This armor looks terrible.  Looks like a bad chainmail bathrobe covered with a chest plate and obnoxious pauldrons.  Thomas is too cute for bad armor. Since you find that over by the dragon.. KILL IT WITH FIRE....!

Haha! Its stats are -40% fire resistance, just to add insult to injury, though that may be because the dragon already tried to kill it and it still lives. The horror.

I was doing Bull's quest today and had an odd glitch. Gatt completely disappeared for the last cutscene. There was just silence and a gap where he should've been and Bull and Thomas standing around looking awkward. The only explanation is that he died during the combat. It took longer than usual as the Vints were promoted to elites (I got a special shipment for it). He was back at Skyhold though, to do that flouncing off scene, so the outcome wasn't affected.

You know what is funny, I've picked that up and sold it but never actually put it on anyone to see how terrible it really looks.

Sleepy Sandy Howler. She doesn't see us.  So sad that I had to kill her.  I have in past games, had inquisitors skirt past her to the tomb of Fariel, but this time, Adam just went in guns blazing.. When I say guns, I mean his staff which I named Overly Critical - an ice staff that along with his armor and accessories has an 82% critical hit chance.  She never had a chance.

In Emerald Graves. I don't know, while closing a Rift (I was controlling Solas) near a waterfall, I heard female voices. Not saying anything, seems to be ... singing out some eerie notes. I was going what the heck was that? Varric muttered : All this ??? is making me lightheaded.

Then when the second item of that mysterious notes was found. I don't know who mumbled : Yes ..... this has stilled it. (seems to be Solas) Not certain I heard that right.

I never heard any of these sounds in previous PT and for some reason, Solas seems to be rather 'chatty'.

I finished making my first DAI mod. It changes the colors of cloth and leather crafting materials to suit an autumn color palette. I love all the color-changing mods, but none of them were exactly what I was looking for, and I couldn't constantly ask other people for favors, so I learned how to do it myself. I'll put the mod up on Nexus eventually, but first I have to take screenshots of all the things I changed, and that's going to take a while. But here's a preview. This is Silken Nether Cloth from the DLC. I was shooting for "celadon green" and got "spring green" instead, but I really like the color, so I'm going to keep it. Sadly, I wasn't able to figure out how to get the 2nd cloth slot colors to change with the primary color. All the DLC crafting materials do that, and it drives me nuts.

Talia cleared out the Deep Roads and found Branka....too bad she was batsh*t crazy after feeding the members of her house to the darkspawn.  :o Killed her, destroyed the Anvil, made Harrowmont king. Went back with Shale to find Cadash Thaig and help her to recover her memories. How horrifying for her to learn she used to be a squishy dwarf. :P

As I suspected, telling Alistair she wasn't interested didn't work the first time, so Talia had to tell him again that it wasn't going to happen because she was interested in someone else. Stupid dialogue bugs. I freaked out when I got Zevran's approval to 100% and it went from "Adore" to "Warm." Say what?! And then I looked at Al and he was at 100% "Love." Argh. Stupid game is trying to break Talia's heart instead of letting her stay with her boyfriend for the next 10+ years. After reloading a couple of times, I finally got it fixed, so now Al is 100% "Friendly" and I still have a few points to go with Zevran.

Edit to add: I noticed that Wynne going on and on about duty sounded very qunari-like.

I'm abandoning DAI for Skrym. DAI is getting boring.... And I just want to play the really very OP Dragonborn. I can image the Dragonborn using the Warden Commander as a tissue, the Inqusitior is nothing but a spec of dust to the Dragonborn. And Hawke? Yeah, a dust particle to the Dragonborn.

I'm pretty much saying that I think the Dragonborn is the most OP progie out there (The Warden Commander and Gerualt combined might stand a chance against my Imperial Dragonborn.)

Anyhow, I'll also uninstall DA2. I never play the game anyhow. And it wastes my computers batteries. Anyhow, I'll leave DAO there. It'll stay there forever. I love DAO, it's my all time favorite game ever!

I'm totally convinced now that stairs / steps are a killer to giants. Went to Sulevin Keep, the first giant is standing at the bottom of a small flight of stairs with a group of RTs around him. I jumped in, whirl ... he ricochet off the steps and vanished. And yes, he died.

Sorry, but my ME3 FemShep can wipe the floor with your (unmodded) Dragonborn. The Inquisitor can fetch water for us.

... until Trespasser, of course. The Inquisitor's Anchor Meltdown attack is pretty much a 360 AoE Fus-Ro-Dah combined with a fully charged Rank 6 Nova blast and a Rank 6 Flare. Don't give up on DAI if you haven't played Trespasser yet.

