I finished Trespasser with my archer and now I'm going to take a little break from Dragon Age because I'm really enjoying Mad Max and then next week is Tales of Zestiria and AC: Syndicate...So many games. I will get back to DA though so I can finish my Solas romance playthrough. B)

Well I am still trying to finish Ullia and I still got a-lot of other inquisitors to finish (Rubblocke, Vlah'Nu, Meltelwin) but I am going to be hopping into TALES OF ZESTARIA myself as well. Lol. It sounds like were not going to be the only ones though I'm sure. Lol.

I finished another playthrough of DAI. I now have the same amount of playthroughs with DAI as I do with DAO and DA2.

The next playthrough will be when I get a ps4 and the game of the year edition.

Nice. However if I get a PS 4 for XMAS I would like to do the same myself. Neat thing is it includes all of the DLCs. Even though it would be mehhhing me for getting JOH for the XBOX 360 but at least I would be getting DESCENT and TRESSPASSER plus the two loot DLCs for free.

Click on my profile. I always update it after every DA and ME playthrough

I should do something like that myself. Besides at some point I should hop back into the ME trilogy. I still got people to finish on all three: ME 1: Lucia L (fem Adapt), Verra Z.(fem infiltrator), Kah'Mora (fem sentinal), Kairon (male Adapt). ME 2: Xoor Faith (fem sentinal), Makio Y. (male adapt). ME 3: Vayhura (fem Infiltrator), Drek D (Male soldier or infiltrator), Rasheena L. (fem Vangaurd), Callica S. (fem Vangaurd), and I think Jadoria (fem Vangaurd). I should iconize my characters for the DA games and ME games at least probably in my profile. Lol.

Even though I completed Trespasser with Maggie, I never got better than a 50ish score with the fireworks, so I went back to try for the Chromatic Greatsword everyone is raving about. Got stuck in the low seventies for like forever, stupid multiple shots, but finally got lucky with one of the multiple shots and got like 3 out of 4 of them. Button mashing FTW! Got an 80, good enough! Ran straight for the Golden Nug, because a game crash right then would have made me throw my keyboard through a window. Hope future IQs appreciate all that tedious effort.

Congrats! I haven't managed to do that yet, or catch more than 1 of the stupid harlequins. <_<

I've never gotten higher than 64 on that thing.

I think my highest so far is 76 or 78......sooooo close.

Hahaha awesome! Did Aravas also p!ss off and punch Solas yet? She sounds b!tchier than Tanith.

Nah, she gets along ok with notromancingSolas. That's the weird thing, though. Aravas hasn't been a b!tch to anyone, at least not on purpose. She allied with the mages, which Cass didn't like, even though she later said she did approve. The drunk sequence kind of caught me off guard because up to that point Cass had been nothing but civil with her, not showing any inclination of dislike or hostility. It really makes Cass out to be a two-faced hypocrite, saying one thing to Aravas' face but secretly resenting everything she's done. It's bizarre, because I've allied with the mages plenty of times before and never got anywhere close to this scene.

Having the trial turned on is really making things interesting!

Something else that really bothers me with the dialogues and not just in DAI. If you say, at any point, you think mages should be free, everyone assumes you mean free to do whatever the hell they want with no accountability whatsoever. That's not what it means! The problem is, by being stuffed in Circles from early on, mages have never learned to be responsible for themselves. And the whole retcon of no more than 3 mages per Dalish clan or they get shipped off to nowhere is just.....arrrgggh!

Which 2H blade is that and what rune did it have on it? Cleansing? It's very glowy and pretty in the desert night.

That's the masterwork serrated greatsword, I picked up the schematic at the Fallow Mire. It was initially created with lower level mats before I made another one with T3 mats. The highest dmg was around 280, boosted by the demon rune. That's the pretty light.

