I want to hurry up and get on with my Cullen romance but I don't want to do the mage/templar/Haven quest-line just yet. I have both available, and enough power to pick one, but the Hinterlands are still a mess, and I need to check out this mysterious Iron Bull I've been told about. If he's a follower of the Qun, I'm sure he'd be pretty interested in knowing Venatori have taken over Redcliffe. I think I'm going to leave the mages to their own fate this time, however. They wanted to be free so much they indentured themselves to the Vints? That makes no kind of sense to my mage. Besides, Cullen supports allying with the Templars.....

Ha! He's in daycare all day because we thought I'd be going full-time at work and his daddy takes him, so right now, I get my afternoons to myself because he will be starting all day pre-K soon enough or I might be going full-time soon enough.

 

That's the only reason I get the time I do to play.

I take a lot of breaks when I'm gaming, too, and last few times I was doing ME trilogy runs in ME I seemed to spend more time sorting through screenies, or getting mods to work properly, than I did playing.

Finally found the rebel mage. Ran him over with my dracolisk.

 

Lyell says pooh with knobs on. He paid 4,400 coin for a dracolisk and funnily enough it looks like a horse. He was told that the dracolisk was waiting for him down in the stables and funnily enough it looked like a horse.

 

Lyell is also having his first 'excuse me' moment with Dorian because after playing wicked grace (wicked Josephine ) Dorian would like to have watched Cullen running back to his room - tackle flapping in the breeze. He should not be interested in someone else's tackle.

All this dragon hunting going on! I wanna play too, especially since i didn't get my achievement last game, thanks to the bug... but Harold's only level 10. He'll get curb-stomped.

I am currently going for this achievement and this is the first time I've heard about a bug. Has it been resolved yet?

I got my trophy before the patch was released. What happens is when the 10th dragon is slain, the trophy/achievement sometimes won't register. For me the trophy popped up after I killed my first dragon in my 2nd playthrough. What others did was to reload the fight of the last dragon and kill it again and that gave them the trophy/achievement.

 

As a suggestion, make a save before fighting the 10th dragon that way if the achievement/trophy doesn't pop up, you can reload and slay it again.

Thank you for replying. I have just checked my progress and it does say that I have killed 6 dragons so everything seems ok at the moment.

 

But at least I know what I can do if the achievement doesn't pop up later.

I forgot to do that with my little elf mage. I meant to keep the save I had from just before fighting the Sandy Howler, but I'm pretty sure I deleted it. Hmmm, maybe I'll check it out and revisit her life for a bit. She earned the achievement, after all. Be just like a thief to come in, kill one dragon, and snatch the glory. Bad Harold

But yeah, MrGDL87, like Mike said. It's glitched.

 

EDIT: I did delete the save from my mage's game. Damn. it's good for Harold, I guess, but damn. Earliest save I have for my little elf mage is after all ten dragons have been slain. Ah well. 

 

On the plus side, I did get enough influence from those quests to get another perk (yay), which I quickly turned into "Deft Hands".

 

Now the question is, do I want to go through the Fallow Mire, or do I want to do want to meet up with the mages from Redcliffe?

Well, we got lots going on in South Australia with bushfires. Where I am now is full of smoke - and I live in the suburbs!. Two country fire service trucks have just been passed (past?). It's a little scary but nothing to worry about yet. I hope. Heading to the CFS website now to see where the fires are. Cross your fingers for us all kittens.

Ashkaari got fed up with The Game and decided he wanted the ally least likely to require having to go through that song-and-dance again, so Celene was let to die. Gaspard took the throne, but Ashkaari helped Briala get a foothold in the court, promoting Qunari tenants of helping the weak and equal opportunity for all species. The Court will be brought to the Qun!

 

Laughed when the dialogue-option I chose had my Inquisitor saying that the party seemed ~"... so long," since I was stuck there for a long while, kept getting stuck. As a result of that, I had to take a wee bit too long outside the party and the court approval dropped just shy of what was needed to take Florianne alive. Too bad. Couldn't do it in my first play through and would've liked to experience the result firsthand, if only "for science," (I feel like I might prefer her dead, anyway). Judged the box: made her a table. Qunari waste nothing. Also, asked Cullen to put her head on a pike to scare some nobles. Danced with Josie at the end of the function, lol, it's all Beauty and the Beast up in here.

 

Now my mabari is whining at me so I gotta go. Good to be back, though. "Likes" for all!