Talia, along with her three amigos Zevran, Sten, and Alistair, killed the dragon at Haven. She is somehow (bribery ) BFFs with Morrigan; got Oghren back together with his sort-of girlfriend, Felsi; and found out Wynne is an abomination of the friendly kind. What a bunch of misfits is this group! Oh, and Shale called her "you" instead of "it" for once.  :D

I miscalculated with the male Inq. Now I've a slew of war table missions to work through after Adamant, a whole bunch of them. The lion's share goes to Leliana because I find Cullen's solutions to be nothing more than a hammer or a total dismissal of any benefits. Josie's solutions are also irritating sometimes; using gold, working towards political gain.

There's one WT mission I won't do. Arl Teagan, you can go rebuild your own damn estate yourself, whatever damage that was done, they occurred before the Inquisition recruited the mages, during your tenure. Go scream at your Queen and demand compensation from her, she's the one who put those mages on you in the first place and you agreed  to it or they wouldn't be there. *finger at Teagan* :P

Haha....I left that one undone my last game as well. Pbbbfft to Teagan.  The other one I don't like any of the solutions for is the one you get from the herbalist, about the guy who helped her make her recipes. The "best" option is to send him off to jail on some trumped up charge. Seriously? It's not like whatsherface actually does anything useful, nor do any recipes come from her in the first place. I really don't get it, so now I just don't talk to her enough to get that op or, if I do, I ignore it.

Thought of this the other day after finishing up in Orzammar, but then forgot about it. Given what Valta says when you meet her, how even catching a glimpse of the sky could render her casteless.....what about all the dwarves who headed for the surface to help the HoF? Are they all casteless now, or did they get a "Blight dispensation" or something?

I remember that mission with Teagan. I had the same reaction as you, that and his appearance in Trespasser didn't really do much favors for Teagan in Inquisition. Although, he was a great side character in Origins.

Visited my favorite smith in Denerim and got some spiffy new dragon armor. At first I opted for the dragonscale armor (top pic) but didn't like how it looked, so I reloaded and picked the dragonplate armor (bottom pic) instead. Then Herren told Talia to go away and never come back.

All the times I've played DAO, and this is only the second time I've killed the dragon.

Not too clear about the herbalist. Is it the one researching creatures? If not her, then I have no recollection about this NPC.

I think fighting the Blight is a special case. They can't really dump out nearly half the dwarven population just because they went to the surface to fight the darkspawn.

The herbalist is Elan Ve'mal. She takes over for Adan after you reach Skyhold. Unless you really want that dodgy War Table operation, there's no reason to talk to her.

Hidden dragon skull in the Frostback basin!  Who knew?  Had four ice dragon bone pieces in it to boot.

This.. the lack of symmetry bothers me.  Not sure if it bothers Adam, but it bothers the crap out of me.

Adam killed off the remaining dragons and cleared out the Emprise.  He's working  on the Frostbacks now, obvi.  :)

Oh that NPC. I usually talk to her once and never again. I didn't know she has a WT mission to give. Now that I know, still no reason to talk further to her. :D

Well, it's worth it just to see how horribly all 3 advisors propose to deal with the issue. I probably sat at my computer for 5 minutes flipping between all 3 of them before deciding they all sucked and the crazy elf would just have to deal with it herself. Why couldn't one of my options have been to fire her? Oooh, maybe she's a qunari spy! In that case, I'm never helping her. :P

Yeah! My account on ArchiveOfOurOwn is finally up! My first thing I shall do is brainstorm idea to get inspiration so that I can wright better.I feel a want to wright my Male Lavellen/Cassandra thing cause I wanna make Artemis a softy around her. He's a good guy, decent just....Kind of a big, smart arse that is very blunt about his opinions.

Then maybe I'll do my Dorian romace second, but I really want to wright Artemis first, hes so cute around Cass.... Ugh. Yeah, I'm also gonna write about Skryim too, cause I like the Dragonborn.

I'm so sorry for doing dis, I just waited 3 days to get onto that bloody sight. I don't think it'll be very popular, which I'm fine with. Actually, I'll feel.... Frugal if my first is a blast. Or maybe it'll mean I'm a really good writer {: Life will work it's mysteries on me, :D If I am, then I am, but I hightly doubt it, sense it's a Cassandra Romance... And she's not exactly popular on there. {: Meh. All that matters is that I read it and like it!

(Sorry for being a bit ranty about dis....)

I'm generally not a farmer as it were.  Occasionally I will do so, but I have a crap ton of money in this game so I'll just buy the stuff.  Makes no difference to me if it is ice dragon or regular dragon.  Though you would think that Electric dragons would have hide that gives electricity resistance and the regular three ice dragons cold resistance but no, all dragon hide has fire resistance.  But whatevs!
