So, if I create a new game to do Trials with, what should I play? I'm not really fond of Reaver spec or Sera romance, so I am unlikely to do either.
But... But... Sera romance is amazing! ![]()

Try as I might, I can never make myself be a complete ass in any DA game. I just can't get past the moral core my parents instilled in me. I might skirt it.. but I'm never an outright jerk.
I've never did play as a jerk in DAO, but in DA2 I played as one. I even let Meredith kill Bethany.

WAT? But.. but.. Bethany was so sweet. You sir, made your Hawke a monster!

Its not surprising for @themikeefest honestly you should read some of his ME playthroughs.WAT? But.. but.. Bethany was so sweet. You sir, made your Hawke a monster!

I only did it that one time and I was surprised that option was available.
I just watched the last Dragons N' Donuts ever and this makes me more sad than it should. ![]()

See, I don't play Mass Effect (which if you all knew me you would think would be funny because I love space and all things space nerdy but I suck RPGing with guns. SUCK. I got about an hour into ME 1 before I knew it was not the game for me. Sad too because I'm sure my FemShep would have been a BAMF).

SAVAGERY!!!
I expect no less from a Panthers fan. (I kid.. I got nothing against the Panthers or their fans since you are not in my NFC North division. Now, if you were a Packers fan I would totally hold this against you).
I tried once to side with the Templars. But I couldn't. And I did it once in DAO and once in DAI. But Meredith was just so.. overzealous. At least in DAO and DAI, I can see the point of siding with them but she is just nug crap crazy.
I haven't been too impressed with this spec, but maybe that's because Varric does it wrong? For example, the mine fields only ever explode after everything is dead.
I see what you mean. The mines explode last minute. Wish there was a way to manually detonate or if an enemy crosses them, they blow up.
How about Necromancer? Have you ever considered that?
Glad that's finally done.

How do you catch those harlequins? Whenever I run after them, they vanish into smoke.

If I were you I'd seriously consider giving it another go. I too gave up on ME1 after a short time, but when I tried again and forced myself to go a little further I really got into it. My advice would be to get through the opening mission on Eden Prime and to the Citadel, where the shooting tones down for a while. See if you still don't think you can play it then. Also maybe try playing as a biotic so you can throw those "mage" powers about a bit...

With great difficulty! ![]()
You're supposed to sneak up behind them by walking instead of running, and then run and catch them at the last minute, but it's still really hard to get right. I've found that if there's one by a wall where you can get above them, it can be easier because you can drop onto their heads.
This was in Trespasser, right? I had this in my storage chest and never used it during my two runs.
All the more reason to have either KE Celeste or RM Demetria use this staff whenever they get to Trespasser
Yes, it's part of the final dlc.
I hate harlequins. That is all.
I vote for 8 but stay with Josephine. She needs to get more love for all the hard work she does for the Inquisition. And think about the glorious scandal: "Maker's breath. A Qunari and Lady Montilyet?"
I plan to do that PT eventually, and the scandal angle does sound fun.
I just don't want to mish mash trials difficulty with NM difficulty. Plus since it's already started, the approval one apparently wouldn't count. I could recreate Tal-eb'saam (Sam for short) but that's a whole lotta headache I don't want. So, I need a different character for now but I don't know what. The only other race/gender I haven't played yet is male dwarf but they don't really appeal. I could do another female dwarf though and make her a rogue this time. Argh!
But... But... Sera romance is amazing!
I like Sera as a friend, usually, and she's fun and funny to have around, but I don't like her enough for romance. Maybe I'll change my mind before DA4 comes out though. ![]()

Yes, but since I pretty much drag Dorian everywhere, that might be too much Necro in the party. ![]()

Echoing this....I suck at shooting things in ME. I pretty much hit everything BUT the target.
But biotic/tech (aka magic) powers that auto-target are awesome. You can even get them to go around corners if you time it right. Play on easy mode and it won't be too bad. It's worth it for the story and the characters. ![]()
kissed Cullen 3 times and went Dragon hunting! I love Dragon hunting
Fail!Marcus has completed Trespasser. As many may recall, Marcus had quite the dilemma over who he wanted to romance: Cass or Dorian. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth (and killing stuff) he decided on Cass, and sped through the rest of the game in order to get to each stage as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, this left many things undone even after Cory's demise. Companion quests were ignored or never even brought up; keeps went unclaimed; entire areas were left unexplored.
Then it all came crashing down when Cass was elected Divine.
Marcus was so distraught, he went back in time to romance Dorian instead. He still remembers that earlier life though, and what might have been. This is part of that nightmare, and what he is determined to avoid.

He really did. That selection screen is like the final party pic in Citadel with a skeleton crew: so many empty spaces.
The first thing Do-over Marcus did after experiencing his nightmare was to take Dorian, Bull, and Sera out dragon hunting. They took on the Sandy Howler since I discovered (belatedly) she is the one who drops the Armor of the Knights Divine (also Robes of the High Keeper but nobody can wear that one.
). It's not as good as what armor he's now wearing, but at least he can keep it in his storage chest for memento's sake. They are still out in the Hissing Wastes, hoping to find the "Chantry Sister" one last time.
Faye Lavellan.
Finished Forbidden Oasis, Storm Coast and Hinterlands (without turning in most of the quest since I'm waiting for Cole). Conscripted mages and got everyone she could get. Started In Your Heart Shall Burn... and earned achievement "DAI Cinematic Tools Bug During Skyhold Cutscene". Pretty ![]()

Maggie Rift Mage. Canon Inquisitor. Trespasser. Done. Fini. The End.
I'm sad, like I always am at the end of a Bioware story. But it was a great ride and a lot of fun. I think the DLC was a good way to end this chapter of the saga.
Obligatory Ocean's-Eleven/Citadel-style family portrait:
Now that I can't be spoilt, I can come out of hiding and see what you all have been up to. Likes are on me!
So, Demetria along with her boyfriend, Cassie and Vivienne defeated both Gurd Harofsen and Hakkon Wintersbreath much to the Avvar's relief. The lady showed a lot of tenacity during the dragon fight, because whenever he tried to fly away, she'd chase after him shooting fire spells and a string of colourful words.
Demetria also met her predecessor, Ameridan; honouring him by finishing what he started and spreading the truth to the world. Lastly, much to everyone's shock, she recruited Strovacker, Stone Bear Hold's beast as an Inquisition agent. Poor Cullen had to endure Leliana's endless teasing afterwards.
On the way back to Skyhold, some weird stuff happened at a stop in Redcliffe. Jimmy's ram, Lord Woolsley, has a thing for mating against brick walls...
Back in Skyhold, the weirdness continues with the merchants....
Demetria's next adventure? Taking on the Arbor Wilds. The lady Inquisitor has a hidden surprise that'll p!ss off Calpernia ![]()

My key bindings and graphics/other settings keep getting changed to default when I exit the game and then restart. Is this a known issue when having Trials turned on? I've never had it happen before, but it's happened twice today.
