I don't think I can play the main game without them anymore.

 

And I was so, so excited when they announced that schematics could be transferred. Finally being able to start another character and having all the pretty schematics for everyone available is such a relief and is going to make future playthroughs a whole lot easier to start, since I won't have to collect all the schematics again. Really, really excited.

when I saw the news about the new DLC, even if it's the last one! That's the first time I'm so happy about a game release.

I can't even look at the trailer, I just want to keep the surprise...! The only thing I'm disappointed about : I was happy to start my new perfect playthrough, I'm in the middle of it, recording every cutscenes and they add the wardrobe and new game + NOW ? Plus, I will be moving house when it's released. Man, that's bad timing

 

But still...yay!

This pic isn't really special, but the story behind it is...frustrating...

I was climbing the ladders down from this spot and encountered the last few Sha-Brytol. Actually it went well until both Bruce and Dorian were dead and I switched to Varric to rezz them. Next moment, Varric is dead as well and I switch to Cole and try to run towards the others, in the next moment he gets a bolt into the back and Game Over. 

Wouldn't have been that bad, cause I just had saved before the fight, so I hadn't lost anything beside the fight.

 

Problem.

 

The Sha-Brytol didn't spam. They were just gone. I didn't think anything about it, cause I thought it was a random encounter, so I tried to get to the heart, but two barriers blocked my way and I couldn't put Sha-Brytol weapons in them. Which meant, I HAD to fight them, to open the barriers.

Okay, I reload my save again. Not there. Then an earlier save. Still not there. Grmbl.... I had to go to the Legion of the Dead camp and then back down to The Wellspring for them to spam again.

I just started Jaws of Hakkon. And I just died laughing when Harding proposed using bogfisher poo at sieges.   By the way, it's kinda hard to laugh when your throat and trachea are covered with sandpaper. But I can't stop. Scout Harding moved upwards in my personal list of how-do-I-like-those-characters list.

Ah, yes. Devs mentioned some time ago, that they can't raise lvl cap. Bummer, cause we're gonna stay lvl27, but well. Not like it didn't happen in DAO to me anyway. Lvl 35 in Awakening... and you're stuck for DLCs that follow.

Before I move to preparing playing Connie, I finished The Descent with Phrona. Gained a bit less that 3 levels' worth experience from that (Phrona went from the end of lvl13 to the middle of lvl16).

 

What can I say? Ladies were definitely tired. Inquisition wasn't able to spare resources on them, since Skyhold still required they attention. So their traveling conditions were as they were.

And by the time it ended, Phrona just wanted to leave that place. Really, she wanted to stop earthquakes. Just that. But ugh. Trouble everywhere. Even that tiny one seemed like soon-to-be trouble.

It didn't leave Phrona without "souvenirs". As the Champion, she was literal shield of her, still not the best at cooperating, party. It didn't do good for her appearence. She got herself new scars... and broke her horns.

Phrona's new appearence made Josephine panic silently, as Empress' ball was approaching... while Bull was extremally pleased with her new, even more badass, look.

I've learned to live with a bunch of Tactical Renewals. I can live with the level cap, but then, the last DLC felt wasteful since I couldn't level up or anything They over did it with JoH.

For those who didn't feel like The Return to Skyhold's Return to Skyhold track just didn't feel as epic, I decided to replay Doom Upon All the World again but with the Music volume set to 0. It is easier to do it this way, or else, things get too complicated as both tracks do not sync well with one another. One is louder while the other is not. I did however, decided to add in the last bits of the Return to Skyhold when you talk to Leliana about Solas. 

 

Sorry if the music is too loud, but I tried to balance the music out so it doesn't overpower the actual video's audio.

I can't believe the serendipity of me deciding to buy all the schematics in my current game....just because. Now I will have all of them in all my games.  I bought all the ones at Stone-Bear Hold and still have oodles of gold left to buy stuff at BE. I might even have some leftover cash to buy influence when I'm done and max out my Inquisition level as well.

 

Anyone know how/if schematics will still generate in future games though? I mean, if you bought all the ones that shop X has, will they have any next time? Will they be ones you already have or different ones? Just how many variants are there?

I used the "Yes, we know about Mythal" mod in my current game and LOVED IT. No asking "Whos' Mythal?" when you get to Arbor Wilds. Morrigan still comments on the various mosaics when you click on them, but Tanith didn't have to first ask, "Who's this?" like an idiot.

At least for DAO/DAA there is a mod to raise the level cap to like 50, which is plenty even with doing all the DLC's. I wonder if someone will be able to create one for DAI?
