No actual playing today.  Instead, I bought and dl'd a bunch of Elder Scrolls games  from GOG.com and then copied over more of my quizzy stories onto my hard drive. I made it through Marcus' speed run romance of Cassandra. Now I just have the longer run with Dorian and Tanith to go.

 

As for Tanith, she's ready to assault the Hakkonite base with the Stone Bears. I feel like I've forgotten to do something in Frostback Basin though. Here's what I can remember doing. Can anyone think of something I missed?

done all main quest missions up to beginning the raid

killed the Nox Morta

placed the pest repellant (love watching spiders run away for a change! )

found all conspiracy notes and gave the book to whatshisname, then recruited him

recruited the exile

found 3 veil quartz blobs with torches

found the skulls in the swamp and read the Augur's runes

found the iron man

found the pyramid cave

opened the shard door

found the ice dragon bone in the waterfall

set up all camps

closed all rifts (and did a bit of veil quartz farming until I got tired of finding them all again)

completed Jawbreaker

found the missing scout

did Hakkon's trials

gave the fade-touched offering to the huntmaster

killed the despair demons

Been finished with my one and only playthrough for quite sometime now... was bored so I randomly walked up to Varric to speak to him and instead of getting the usual "I'm still here if you need me" one line of dialogue the game queued up the card game scene with everyone involved... it was fun seeing that cut scene again.  Also was able to take a great shot of my Trevelyan quizzy.

Not DA related, but I managed to completely disable that stupid Cortana on Windows 10. I can officially say I hate Windows 10. Too many programs forced onto you and my RAM is being completely eaten up by whatever is eating it up and Task Manager is not showing me everything that is using up my RAM.

Welp,  Mage Hawke's game is complete.  Meredith has been vanquished.  Orsino turned into some kind of disgusting hell amalgamation.  Fenris turned on Hawke and consequently got himself dead.  #sorrynotsorry.  Marian and Carver kind of made up.  Anders was spared.  And not only spared, still in a relationship with Hawke when it was all said and done since she decided to embrace the cray and just do anything for love.

 

I never did find the boots of the Champion though.  That makes me mad.  3/4ths of a set.  JERKS!

 

Now to add all of this DAO/DAII stuff to the keep for a new world state.

DA2 strange adventures continue...

If you blink, you might miss the battle.

I should try closing level 24+ rifts (JoH) while level 12 just to see if I could do it. And no cheating with Dispel/Spell Purge. As long as it isn't all wraiths or a pair of Despair demons it should be doable.

I actually did this once! Well, I don't remember my exact level but it was definitely between 10 and 14, not higher. Was hunting for the T4 schematics that drop from the rifts, in particular the rogue one. Of course I didn't know which rift exactly dropped it and of course it was the last on the list. 

Well at least now I'll never forget which rift drops it. (The one next to the river that spawns like 3 Pride Demons in the second wave. Double fun if your companions aggro ALL the spiders!)

Awesome collection, Gilli-chan! Love the Urahara plushie! He was one of my fave characters from Bleach. I used to collect a lot of anime/manga especially Bleach 

 

 

Okay, DA wise... I continued my writing spree, rolled my Knight Enchanter Alessandra again and crafted new stone stalker armour for Varric. She went on a horseback ride in Crestwood, scaring off a few hitchhiking bandits along the way. Ooo.. The big scary Inquisitor and her black stallion.. Also travelled to Emprise and found the giant wolf statue! I didn't know you could jump on the trees as well.

 

Counting down the days until I have to finish my Inquisitor's journey. For the sake of the story, it must be done.

On one hand, I want to finish my 2nd DAO PT, start my 2nd DA2 PT and then finally make my fem!Lavellan DD Rogue to romance Solas. 

On the other hand I probably should send Haya (my fem!Qunari Necro) through the Descent too, so she's ready for Trespasser too. (when I think about the fact, that I made Cass Divine in her PT  )

After dealing with a few unfortunate game freezes, I finally cleared "In Your Heart Shall Burn". I left everyone to die out of frustration for the game freezes.

 

Then after getting to Skyhold and meeting Hawke I set out to become a Reaver, the only specialization I haven't played yet. To my surprised I already had 1 od the 3 fusion primers I needed to farm in order to made the Dragon item to turn in. Eventually I became a Reaver. My new team for the duration of the game will be Blackwall, Cole, and Solas.

 

In Crestwood, I spoke with the mayor and captured Caor Bronach. After draining the lake I spoke to a Spirit of Command and agree to it's request. Bringing Cole and Solas gave me extra insight into it. We closed the lake rift and defeated Commands'd Rage Demon enemy.

Today has been a very eventful day in Thedas for Fen Lavellan.  First, I went to Redcliffe to talk with the mages and meet Dorian, then we paid a visit to the future and saw how bleak things could get. After successfully closing the Breach, Corypheus marched and destroyed Haven. Finally, I arrived in Skyhold and now have to talk to everyone, do a lot of crafting, get my specialization and then get an idea of what I want to do next.

 How about Bruce? Is he ready for Trespasser? It would be interesting if the unstable anchor mark made him turn into the Hulk. Then he'll Hulk smash all of the Qunari!

Yes, whoever becomes Divine can still join your party... if your relationship is good. I heard if it isn't, some other companions will not return (like Cole, if you didn't do his personal quest).

I feel like the human male body looks ridic.  Like super broad like he played middle linebacker.  And then someone told me Dorian had the same body but I don't believe it one bit because he isn't so broad like that.  I mean I know the Skyhold PJs are unflattering but sheesh. 

 

But I have the same issues with the elves.  They just look so frail.

And now... *sigh* since I made some weird mistakes during my first playthrough, like after Here Lies the Abyss getting an Amulet of Power for Blackwall only and asking "WTH is Blackwall?", my only proper playthough is a Dalish elf allying with mages.