For the last and final greatsword, I always take the Sulevin Blade. There is now  a schematic for this at the Black Emporium but it's mighty expensive. I do the dungeon run, Cradle of Sulevin, and got the blade. The highest damage I've gotten from it so far (this is my 10th PT and all the others are also 2H warriors) with Supreme Demon rune inserted, is 374 on the present Sulevin blade. I cannot determine what decides the stats however, the lowest is around 360 plus. 374 is the best I've seen, even with a few 2H weapons I picked up at the Hakkon zone; it was 'raining' 2H weapons when I made a quick and brief run through it to the Avvar stronghold for T4 schematics.

For armor, I always stick with the Battlemaster Mail, 307 currently (I forgot what sigil but it has to do with stamina / focus), as I prefer the look of it. The Inquisitor Helm also matches the design. I don't like the other heavy armor design though the Disciple looks interesting but there's no schematic for this, I think.  Granted, the armor from Descent has better stats but I thought it's more suitable for a male toon than a female so I dumped it on Blackwall. It was on Cass initially but I prefer to see her face than that helm and that blocky figure so I made another of the Battlemaster armor for her. It fits her, it has the Seeker emblem on it.

I'm on the last stages, the Arbor Wilds.

Life Is Strange ep 5, the final installment is now live (my time zone), the rest will be picked up later. All that remains, is to face Cory, followed by Hakkon and Trespasser.

Well, it was making choices she disapproved of, and then doubling up on the negatives. :P Today I got her hit list to trigger and took out two of them, so I imagine they'll be best buddies by the end of the game. Probably. She also got some points back with Sera by drafting that blowhard Hammond. Still have 1 more book to find for Vivienne but it's in the Western Approach and next area up is probably going to be Crestwood. She went to the Plains first, though, to find Venatori tomes for Rift Mage specialty. Stone Fist is in my near future. :D

Lastly, Aravas let Cullen win at chess since she kept getting distracted by the scar over his lip.

Sidenote: Has anyone read the codex entry for gurguts? It is written by one Baron D'Amortisan and is commented on by his poor scribe, Dunwich.

Finished LIS and I'm fine with the conclusion. :D Went back to DAI and finished the battle with Cory. When I initially finished this game in the first PT, I had several thoughts on the path forward. When Leliana spoke of people lining up for audience with the Inq, etc, I was thinking : But the purpose of the Inquisition is completed, what else is there to talk about? Why hold on? I would have chosen for the Inq to disappear into a quiet life. I was visualising the Inq stepping down, disbanding, handing back those outposts held by Inq forces back to the rightful monarchs of the land. It would take a few months at most so I was totally bemused when it turned out, in Trepasser, that two years had passed and the org is still around. Doing what? I was wondering. So when the political wrangling came in, I was even more bemused; it should have ended long ago. WTF is going on?

Of course, since I was playing a pragmatic practical inquisitor, what I visualised / wanted didn't matter to the story writers. <_< It's their story. ;)

I like the creativeness and skill of other people, they can create good looking / magnificent inquisitors. I'm not that. I settled for what ever the devs put into the game. I didn't like the hairstyles, not at all. I want a short nice looking and practical one (or sweep back into a ponytail like the one in DA II) but there's none of that. Eyebrows are also a joke. I didn't like the weird 'bosomness" (no such word I know) of the female toons; like someone said, they had breast implants. Why? No idea.  I just give thanks the heavy armor, Battlemaster, is not so foolish. It's workable, practical. That suits me, at least my eyes  , fine.

They slouch in very weird ways as if their spines go crooked at will, their heights varied on somebody's whim. Whose? No idea. I would not call them Inquisitors but the hunchbacks of Skyholdiness.

Can't resist one last swipe.

Welp, still wasn't able to upload my pictures.  Stupid innernets.  Husband is losing his ish over the internet.  Funny I spend all day at work on the internet so at home I rarely use it - except for send screenshots from the game to my facebook (which I then post while at work).

So Leah is at Skyhold and has a choice of vocations. I really want to go rift mage since I've never done rift mage.  But I really don't want to go to the Exalted Plains (we all know how much I think the Exalted Plains suck).  I had all three Nevarran Skulls and all three Wisp Essences before even getting to Skyhold!  I got one Venatori tome to drop in the Hinterlands with Dorian's quest.

