Just a quick pop-in to say that I finally finished my Stennis Adaar 2H Champion no-crafting NM run. Doing no-crafting is definitely a nice way to up the challenge of NM, but since Trials got introduced midway through my run, kind of quantly antiquated at this point.

I'm onto Descent now with Maggie, my level capped Rift Mage. Arguably my canon IQ, though, being my first PT I kind of messed up the RP, a lot, since I had no idea what was going on. My world state is less than ideal. But, oh well, she was my first and therefore my favorite. I've got Varric, Sera and IB with me and the comments on the ride down the first lift were hilarious.

I'm not reading any other posts here yet -- want to avoid Trespasser spoilers -- so apologies for no likes. I'll be back after my first run through Trespasser.

Liked, even though I still can't watch it yet ... Can't you make a Sera romance vid, or a Cassie romance vid? One day I will watch this one too.

 

I also liked it, but I can't watch either since I'm still traumatized from my own Solasmance ending.

 

I've peeked into the Solas thread but that thing gains like 50 pages a day....no way anyone can keep up with that unless all they do is read it all day.

Going to make my new Inquisitior tonight, my female Lavellan that will romance Solas. I'm excited, I know it's a tragic romance but it's definitely an interesting one to watch.

I finished both Adamant and the Winter Palace quests with my KE mage. Most satisfying moment was forcing Celene, Gaspard and Briala to work together, then they bickered before giving a sugar coated frilly speech to the crowd. Loved it when Dorian mentioned in a conversation later that my lady Inquisitor has all three of them lick her boot. Those Orlesians were outplayed in their own game.

I started Trespasser with Julia. So far she has

 just talked with everyone. She found all the dog bones for bonus constitution and a beehive on a stick; straightened some paintings for other bonus stats; got an estate and the key to the Kirkwall harbor from Varric; went to the opera with Josie and to the spa with Vivienne; managed to distract Bull long enough that Krem and the Chargers could surprise him with a dragon skull; and, best of all, got married to Cullen!  Oh, and then told Cassie about it .

 

Finding some interesting circumstances in this game. This is the one time I got Dorian and Bull together. I didn't talk with Sera enough to get the cookie scene in the main game so it's unlikely

that Julia will get to join the Red Jennies. She didn't even get the cheese-throwing scene.

ended up with Maryden. I think I like the set up with Krem better though. 

  I don't remember who is on the throne in Orlais but I think it is just Celene (or maybe all 3 together?). Haven't found any notes about it one way or the other. Lots of Hard in Hightown chapters though. One of these days I'm going to read them all.

Last night my girl Ameerah took on the Wardens at Adamant and accidentally fell into the fade. It was fun to hear sarcastic Hawke rather than diplomatic Hawke this go round.  Her comment about the makers bosom had me rolling.

 

Also.. in the Western Approach this happened:

 

 

Seems to be a painful way to go.  I'm guessing he and some fellow miner got in a fight over Wicked Grace. The other guy won. 

 

Last night  I didn't get to play much.  I got out of work late and it was a cascade of suckitude that caused me to get home way late.  *shakes fist at skies*  Work is interfering with my gaming. 

 

I consistently get bogged down in act II.  I procrastinate on actually doing either Adamant or WEWH.  Then all of a sudden I'm level 19 or 20 before I go into them.  At least with Walk Softly on I have enemies that are scaling with me so it's not such a cakewalk.

I created 3 new characters & went through to the start of the Hinterlands with each, maybe not the best idea since i felt abit crazy listening to everything in Haven repeatedly like it was groundhog day but my new fem elf warrior looks cool in the Dalish armour

Slowly progressing my game with my dw Tempest dwarf lady, Sacha. I was little surprised with her. I expected her to be more grim, but she turned out to be:

As for her adventures...

Sacha is slowly clearing zones, discovering all new loot that got added with Trespasser. She fully cleared out Hinterlands, Storm Coast, Crestwood and Fallow Mire. Is in a middle of Exalted Plains and Western Approach. And she has yet to finish both WEWH and HLtA. Also, she killed lvl 16 Fereldan Frostback, earning last achievement - Trial of the Empress. Also killed Vinsomer while being lvl 16... and that fight turned out to be easier than the one with Frosty

My new Inquisitior Variwyn Lavellan, I imagine her still learning about the world and is curious about a lot of things. Always tries to find the best in people. She might look tough on the outside, but is actually fairly sweet on the inside.

I completed everything, except for finding 1 mosaic piece, in the Hinterlands including killing the Frostback dragon at level 9 which put me over level 10. I have 61 power points. I just started exploring the Storm Coast. I'm trying to see what level I can get to by doing everything possible before siding with the templars or mages.

After finishing my Tempest-Archer run with Sera as LI, I started my new Lavellan mage playthrough to romance Cullen today. Sera's romance was beautiful and I can't wait to play it again, but Cullen deserves a completed romance in at least one of my playthroughs.

Also tried out the Cinematic Tools during the prologue quest and have gotten a bit more used to it.  Will be interesting to try it out in more open spaces. Though using it during combat can lead to rather unusual facial expressions on the characters.

I saw that in another thread. I will have to look at in detail to see if its worth getting or just getting a used DAI copy and just redownload the Jaws dlc to the ps4 when I get it and purchase the other 2 dlc's

At least it has all of the DLCs. Some people are just unwilling to get even this because they want it to be cheaper. >_> But yeah, I can see the GOTY Edition being $60, and it may be easier to get a cheap DAI copy for PS4 and just buy the rest of DLCs. You may even save more money that way. It all depends on the situation.

Smushes Sera's face. Still have time to decide if I want to romance Sera instead of Cullen in my new playthrough.  Those screencaps aren't making it any easier. Decisions, decisions.

 

And I personally like to "space out" the romance content a bit on my second run with it, just so it feels a bit more natural and so there's something to look forward to. Otherwise I get all the cute, mushy stuff as soon as possible and have nothing left for the rest of the game.
