Ameerah made her way through the hornet's nest.. er Winter Palace.

 

She ran into these three weirdies:

 

They could at least wear different colors of the same outfit.

 

She made nice with Celine

 

 

Ran into an apostate in fancy clothes:

 

 

Investigated a knife in the back of some important so and so:

 

 

Eventually it was decided that Celine was not the best ruler for Orlais.  Although Ameerah uncovered all sorts of Tom Foolery pointing at Briala and Gaspard, she decided to let Florianne carry out her assassination, thus allowing for Briala to take power by being Gaspard's puppet master.  Check mate, yo.

 

After coming back from the viper pit that is Halamsharal, Ameerah and co killed some dragons.  Took a keep (and got a trials trophy for her efforts) and killed all the dragons in the Emprise.

 

Look, Sera's arrows got stuck mid-air..

 

 

And this statue has arrows in it!  Never noticed that before.

 

 

No arrows here, but Ameerah hopped over to this chest for nothing.  It was a chest full of common cheap crap.  If you are going to get me to scramble up to impossible heights, BW, you could at least throw me a bone and make it worth my while.  Also, why do the barrels have spikes?

 

 

Side note.. back in Skyhold.. there is this lone Qunari.  How come none of the Vitaars we get look like this?  It would totally match my purple armor scheme. Also +1 for using skulls as pauldrons.  Kind of epic, no?

Finally finished WEWH with Sacha. Maker, when you decide to finish Exalted Plains before that it can take a while  It would be nice zone... if not that buzzing   But I digress. 

She took her favourite party... to the party. It was definitely more exciting that they expected.

And after returing to Skyhold she had nice talk with strange witch in even stranger place.

Also...

She helped Vivienne get the heart of snowy wyvern and promised her to help her become Divine (we'll see if it's possible).

Leliana's softening process was completed. It's nice to see her not killing everyone. Sacha is doing enough killing for whole Skyhold.

And... Since both WEWH and HLtA was completed... Blackwall decided to ruin the day. She let him stay and atone. She also said they can start over. Though it doesn't mean she forgave him so easily...

After that she cut her hair from this...

...and took her almost regular party (left Blackwall and took Cass, no one knows when she would feel like stabbing someone and Blackwall can't be too close, at least for now) to Deep Roads.

She's in a middle of her Deep Roads adventures. Having no supply caches and random POWER-UP enemies is... interesting

Another drive-by posting. I just completed Descent with my canon Rift Mage, Maggie.

LOVED IT!

I'd trade the Exalted Plains, the Forbidden Oasis and most of the Storm Coast to have Descent be part of the main game.

This DLC was made-to-order for me. I had been griping about the puny size of mobs and the lack of waves of enemies in the main game. It's like they heard my gripes ... er, prayers. Plus the huge scale. Plus the real old-school dungeon crawl feel. Plus the little hidden goodies tucked away along ledges and behind rocks and in all the places I like to go 'splorin anyway. And it even has a cool OOB area that I "accidentally" fell into.

Well done, Bioware. Well done.

Maybe the story wasn't quite up there with the Lair of the Shadowbroker for emotional content, but it was satisfactory.

This is how I like for all battlefields to look after we kill all the fools:

I was at the Edmonton Comic Expo today and got to hang out at the BioWare booth. Did mini interviews with some of the team members, and discussed both Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I also attended Stan Lee's panel; it was cool to finally see him in person and listen to him share his stories and experiences at Marvel.

 

As for DA gaming, I played last night and my Rift Mage Demetria killed all ten high dragons. She's on her way to the Frostback Basin.

 

My KE Celeste, she killed six high dragons so far and she'll be travelling to the Hissing Wastes to uncover Dwarven burial sites. And fight the next dragon too.

Rubblocke: tried to do the same except didn't hit on Sera. He is trying to be tight with Verric. I have been taking him everywhere I go.

Vlah'Nu: Took the **** approach to everyone except for Solas.

All three treated Blackwall well.

I haven't played her in a long time. I am kind of still mehhh with her look but I do intend to finish her though. I'm still early on in Skyhold. I kind of conversed with a few people there.

Today I... fell down the rabbit hole, I guess. I travelled back to Skyhold and went straight to Helisma to turn in research, through Solas' quarters. I guess the environments haven't loaded completely, since Solas's room was partially lacking a floor, so of course I fell through a blank space just as I entered his room. I ended up here.

I wanted to go lower, but when I moved a couple of steps I ended up in some very dark and narrow space, which somehow turned out to be just outside undercroft. I could see it if I jumped on the wall that was on the left from me, but I could never get in there. The music was still playing, btw.

I couldn't get out of there anymore so I got back to Skyhold via fast travel and everything was back to normal... except the music was still playing. It was almost inaudible in some places, but pretty distinct around the entrance to the Great Hall, near Varric.