Leah keeps getting more salty responses from Solas (and I don't even have the  fair weather friends trial on).  He's mad because she sent Cole away and conscripted the mages.  But honestly those mages were cray aligning themselves with some nujob magister.  Leah also did Iron Bull's quest.  Saving the Chargers.  Because the Chargers are good people.  Also, she doesn't really get the Qun so it wasn't such a big deal to tell them to suck it.  She decided after that, to ride the bull, as it were...  (What, he has a nice rack).

Oh okay. The thing I'm wondering about is did you get the drunk Cassandra scene after the Inquisitor's crowning? Like you go and talk to her then BOOM! Drunk Cassie on the floor! If so, I find it a little surprising, because I got that scene later after Adamant. One of my previous Inkies was being mean to Cassie during conversations and stacked up disapproval at every opportunity.

Finished my quest in the hinterlands and finally recruited the housemaster guy. Then I did In Hushed Whispers and choose to ally with the mages. Its an interesting mission, because you actually get to see what Thedas could have become. Imagine playing a game where instead of saving the world from a bad future your character was restoring it.

My favourate mission is probably the the one in the arbor wilds with morrigan or In your heart shall burn. All of the main quests in inquisition are intriguing though. Going into the fade was fascinating, especially in comparison to origins ! I wish there were more main missions tbh.

Yep, that's pretty much how it happened. First convo in Skyhold with her. I hadn't even talked to Varric and Hawke yet (which is probably a good thing). When Aravas would end a conversation by saying, "That's enough for now," Cass would respond, very brusquely, "As you wish." Now that I've gained back some approval she's back to saying "Another time then" instead.

I am probably going to do WHWH fairly soon, so I can turn off Fair Weather Friends and get back to normal disapprovals. However, I want to make sure I've advanced my Cullenmance enough to get to dance with him. How far along do I need to be in order for that to trigger?

Did you get to play chess with Cullen and also, did he tell the lady Inquisitor about his lyrium withdrawal yet in Skyhold? Plus making sure every heart option was chosen during conversations.

I decided to roll a Dalish lady Inquisitor and try out Solas' romance. Her name's Talisia, a 2H warrior and future Reaver to make things interesting. She's a black sheep in her clan, because no one expects her, a little elven lady, to wield a giant great sword. So far, Solas admires her and her muscles. If he's ever K.O'ed in a fight, Talisia would nonchalantly carry him over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes

I haven't gotten too far with her, but she's about to meet with the mages in Redcliffe village.

Meanwhile in Origins;

Surana is currently struggling with the issue of how to train a bunch of villagers to fight the undead by nightfall (I'm a bookworm, not a barbarian!), trying to work out how to deal with Alistair dropping the news of his true parentage and how to best ignore the brewing catfight between Morrigan and Leliana over him...

Mahariel is currently frustrated at the idiocy of the Shemlen mages getting most of themselves killed right when they're needed. Luckily, she's met one of their Keepers who is both alive and sane, now they just have to get through a tower of demons...

Cousland is currently hating that Soldier's Peak is so close to Highever and is venting his frustration on the demons. It really didn't help his mood when Avernus described the murder of one of his forefathers in such lurid detail to him either, but at least he can take comfort that they managed to repair the Veil and now have a bastion to plan their revenge against Loghain Howe.

Aeducan is trying to figure out the best way to explain to Alistair that the best hope for Ferelden is for him to marry Anora, since it will bring peace. Breaking off their relationship will be hard, but she's already learned that sometimes the best thing isn't the same as what you'd want... that's why Bhelen's head is adorned with a crown, rather than adorning a pike.

Finally got my internet sorted.  Here are some delayed pictures!

The future was harsh to Leliana, yo!

12144743_10153170016776088_5056439277856

There was a dragon/giant battle, and it looks like the dragon was winning!

