@Crowsfeet: What cloth is your Inquisitor wearing? I love that gorgeous red-purple color. Or is it a combination of Lustrous Cotton and the really blue lighting in Emprise du Lion?
Yes, you're right, it's Lustrous Cotton under the EdL lighting.

Still, he's a fine looking Inquisitor!
Okay, a few suggestions, in increasing hand-wavy headcanon excusiveness (is that a word?)
*snip awesome post*
Wow! Ample food for thought. Thank you!
Oh Cap'n Jack..
Bobbed Samson's nose, he has such a nice red shiny nose. Good for the season? Too bad it's the wrong kind of red.
Didn't bother to pick up the other route after doing the rituals. I find it not worthwhile when the additional elven runes cannot be read and the loot is good for gold and nothing else. I still want to kick Cass for saying the elven veneration of their gods and everything in the temple is nonsense. At one time, I had compared her to Susan Ivanova (B5) and then decided they were only alike in their strong personalities and their career paths; both are soldiers albeit different settings. Ivanova is more receptive while Cass is a blue blooded Andrastian; shields up, full speed, no stopping for anybody.
I'd really want to hear her thoughts once Solas's intentions are revealed. Too bad there's no extensive discussion with everybody sitting down together and hashing out the problems after the declaration at the Council. I think it would have rounded off the parting of the companions nicely. Anyway, Trespasser next.
Started up DA again on Xbox last night and am working my way through the Hinterlands. Also, I can't wait to unlock the Black Emporium because I'm seeing a few details on my character that could use some touching up. I took a big break from Inquisition so it's nice to be back in Thedas.
Today I made a mod that turned Skyhold into Dragon Age: Miami. It was only partially intentional.
I've been making various Seasonal Palette mods, and Summer is under development at the moment. I wanted shades like aqua, coral, marine blue, and sand, and those all turned out beautifully, but the color I thought would be butter yellow was closer to electric lemon-lime. It was... not what I wanted.
Finished Talia's story through Awakening, Golems, and Witch Hunt. I hate Golems of Amgarrak. It's just....not fun. The companions are awful (and I normally like dwarves) but Jarrik and Brogan have no personality whatsoever. Not to mention the Runic Golem is worthless as both a fighter and a healer.
I like both Ariane and Finn in WH, but it's so short there's really not enough time to spend with them. As for Awakening, I ended up with nearly max approval with everyone (even Velanna
), brought Nathaniel (so he survives), Oghren, and Sigrun with me for the final fight, and saved Amaranthine. Did all the board quests, even the Blight Orphans. Unfortunately, I guess you only get the Blight Orphan epilogue if you do just the first quest, not all of them.
Now I'm ready to create my second ever male Hawke and see what kind of trouble he can get into. ![]()
So.. I'm finally, after a gazillion playthroughs, playing with a dwarf. I abandoned a dwarfquisitor PT forever ago. I'm determined to finish this one with my petite killer Gemma. I'm also thinking of siding with the Templars this game (also something I hardly ever do). We'll see.
Just finished my canon Inquisitor playthrough this past Thursday. Told myself I'd replay again in the lead up to DA4 but feeling sorely tempted I restart again, like, now. Sigh. I can't stay away. The more I replay a character, the better the experience.

Oh? Are you playing a Female or a Male Dwarf? I can't really see myself playing through as a Female Dwarf despite my intentions pre-release of DA:I.

Lady Dwarf named Gemma. I definitely cannot see myself playing as a male Dwarf. Can't ever see myself playing as a male Elf either. I might roll a male Qunari. I've only ever actually played male as a human. But Dwarf is the last race I've yet to finish as game as.
Made a Male Dalish Elf in DAO
Put the Male Dalish elf in DAA
Is currently trolling Velana with him,
Am currently having a hard time finding Venatori Tomes for the Rift Mage specialization. I've fought what feels like easily a dozen or so Venatori Mages and have only received one of the three books needed. I didn't nearly have as hard of a time unlocking the other specializations for my other Quizzy's.
Got started with my new Hawke. Here's Julian, in the cc and after making the deal to get into Kirkwall.
He might need some adjusting in the BE... ![]()
I went the smuggler route (again) but not before convincing Lord Whatshisname to pay up in exchange for not getting turned into mush in the Gallows. Julian is a rogue, so Bethany is alive. Probably won't take her to the Deep Roads since Warden Bethany is just not a happy person. Plan to romance Fenris (again!
) and side with the mages over loopy girl....erm, I mean Meredith. Not sure what will happen with Anders. I usually can't decide that part until I get there, but I won't kick him out since I hate missing out on content in Act 3 (yes, even content that consists of gathering dried up dragon poo). At least I make Anders do that part. ![]()
^ Good looking fellow. ![]()
I'm having fun killing qunari, especially the rogues. It's most amusing to hear their stupid taunts long after they're dead; do you fear the dark, inquisitor? Um..sorry, gal, I'm afraid you're the one the dark will embrace and you should fear it, may your whatever (spirit) get eaten by demons on the other side.
I most certainly do not want them as allies in DA4 even if they managed to find a way to strengthen the Veil if such a choice come about. I don't doubt they would since they'd probably tell their robotic intellectuals to work on the problem just like they told which ever poor sods they set on to mine the lyrium; I can even visualise them methodically taking down notes of those who suffered the effects - #1 handled lyrium with bare hands and suffered hallucinations in # days, died after x day, suggest xxx gloves and containers. #2 had gloves and containers, suffered the same effects in ## days, double layering and masking might be more effective. And so on, with the bodies piling up somewhere until they reached a stable working solution.

