I was trying to get a screenshot of both parts of the fortress (this part is behind you when you come out of the eluvian) aaaand I forgot about the stupid anchor meltdown. So, it exploded and knocked everyone down to almost no health. Right after I just finished regenerating everyone.

 

 

Love this line from Bull. He may be squishy game-wise, but in-story he's a complete badass who survived a trip through hell. At least, he is if you get him out of the qun. If you don't, his only way out is death.

While Do-over Marcus' Trespasser experience was much better than that of Fail!Marcus, it wasn't all rainbows and butterflies.

And now, the bad news....

Ouch! I thought the Solas romance ending was painful, but that's worse. I almost feel guilty for Maggie's Sera   happy ending. That was rough -- and then later when it comes out that the SPOILER is slowly killing SPOILER -- heart breaking. 

 

Sad as that romance ends, I think it's kind of cool that they didn't make every romance end with rainbows and unicorns.

 

I wonder how an IB + lost Chargers romance ends? Yeeeesh!

They're now on their way to pick up Blackwall, which was supposed to be my Inquisitor's love interest but then she met Sera... Damn it, I hate it when Inquisitors don't do what I want them to and make their own decisions!

Solas wanted to accompany our lady Inquisitor on this mission, but he had to grudgingly accept her dress code rule. Morrigan couldn't stop laughing at him.

 

 

Empress Celene and Josie were more than speechless...

 

 

Surprise surprise Calpernia! Pretty much everyone including the allied ancient elves were gawking at this Inquisition group, but no more than Corypheus' Lieutenant.

 

 

Oh, she was royally p!ssed at this fashion faux pas! The other Venatori stared at each other in disbelief.

 

 

After a little girl gossip about Corypheus, Calpernia allowed Demetria to access the well. Before leaving she added, "Do not follow us and stop wearing my outfit better than me!"

 

Morrigan once again drowned her sorrows in the well, because Demetria didn't want to deal with all of the weirdness for the rest of her life.

 

 

Returning to Skyhold

The lady Inquisitor liked to have secret meetings with her newly recruited agents. Loranil seemed to enjoy this a little too much. That couple sitting on the bench can hear you guys....

 

 

And a little sexy time with her big horned boyfriend that ended in a proposal. Bull didn't see this one coming. Such foreshadowing

Demetria, big boyfriend, Cassandra and Sera defeated Corypheus and his red lyrium dragon. She also sealed the breach using the orb of destruction.

That's all for now! I very much enjoyed this run with a lot of laughs. Bull's romance, the fashion disasters and other zig zags across Thedas add to those moments. Plus I loved the rift mage specialization 

 

I will be taking Demetria into both the Deep Roads and Trespasser, so it'll be another fun and crazy time

Yeah, so far I'm 1 for 4 in the fluffy ending department. Julia got married to Cullen; everyone else (Tanith/Solas, Marcus1/Cass, and Marcus2/Dorian) has had their heart broken in various ways.  

 

I have another Solas and Dorian to finish, but I also have Tal'Vashoth Bull and free Blackrain. I'm thinking at least one, hopefully both, of the latter two will have happy endings. I need some balance here people!

Good to know.  Might be a while till I get to them though. I kind of need a DLC break.
 
In that vein, I made a new character, Aravas Levellan. She will not be romancing Solas. In fact, I kinda want her to smack him every time he lies through his teeth (ex: "I did nothing." or "I've never seen this type of magic before." ) Uh huh. Right. As for who she will end up with, I'm thinking Cully Wully, but she hasn't even met him yet.

Also not sure if I like her look. The eyebrows might need some adjusting.

Went to Skyhold with rogue!Fergus and got my spec, DW tempest is incredible. Also crafted him the Templar armor which I love to death but they really should have made it high-res... Bioware!  Now I'm just running around finishing stuff in the hinterlands, way too lazy for the upcoming marathon of companion interaction.
Have a picture of him looking fancy in his new armor and judging everything Solas says:

A few things:

1) I agree, dw Tempest is awesome. I finished playing my own dw Tempest some time ago. Flask of Frost is beautiful skill.

2) I love all three versions of Templar armor and weep a little when I don't play human character. Why BioWare, why? Can't I look fancy from time to time when I'm not human?!

3) If we're talking about high-res, I'll add Carta Coat to list. Like, wtf is wrong with those sleeves...

Did you also play tempest archer? I rolled one a few months ago, this was already utterly fun but tempest DW is even ten times better, shatter ALL the things with Flask of Frost!  Also, isn't the new upgrade for Flask of Lightning just amazing?! 
 
Your dwarf is a real cutie, I don't know why but I really love fem dwarves with this hairstyle. I'm thinking about giving this to one of my main guys, it bugs me a little bit that both of them have the same hairstyle. I mean, I just want them to have short hair but we all know about the options in the CC... 
Somewhere you mentioned you crafted the Carta Coat in different colours because you love it so much, guess what I'm doing with the Templar Armor! 
But it's really annoying that they didn't bother to make all these awesome one piece armors high-res. After all, there is just so much time you can spend looking at the same Inquis-style coat variants...

Back at the beginning again, which feels weird since I've been playing one DLC after the other for the last month or more. Aravas has started to grow on me, so I don't think I'll be making any appearance changes at this time. I think it's just that the first few cutscenes make all quizzies look bad. She looks a bit older than my other femLavellans have. Or, more mature at least. Maybe it's the hairstyle, or possibly the freckles? It's certainly not the outfit.

When I played Sacha (dwarf from above ^), I always had Solas in party. So she with Flask of Frost and Impact detonators plus Solas with Winter's Grasp and Stonefist. SHATTER PARTY! Focused Teamwork was finally useful.

 

Thanks! Yeah, this hairstyle looks really good on female dwarves. She had Harding's hairstyle before, but then she needed change a change. And yes, I did mention that. To tell the truth I just have one Carta Coat that I dye almost every time I visit Skyhold (who has FT materials to craft so much).

Oh, I would run in Templar armor as well if not for the fact that it's been a while since I played human. But lucky me! After finishing my Lavellan's pt I'm going to play... *suspense* 2h Templar! So she'll not look the same as your guy, but still Templar armor.

I was torn between having my female Qunari Inquisitor (which is my favorite) remain canon or a Dalish one, which story wise makes the most sense.

So I found a solution: I will recreate my Qunari character as the hero of the next game. And well, it should be more interesting to play one in Tevinter than southern Thedas.
