Time to imagine every scene like if my character is Yennefer -.-
If you are on PC, you can get a bit closer with this mod:

Time to imagine every scene like if my character is Yennefer -.-

Gee, I think the CC mods are really good but I'm wary of running mods (especially if the instructions say to fiddle with too many folders, etc) and I usually don't. I would use cheats though. For ME 1 - 3, DAO and DA II, it was the dev console to get more money. For DA II, especially for it, mob kills because I didn't fancy wading through wave after wave of mobs in uninspiring dungeons. Otherwise, I pretty much play the games as they are.

The trials are part of the Trespasser DLC, though unrelated to the story of Trespasser. They are basically challenges to give some variety to subsequent PTs. This one in particular is a challenge to reach Skyhold before your character reaches level 6. When the trial is checked as active, it halves the experience points you earn. I plan to leave it on for all my future games, just to avoid hitting the level 27 cap before finishing the game.
The trial called "Even Ground" promotes enemies up to your level (it does not scale them down, however) and then challenges you to kill the Ferelden Frostback when it is level 16 or higher. This is another one I plan to always have on, since it prevents you from being over-leveled at later stages in the game. Another promotes random enemies to much tougher versions (for example, super strong barriers that can effectively only be taken out with Dispel, or guard-generation where they won't normally have it) and you get the achievement for killing x number of promoted enemies.
I think they are a lot of fun and make the game a bit more challenging. Still, they don't call it "Trial of the Fool" for nothing.....I was level 4 trying to take out level 8+ promoted enemies and it wasn't working out so well for me.
Ohhhhh....ok....Well since the Xbox 360 version doesn't offer the DLC I wouldn't of had any idea at all. I am still trying to avoid anything pertaining to TRESPASSER and DESCENT since BIOWARE still refuses to put them on older consoles due to technology standards. i was hoping to get a PS 4 for XMas but my dad said it was to expensive and was hard to get on Black Friday. Upside is at least i know there is a PS 4 GOTY edition for the PS 4 which includes almost all DLCs except the premium DLC.
I had so much regret romancing Sera and will never do it again. It was like romancing my little sister and seeing her boobs was weird.
I'll romance the hell out of Dorian, Cullen or Iron Bull though. I tried to romance Cass once but she took too damn long. I have a low tolerance for the slow game, as it were.
Anyhow.. I did the Descent. We dealt with some earthquakes..
We saw wonderous things, yo..
Please note that I dusted Solas off and actually took him places. You can see the sheen on his bald head.
Also, I went to the Frostbacks. I found this dude... Not sure why he is dead. He had both wine and cheese. Are those not the two most important food groups?
Next time can you please encase your picture posts as spoilers for those that haven't played any of the DLCs.
Cullen does not have that facial hair on PS3. It looks so nice.

It's a bit faint on the XBOX 360 version but I can see it.
I want a f***cking sexy sorceress but the CC of this game sucks a lot, I am tired of playing with trannys!
Time to imagine every scene like if my character is Yennefer -.-
i did like your bottom looking character. She honestly looks like one of my DAO characters i was trying to make very similar to this named Vayhura Dite. I do agree the CC can be a wee bit sloppy and I had my fair share of making crappy looking DAI characters myself.

Serious ugh. i spent a good near 45 minutes for Azul Hwallo and ZOMG she came out bad. I reached Skyhold and felt like I couldn't stand the way she looked.

