I started a new Mage Inquisitor play through to try out the golden nug at Haven, and wow! It's so cool to have all of my stuff from previous runs. At level 5, I felt my future Inquisitor and her party were a bit OP while using crafted tier 3 gear this early. But I like seeing them look fashionable. Especially during cutscenes. I also can't wait to get her to Skyhold and wear the new wardrobe

Well I finished The Descent (YAY) so now I am ready for Trespasser, So in my other post I said that I was thinking about making a new character and play all the way through, so I was watching 60 Minutes, and I saw Anderson Cooper and he looks like an elf, so I am going to do an elf that looks like him.

Huh, who would have thought. I wasn't aware there was special option while talking with Duke Gaspard if you're warrior (or Champion, I'm not sure which one is that). But hey, he said my Adaar had arrogance to be a chevalier 

 

I only discovered this conversation myself during my female warrior Trevelyan playthrough. Gaspard is far more impressed about you becoming a Champion if you're playing as a human, even if you do happen to be a Marcher.

Wheeeee! Got all my stuff sync'd across all characters (except for my newest one, Sam, who hasn't even made it to Haven yet).

Everyone got a new, unique outfit and has loads of new schematics to play with. (Am I the only one who had to remove every.single.star noting new inventory items? )  I did quite a bit of inventory re-arranging as well, and crafted a few new things to replace the, "What was I thinking?!" ones currently in use. My second quizzy, Julia, also re-recruited Cassandra, much to the latter's relief.

Those are Red Lyrium items that once were available only after completing mini-game. Now it seems everyone can get it (after recruiting Dagna). Their stats comparing to what you have at that point are really poor. Now they're even more useless - with schematics and all.

I went back and replayed the end after doing the "support Vivienne" mission. All it got me was Cass disapproval. No change to the ending so wishy-washy Leliana still ended up as Divine. Hey, at least it gives everyone a reason to hate the Inquisitor in Trespasser.

But I wanted Leliana both times and got first Vivienne then Cassandra! *shakes fist*

So since Inquisition © has money, we better invest it! That old Elven Bath Spa Resort in the Arbor Wilds might be worth renovating! But we are not the only ones in the race!

All this mess is additional money we’ll have to spend on renovations so we try to negotiate a better deal with the old Elven owners. They are open to the proposition but Morrigan tries to double cross us!!!

Time goes so fast!

 

Today, I finished the main story ; Dorian wishes to stay with his best friend, Skyhold is home for Sera, Bull is free and still wants to stay with my quizy, Cassandra's been named divine and she's still in love with her inquisitor, the wardens are alive...probably ; Blackwall's going to join them.  And my inquisitor spent his night stuffing his mouth with tiny cakes because he doesn't want to lose Cass. And because he loves tiny cakes. He really loves tiny cakes.

 

I love that ending, but it makes me sad because I know the real end is coming . Seeing that last scene with Flemythal and Solas makes me worried too...I hope this is not the end of Flemythal, I really love her character (and her voice actor). That scene where she is with her grandson and the emotion in her voice! Can't get enough of her.

 

I still have to do JoH though...so many things to do, so little time.

 

I'll post some screenies & comments when I'm done with JoH. Can't wait to see the new DLC! I'll have to cover my eyes for the next few days.

Started a new Dalish archer playthrough yesterday, after I rushed through the last third of my mage playthrough to get everything ready for tomorrow. Really, really excited!  But with the archer, I'm totally going to finish all the maps and get that last pesky "Close a hella lot of rifts!" achievement. Psssh, yeah, totally. Because I never told myself that before. 

 

Well, with the archer I excitedly synced everything with the Golden Nug and naturally, the potion and tonic recipes you get through quests are now twice in the inventory.  I'm not really sure why I expected anything else. But it's nice to have everything available from the start and to be able to throw bees at the despair demons by the waterfall rift even if you haven't recruited Sera yet.

 

Anywho, while I was running through the Hinterlands to get as much done as possible before heading to Val Royeaux, Solas started making comments that I have never heard before. The ones I remember were "I think the clerics would be willing to meet with us now." and "Do you not think we should be heading to Val Royeaux as soon as possible?!" or something along those lines. Never had those before and I have played this game a lot more than I'd like to admit, especially the parts in the Hinterlands. 

 

Also, it's really nice to flirt with Cullen again and see that adorable neckrub and the flustered laughs. Going to be interesting to see what happens with his romance after the time jump. Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Running around post-game with Tanith. Took a quick trip to Dragon Island for a long overdue date with Vinsomer. I think Hakkon counts against the high dragon collection since I only killed 7 dragons but my count was up to 8 (now 9 after Vinsomer). I'm leaving Gamordan Stormrider and Greater Mistral alone though. They're too low level to be much of a challenge now, although I suppose I could use low level weapons for funsies. But, nah, they're too pretty anyway.

 

So, yeah, basically just chilling, waiting for Trespasser to come out tomorrow. Unfortunately, I won't get to install or play until after I get home from work.

Doing a run with Kalros, Male Human Rouge Artificer, and wow I can tear up dragons, I stun one dragon several times while she was in animation of armor up, and she could never get her guard.

 

Been roaming the HIssing Wastes because i love that area, and when i took out the main camp of the Venatori had an interesting convo pop up, Cassandra was asking if I was unharmed, and noting there was more enemies then she expected... followed by Kalros commenting it appeared to be the main camp. I am now wondering if you bring the LI with you in certain areas if they makes comments like this? There was another spot where she inquired about my well-being (forget where, maybe Storm Coast?)

 

I've notices a lot of new little talks, it's been interesting replaying the game.
