Yes  :D It's probably the only staff that can have two elements (you can use fire/cold/lightning runes on it).

Ooh, now I'm gonna have to find/make me one of those! I actually had a dream a few nights ago where each snake head on the Staff of Corruption spouted a different damage element. :o  That would be so coooool!!

Schematic is reward for "Stop War Between Nevarra and Tevinter" war table operations  :D

Thank the Maker we can load old saves and complete those operations, then sync with Nug to use them on our most recent saves. If not for that I would need to wait ages for this staff.

I'll have to get to skyhold and open up this mission with Ameerah then, since she is the only PT in which I've not yet done that war table mission.

Wait...what? It's something added after the fact, a new reward for an old mission? What the heck?

It's not the only thing. There's whole Griffin set added to old war table missions.

Robes for mages for completing "Destroy Darkspawn Outbreak"

Mail for rogues for "Contact Hero of Ferelden"

Plate for warriors for "Judgment: The Good Works of Ser Ruth"

There are also new item rewards. Like Sentinel Place for completing "Research the Well of Sorrows"

Sigils are also in base game now.

Some new schematics are also available as trial rewards.

In other words, as Varric would say: "There's a lot of new sh*t out there."

It's been a few days now since I started Trespasser and I'm still not able to finish it even if I really enjoy it ; I guess I'm afraid of the famous post-game depression.

So what did I do today ? Closed my eyes, tried to avoid spoilers about Trespasser (even if I'm dying to know what will happen and discuss about the events) and looked at some screenies I took, thinking "how could I leave him :crying: ".

Never have I, (or Caitlyn) been so appreciative of necromancer abilities until now.  Caitlyn and co were exploring the mirrors when the librarians descended upon them.  Everyone died.  Well, everyone save Dorian.  He just kept regenerating health due to the masterwork on his staff and killed those librarians mostly by his lonesome.  I knew there was a reason there were two supply crates in that room.  Ugh.

Anyhow, I have Dorian using a Wrath of Lovias staff with a masterwork that generates 1% of your health on hit.  But I crafted a second staff.  Wondering if this one using Encore schematic and fade touched Dawnstone that heals 25% of heath over 10 seconds will be as good for him or if I should keep him with WoL.  Opinions?

Also, I noticed this while playing the Descent.  Caitlyn has Fire Mine but does not have it specced because space (and I swapped her over to Electricity as her primary so as to not duplicate Dorian).  I took this screen shot while I was controlling Sera and you can see that Caitlyn is using Fire Mine.  I've never seen my Quizzy use a spell or ability that was not specced before.  Is this a new thing since the last patch?

And for giggles....

GRAVITY HAS NO PLACE HERE!!

Spoiler

A few things

1: I have been trying out NECROMANCER for Ullia Mint Tooth and so far it seems to be ok. I am ehhhh with the starting attack which casts FEAR on a foe (+Upgrade deals damage) but the 'added damage to feared targets' bellow that on the right has been helpful since Ullia has the fire pool and I have been using a fire attack that adds FEAR to damaged target. With the one power from the Necromancy pool the one fire ability deals even more damage than before. I am trying to get WALKING BOMB in the pool because I am familiar with it from DAO where it would deal slow damage to a target but when the target enemy is killed it deals heaps of damage to the target and +Upgrade deals a spit ton to everyone around that person. However according to what I've heard in DAI you do not have to worry about the friendly fire property it had from DAO because in DAO if warrior oriented targets try to kamikaze when this is casted on them and gets killed near you allies, say hello to the GAME OVER screen. We're taliing 999 to your character and everyone around him/her.

2: i would keep the HEALING scepter. yeah sure the armor penetration isn't needed to much for your mage but the "heals on kill" is nice. a clip from a enemy soldier can be healed potion free just by your mage doing what he/she does best.

3: I am a bit confused about what was being explained by fire mine. I know fire mine is one of those spells you need to put a cursor somewhere then hit A. A enemy needs to waltz on the 'trap point' to trigger it to take damage. Frankly I am not a big fan of the spell and prefer FIRE WALL over FIRE MINE because it's a long line that deals fire damage and with the upgrade it adds fear where the people in it are stuck in it and can get clocked waxed by your quizzyboots and crew.

4: Like they say 'gravity kills". lol. PS: Blame Ultron for the background happening. J/k.

PS: i think I ran out of likes because I kept getting a message saying that I couldn't send a like due to my reputation. Weird.

Finally was able to load up a different character today. I went with Julia Trevelyan, my second quizzy who romanced Cullen. After Solas heart-break part two, I decided I needed some fluffy bunnyness to offset it. She hasn't done either JoH or Descent yet, so it will be a while before I get her to Trespasser.

To get started, she went back and finished off a few things that were left undone before the big fight against Coryfish. There were a couple mini-quests in the Hinterlands. She bought up the missing Arbor Wilds codex entries the merchant had for sale. Three mosaics had missing tiles but are now completed. She found the last dwarfy note in the Hissing Wastes. Found Parson's Battered Notebook in the Graves and followed the clues to the "treasure." And, lastly, she's determined to pick, grow, or buy enough herbs to upgrade all of the potions, grenades, and tonics before heading off on the next big mission.

Funny thing, I don't recall killing all 10 dragons with her, but it's showing as done, so I guess I did. Also, there is a broken requisition: it calls for 10 halla leather and says I have 0/10 even though when I look in my inventory I have 14. That, plus the stupid Ferelden locks in the Hinterlands, shall apparently remain undone. <_<

I took 618 pics during the entire Trespasser DLC, and I'm damn proud of it. Good thing we have spoiler tags and they raised the image cap per post.

I'm on my way home after a lovely trip to London. Itching to finish Trespasser so I can participate in the spoilery stuff. I didn't have an entirely DA-free weekend, though..

I do not have fire mine specced as an active spell for Caitlyn.  Therefore, I cannot use it.  Yet when I went to control a party member, Caitlyn was using this.  Unlike other DA games where you can use spells that are not set to the PS/XB controller buttons, this has never been the case with DAI and any talent you don't have in your top 8 does not get used.  I am not actually sure if it was just saying she was using it or if she actually did cast it, as I was busy nursing Sera and didn't see the animation  (if any) took place.

Well so far today I was doing some ritual for a well, had to run around on plates and light them up first few were easy but then I got to the last one with a lever situated in the middle, spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out then decided screw it I'm not wasting anymore time on that just let me get on with the game already so I jumped down into the hole to get on with my adventure.

Just beat the Templar"s at the well, I was about to give up they kept beating me over and over again finally beat them with just my Inquisitor left and one sliver of health.  I was getting ready to just give up on the game altogether and just watch the rest of the story on Youtube. Sometimes the game gives you more trouble than it is worth. If I could horde health potions like in previous games this wouldn't of been a problem.