I spent a good near 2 hours for Ullia Mint Tooth and man she came out far better than Azul.
Sera is hard work. I've been trying to get past the 'I get to know you, we'll see' stage but my approval doesn't seem to be high enough yet. And everything I do to gain her approval causes me to lose approval with Solas, resulting in Solas hating me. Sera better be worth it. I'm off to kill the Western Approach dragon now, maybe she'll like that.
Have you got past the pranks and cookies? If so, a common problem is that people don't exhaust all possible conversation options with her, specifically the one where you can tell her that you understand why she's not like other elves. It seems as though that might generate disapproval but it doesn't, and for the romance to progress it's necessary to explore every conversation option short of kicking her out.Sera is hard work. Yes, I did the pranks and cookies. I noticed I don't always get notifications when approval changes because I just did all the dialogue options and it didn't say there were approval changes, but I did manage to advance her romance
So now I hope I can still make it up to Solas, somehow. His betrayal at the end of the game seems so much more tragic when you're friends with him.
I started a new game with Maya Cadash. She's a member of a crew of assassins and troubleshooters in the Carta. She's not an assassin herself, but she outfits and sources the crew with all the nasty tools of the trade. She's like "Q" to James Bond, only more in the line of enchanted arrows and invisible traps. She's not what one would call nice. When there is a "red fist" option in dialogue, that's the one she uses. She's smart, but also a thug at heart. Which is why Blackwall is going to fall for her, obviously. Solas and Cass have already taken a strong dislike to her and I'm sure Cole is going to leave the Inquisition in a huff, if not a puff of smoke.
Is it possible for a dwarf to get to the punching Solas stage of disapproval? If anyone can do it, it will be Maya, even if she has to stand on a chair to do it. ![]()
I don't have a screenshot I like of her yet. As usual, I'm never satisfied with the result of the original CC. A trip to the BE is needed.
She'll be an Archer Artificer on a Nightmare run with Trials Even Ground and Grizzly End before Skyhold, Walk Softly added on after Skyhold.
I'm using these mods:
Why no love for Cullen? I couldn't find an outfit replacer I liked. Recommendations welcome.
I did a lot since my last post.
I got to Skyhold after siding with the mages and it's beautiful. It was still good looking on PS3 but PS4 does it justice. I soon learned the Rift Mage spec and started the Solas romance. I met with Hawke (Female, Mage, Merril Romance, Mage -sided, Snarky) and took care of the Crestwood rift. I killed the Crestwood dragon and met with Stroud. I did the companion quests of Cassandra, Solas, Dorian, and Iron Bull. While in the Exalted Plains I gained enough Dalish Favor to earn another Agent from the local clan. I even explored the Lost Temple of Dirthamen. The Western Approach was next, and there the party encountered Eriomond the ass. After killing his Warden victims, I met Fredrick and began hunting the Abyassal High Dragon (one of my favorite things to do in this game). The Abyss Dragon was hunted successfully, and Fredrick became another agent.
I made a new video XD. (Warning: Spoilers for the Solas romance and all the DLCs!!!)
I'll probably play some DA: I later today and work on my human mage a bit. I haven't played in awhile and I'm getting the itch! I'll be sure to update here ![]()
More rebel mage goodness. Got to Skyhold, went to talk to Cas, and found her drunk off her ass. Pissed that she ever vouched for my mage ass, and "raised me up."
Didn't get this on my PS3 playthrough, where I was a tad more diplomatic. Didn't know it was possible to get Cas to hate you. Of course, I gave it right back.
You know I just realized that several of my characters that I exported to the PS4 can restart the main questline in Jaws of Hakkon, even though I already did it with those characters on PS3.
Taking a break and went to explore YT.
When I watched the vid below, I was going; I will play an elf if they look and fight like her.
I presume she's a mage warrior, unlike the pedestrian mages of DA (they're kind of pedestrian to me
when it comes to battlemage abilities). Whimsically, I also see a 'rogue' , a 'qunari' and 'blight wolf'.
The tracks are not a good splice, due to (I suspect) the length of vid. Still, I'm not familiar with the chars portrayed (my bad, I totally missed out the title in front
).
Off to the Arbour Wilds with Thomas. Horribly overlevelled at 24, but Even Ground helped with that. I think this is my favourite mission after IYHSB. It was particularly beautiful this time as I'm on PS4 - it was lovely on PS3 but this was something else.
All sense of urgency was lost as Thomas spent so much time gawping at the scenery and searching about. Embarrassing admission - this is the first time in 5 playthroughs that I noticed Celene at the base camp. I think I was always just too eager and took off. Thomas is my first 'faithful' Inquisitor and was able to join in prayer with the soldier (getting some xp in the process, thank you, Maker
).
Thomas completed the rituals and accepted Abelas's help, Morrigan drank from the well, Sera complained about Elfy stuff, Dorian was shocked at the revelations about Tevinter. Morrigan made this face:
Back at Skyhold, all the companions are basically saying goodbye - all their final scenes, which I always find really moving. Fight with Coryfish is on the horizon and then that's it for Thomas (other than DLC).
I went dragon hunting. Already killed the one in Western Approach and The Hinterlands, today I killed the Crestwood dragon and the one in Emerald Graves (the place with Fairbanks). Also, I completed Josephine's quest and for the first time did all the noble thingies instead of just getting Leliana to destroy the contract. Next on my list is destroying the rifts in Emerald Graves and then I'm taking Solas to Exalted Plains to see if I can get some approval with him. Although I was pretty pissed that he gave me disapproval for being in a relationship with Sera. I'm fine with him questioning and disagreeing with Inquisitor-decisions but disapproving who Inky falls in love with? Come on.
I decided to let my sword/shield Champion, Elissa, take a break and played my Elven Reaver Lady Inquisitor, Talisia. She's a bit OP now at level 24, because she cleared all of the major areas, killed all ten high dragons and is currently rampaging through the Frostback Basin. The Jaws of Hakkon hardly stand a chance against this tiny and mighty lady.
Other than that, Talisia still has to save the Wardens at Adamant and complete the rest of the main story too. Plus get her heart broken by Solas. No doubt, she'll rage and throw him across the other side of Thedas when that happens.
And for fun, I snapped a few pics of her demolishing the Western Approach ruins ;P