Look in the Exalted Plains if you have not yet. Occasionally you can find one of them in the Hissing Wastes or Forbidden Oasis if the Vints have made their presence known there. And I agree, the tomes are the hardest for me to find. Often I have the Nevarran Skulls and the Wisp Essences before I've even gotten to Skyhold.
I know I wasn't here in a long time, but I was quite busy with playing DAIMP and DA2.
Francesca Hawke just defeated Meredith in an epic battle ![]()

And with that my new WS for my next few DAI PTs is ready. ![]()
+1 Exalted Plains. The spots marked on the map on the wiki page have never failed me for Rift Mage:Am currently having a hard time finding Venatori Tomes for the Rift Mage specialization. I'm waiting for Skryim to dowlnoad on Steam
It's 75% DONE! YEAHHHHH! (not it's not the first time i've played it) AND IT'S NOT TAKING 24 HRS YAY, I LOVE YOU STEAM!
More Julian Hawke:
These "daggers" crack me up. They look more like giant cleavers.
Just finished two hours of running around the Hinterlands completing all the side quest in that area, all i need to do now is finish the Storm Coast and I can finally begin the Journey to Skyhold (Realized I'm pushing over 45 hours).
Also got a few of my Companions to actually interact with one another, and i just notice that most dialogue in my party activates more with Varric and Cassandra.
Varric and Cass = R2D2 and C3PO. ![]()
Finished Trepasser. Qunari hit hard, I made sure to hit harder. It's just too bad sword skills are limited to 8. Well, 6 since two are taken up by the Anchor skills. Dumb. Especially when the music kicked in and you want to start to go all out to beat the crap out of those bastards. I wish there're more lines when talking to vidasala, especially when she spoke of bringing "peace" to the south (and what happens to those who refuse your "peace", your way of the Qun? just for the sake of hearing her answer) The qunari reminds me of the protheans, say they managed to ground Thedas under their heels. Their "peace" won't last forever. Eventually, someone is going to come along and shatter their tidy little robotic world into pieces.
End scene. Kind of weird actually. Cass walked away out of view and then backtracked in to stand beside the inquisitor. Couldn't she have just stepped over to the right? ![]()
Good ending for Cullen, he remained inquisition commander and revamped Chantry treatment for Templars. Even though I didn't recruit Viviene, I've to presume the opposing mage faction is hers. Leliana is unattached in this PT so epilogue says she devoted herself wholeheartedly into her role of Devine, making changes to the Chantry and surviving several assassination attempts. Varric is viscount with Hawke helping him. Honestly, the stupid cloud about weisshaupt is nonsensical, a convenient tool to pull the char out of the way. Dorian's bit is the same; message crystal and all that. IB is still with the chargers. Sera is still sera, didn't bother much with her, as usual, so she has no stronger ties with anyone except Dagna. And blackwall disappeared into the unknown as a grey warden.
When the epilogue talk about elves in both countries vanishing, I've to presume the Dalish did too, not just those in the cities. Or is it? What was the world like when the Fade and the world were 'one'? Humans were around so I presume they must have some way of dealing (living) with the Fade. I would even go so far as to say they might probably have been one and all, able to wield some magic but not with the same level of skill and management as the elves. Magic then might not have been the anathema as it is now. But when the Veil came about, it also created chaos among them. The forebears of the qunari might have been the same except that they decided that it's an evil thing. Their culture was probably different and it took a drastic turn.
Anyway, wish that piece of music in the last of Trespasser is available.
The whole soundtrack for Trespasser was excellent. They did a good job all around, sad as the ending is.Anyway, wish that piece of music in the last of Trespasser is available.