12122825_10153170016766088_5015758574309

Leah was concerned about things after closing the breach.. (this is an excellent close up of her face post re-do.  But it was subtle, like one of those monied ladies in LA who has an excellent surgeon)..  Also, this is the same shot I have with my girl Caitlyn in my profile pic :).

12063363_10153170016701088_6378060853448

Ran into some scavenger (Leah had already found her ring in that spider infested hell cave).

12119146_10153170016696088_3256389505820

Casual Leah is casual!

Tangent.  I like this outfit, but I really feel that her pants need pockets in the back.  I hate pants that aren't leggings that don't have back pockets.  They make your butt look less defined.  They can be fake pockets.  I have plenty of ponte knit business pants with fake welt type back pockets but pants without pockets (or the illusion thereof).. bleah!   That's the end of my lady fashion related tangent.  And yeah I realize this is me (Andrea) being a dork.  But hell, when you have you look at your inquisitor's backside all the time you think about these sorts of things and want said backside to at least look as good as possible.

There's something I noticed: whenever I side with the Templars there is always one companion I'm having low approval with as soon as I get to Skyhold.  -_- First time it was Cole, then Dorian and this time it's Sera. I'm not even sure why, I mostly do the exact same things pre Skyhold. Ah well!
But I finally did some questing again! Just some Crestwood stuff but at least I got something done other than running around and waiting for mobs to spawn so I can kill them with my pretty daggers. :bandit:

I really have to use a different worldstate in the next pt, it was Mage!Hawke for the last 28374.

Kiss Cullen wullen buns on the battlements. Then dance with him at the winter palace.

I don't understand why Vivienne would move furniture around if inky gets low approval with her. She's more capable to start a political scandal because of her connections to the imperial court, or do something meaner than that.

Well, my thinking is she wouldn't want to make the Inquisitor look bad since that would make the Inquisition look bad and, since she has affiliated herself with the latter, then she would look bad as well. The furniture thing is just a private "I don't like you" notice that Inky can ignore or get tee'd off at. I headcanoned her laughing it off/shaking her head and, as I said, then going to solve real problems. Let Vivienne have her meaningless fun.

She definitely will instigate things with Cully Wully when she gets back to Skyhold. First she has to get Crestwood cleaned up. Stupid underground fade rifts.

Notice to Arl Teagan: Caer Branoch is now under Inquisition control. Deal. With. It. B)

I guess that makes sense. The other thing is I wish there was a dialogue option to counter Vivienne's snark in that scene. It's like Vivienne wins in her "I don't like you" stint and Inky can't say anything about it.

I played more of my Elven lady Inquisitor, Talisia. She met with the mages and Dorian in Redcliffe village, then cleared the majority of Hinterlands quests and recruited Blackwall. She also told Vivienne to take a hike during her salon. No status quo loyalist mage in the inner circle heh heh...

So, up next, Talisia's heading to the Storm Coast to catch up with Bull and the Chargers. Not sure how far I'll get after this, because Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be out soon. That'll take up my gaming time.

Crestwood is all fixed (heck, even the weather is better!) so Aravas and team of Dorian, Cole, and Cass headed back to Skyhold.  Aravas set up some war table missions, made a quick stop at Undercroft to pick up a new delivery, then bee-lined it to Cullen's office for some alone time. I want to get some decent screenshots so I may have reload/redo the convo a few times.  I'm not sure which dialogue option I want to start with, either: the mage one or just a generic. Perhaps once I see what the other two generics are I can decide.

Up next will either be lots of companion quests or WEWH. Plus, with the Crestwood dragon slain, it's time for drinks with Iron Bull. :D

I did a ragequit. For the first time ever in a game. Playing a dual wielding rogue on Nightmare difficulty in the apostates hideout in Witchwood, the Hinterlands. The floor was littered with magical traps and every time they went off, ALL my party members died. I think I'll just go in with 2 archers and 2 mages so I can do damage from a distance.