Spoiler
I was thinking it was kind of Lord of the Rings-y, but then lizardy folk showed up so then I thought maybe it was Skyrim-y. Regardless what it is or even if they just made up their own story/characters, pretty much anything by Two Steps From Hell screams "Epic!" ![]()

Skyrim-y is right. The cinematics are from Elder Scrolls Online. Not using the in-game engine, though, unless I'm very much mistaken.
Beat Coryphypants. Thomas looked at him with a very cross expression and he melted into the fade like the wicked witch. Got inspired Leliana as Divine which is a first, so happy about that.
The only hiccough was Varric glitching at the party. I couldn't click on him to chat - I tried reloading but nothing - he kept his council. I have a feeling this might affect his Trespasser cutscene. A shame if so.
Next stop for Thomas will be the Deep Roads. This will be my first time playing this DLC. New content, woo! I really enjoyed the Deep Roads section of Trespasser on previous pts so looking forward to it. I want to keep Bull as my tank so hope he's up to it, he did fine in JoH, it was Thomas who kept getting one shotted.
Heh. I have a screen shot of my avatar sneering at Corypheus as my desktop at work. "That guy looks mad," my boss says.
I wish I still had the starting save for him. I'd like to replay him again now that there are mods. Then again, I do have the final save for him and I never played Trespasser with him. I can always screen cap my sliders and have a go at recreating him. I'm just afraid that the magic won't be there anymore.
Regarding Varric, you should be fine. His Trespasser content depends on the completion of his personal quest, not talking to him at the farewell party.

I made sliders for Thomas, just to see if I could recreate him. The result looked like his twin brother - him but not him. I think you're right, something will always be slightly off - the magic indeed. You should take your Inquisitor through Trespasser. He has a great face, really handsome and will look good in those cutscenes :-)
Thank you for the compliment! He was probably my greatest success with the character creator. Took me about 5 minutes to make - no lie - and it was 100% pure luck. Couldn't do it again if I tried.
The problem with taking a character through Trespasser is that it's The End with capital letters. I don't know if I'm ready to say goodbye to him yet.
That has always been my big obstacle: finishing the game with characters I love. I'll get all the way to the last quest... and then I'll start a new character and never do it. Sometimes, it's hard to let go. And that's why I don't really like cameos for returning characters. If I liked them, I want my memories of them to be how much I miss them, not how tired of them I'm becoming. I don't know. Maybe you know what I'm talking about. You've been chronicling Thomas's journey through the game, sharing pics of him and his adventures. How do you feel, going into the home stretch?

ESO? Incredible. I'd never have thought it. Trailers are always the frontispiece for games except that now, they're in a world of their own. The actual game can't even match up with the glamour. I watched some ESO gameplay vid. The ingame graphics are horrible and gameplay mechanics is terribly dated (I'm reminded of Asheron's Call but Turbine did a better job with that 1999 title) dissatisfying and frustrating. An example would be the horse costing something like 40 or 70k gold but a high boss drop only 2 gold pieces. Just 2 gold pieces, nothing else. Do the math; how much slogging to get that horse?
Unless of course, RL money is dished out and the horse is yours. They probably made some improvements by now but still, ES fans were probably mostly disappointed with the product.
I'm definitely on hiatus from DAI. Looking forward to RoTR next week, pc version. I hope it's a good port. *cross fingers*

Yeah. DAI unlike DAO/DAA and DA 2 don't have "friend/rival" meters so you get this "your guess is as good as mine" feel as far as how your friendship is.
When you have certain events happen and do them well enough you can really hit up who you want to all the way. At certain points you can still break up with them but after certain points when your locked in your locked in.
Heh. I have a screen shot of my avatar sneering at Corypheus as my desktop at work. "That guy looks mad," my boss says.

I still like this picture I took personally. I still would love to see how this would look as a desktop picture.

But...I want to see more pics of your Inquisitor
. I get attached to other people's characters - I lurked this thread long before I posted anything, and I watch Let's Plays (I'm fussy about those though - I once watched someone close a rift and not pick up the loot, it made me twitchy
).
I can understand you not wanting to finish. I feel sad when I think about saying goodbye to Thomas. He's my 5th Inquisitor, but my 1st on PS4, so it has been like a new game this time round, with the Nug, wardrobe, trials, new weapons and armor etc and he's my 1st warrior (my heart still belongs to rogues though). I'm the opposite of you in the sense that I like to finish a playthrough before starting the next one - the ending is hard but necessary for me.
I spend an age in the CC, I have to love them straight away or they go back in the pot
and I can't concentrate on it and take it seriously if I'm still playing someone else. Also, I love Trespasser and am looking forward to playing it with Thomas - I won't be rushing though. There will be feelings, but that's why I love this game.
