Whew, it was a busy time for Freya!

After the breach was sealed successfully, Haven celebrated, drinking and dancing the night away. But the joyful time didn't last forever. Unknown forces approached in the distance and Cassandra and Freya hurried to the gates, where a surprise waited. The mage Freya had met earlier in Redcliffe, Dorian, had come to warn them about the mages, as well as their leader, the "Elder One".

Spoiler

Freya and her companions set out to deal with the first intruders, and the trebuchets were successfully deployed against the mage army. But then a dragon appeared, and everyone retreated to the Chantry in order to form a plan. Chancellor Roderick knew a secret passage to guide the people of Haven to safety, while Freya stayed behind, playing bait. This "Elder One" was coming for her after all.

Spoiler

Freya fended off the dragon and its master, a magister called Corypheus, barely making it out alive in the process. With her last strength she fought to catch up to her people, braving ice, snow and stormy weather. She had just reached the point from where she could see the camp, then she blacked out. She came to next to Mother Giselle, hearing Cullen, Cassandra, Leliana and Josephine argue. Mother Giselle sang a song, a song of hope, and everyone joined in.

Spoiler

Solas shared an idea where to go, and together they marched, soon reaching their new home - Skyhold. Cassandra and the advisors made a reluctant Freya their Inquisitor... she was a Dalish elf and only believed in her own Gods after all.

Spoiler

Freya took the opportunity to talk to Vivienne, Sera, Josephine, Solas and Leliana.

Spoiler

Freya also paid a visit to their latest addition, Dorian. She learned a great deal about him and Tevinter, and she's intrigued by his charming side...

Spoiler

Blackwall took Freya to the ramparts, where she flirted with him. She liked flirting, she had always been a bit of a wild one. She had flirted heavily in Haven already, but now Blackwall had gotten a bit too serious, admitting he feels more for her than they should allow themselves. She had noticed how he had looked at her throughout their journey, and she knew he was right. She was not looking for anything serious anyway.

Spoiler

She went to find Cole next, learning more about his kind, compassionate nature. She's glad he's here, Vivienne will have to get used to him...

Spoiler

She talked (and flirted :P) a bit with Cullen and then learned about Cassandra's biggest secret - smutty literature. Now that's an interesting topic for Freya!

Spoiler

Iron Bull took her out to meet some of the soldiers, and she was happy Bull had done this for her, it was a nice idea.

Spoiler

Freya (well, it was more me, I hadn't seen the new stuff yet ) discovered the wardrobe in her chambers. Nice touch. She changed her clothes and enjoyed a moment of peace on her balcony, before duty called again. She was to judge someone...

Spoiler

Freya also did a lot at the Storm Coast today and completed the Fallow Mire.

The Descent still does not work after repair (no, I do not use addons), so I had go back to the DA2. I created a new mage Hawke and try to rival with Fenris. For now quite hard. First everything seemed to go well, then I got back +20 friendship

Spoiler

(By the way... any chance that I'll be able to play with the Descent?)

I made a new themed Worldstate in preparation for the next 3 Elf Inquisitors I play. I still have to get my current Faithful Human runs finished first.

I decided to stop my current DA2 playthrough to start another DA2 playthrough.

In this playthrough, which I've already started, I want to do the least amount to complete the game. I won't recruit Fenris, Isabela and Sebastian. Will avoid any fighting, if possible. Won't do any companion quests. Curious to see what level I finish at.

Fran Hawke - rogue/archer

- meet a redhead and her husband

- my brother died. at least I still have a sister left

- red killed her husband

- the dragon has some roasted darkspawn

- my uncle is a dirtbag

- meet Varric

- help Anders

- recruit red who goes by the name, Aveline

- met Merrill

- hello dragon lady again

So far I've got over 35 sovereign. I like to have 50 by the time I've done for the expedition. As I say. I don't want to do more than I have to.

MAYA vs SOLAS

After Adamant, Maya made the rounds at Skyhold, making sure the crew was still following her lead.

Varric was torn up about losing Hawke. Maya hugged it out with him, but didn't turn the knife. Varric might be useful in the future.

Leliana and Cullen needed some tough love. Maya had to scold them both to get their heads out of their arses.

Dorian recommended keeping quiet about their jaunt in the Fade, but Cass wanted to write a memoir and Josie wanted to tell everyone Andraste saved them, again. Maya agreed with Dorian and told the other two to keep quiet about the Fade*.

Sera doesn't like Wardens much, which might have become a problem, but she likes Blackwall, so Maya stayed friends with her.

The Iron Bull passed along a message from his handlers: the Qunari want an alliance? That will be the day that nugs fly, but Maya played along.

Vivienne and Cole didn't have anything to say about Adamant. Just as well, they were both tedious to talk to.

Blackwall was splitting wood. He was sad that the Wardens had been led so far astray and forgotten their oaths, but was glad that they were now part of the Inquisition. Maya's heart melted a little seeing Blackwall's relief -- she'd have to watch that. She'd done some unprofitable things on Blackwall's behalf. That could mean trouble.

Finally, Solas. She'd been putting off talking to that egghead. He'd been getting more and more snippy every time she talked to him. He was needed, as the resident expert on the Fade, but his disapproving tone was getting tiresome. Maya had more patience than the average Carta operator, but it wasn't infinite.

So it was no surprise that Solas finally crossed the line.

* This is the first time I noticed that you can't make consistent dialogue choices. If you agree with Dorian that the adventure in the Fade should be kept out of the press, to discourage copy-cats trying to get into the Fade physically, you can't then tell Cass not to write her memoir nor Josie to not answer the zealots who want to blame Andraste for saving them from the Fade -- meaning, they already know about the adventure in the Fade! I suppose I can headcanon it to mean that Maya personally will say nothing about the adventure in the Fade, but the Inquisition's official position will be no comment on the Fade, and that Cass won't reveal her memoir until after she's dead.

Kiri is still in The Descent and just cleared the Darkspawn Warren from Darkspawn in an epic 18 minute battle.

Of course she then claimed the second camp and talked with Valta about the book she found.

Started a new run a few days ago turning out very differently than I thought it would. Eris was suppose to be a ruthless pragmatic ends justify the means type but has turned out to be mostly a very soft cuddly sarcastic girl. (I seriously think I require other people to be around me when role playing so I don't fall into the nice person rut) Had an interesting thing happen during this and the last run though can't find nearly any bears but Eris can't go ten feet without wolves or bandits appearing out from thin air. Oh and today she got to see a flying giant and an undead giant so that was fun.

Fran Hawke

- gave the mages back to the templar

- help the sister

- did Jarvaris' dirty work Arishok wasn't pleased. I don't care. I got coin

- this is the deep roads? Why isn't it called the Deep Undeground?

- I'm rich

- I will buy my own company to make video games hahahahahahaha

- the Cullen templar has taken my sister to the circle. By the end of the day it will be the rectangle hahahahahahaha

- Emerich is dead go to find the killer

- that poison gas is nasty. yuck

I have to say this playthrough I'm just steamrolling through. Its funny when running by all the baddies hoping to exit out the end, but it doesn't work. I have to kill them before I can exit. It has worked a few times saving a lot of time and not gaining any experience points. I'm currently at level 9 with only 3 more missions before fighting the Arishok

Progressed some more with Freya :)

Varric's old friend had arrived and was ready to meet Freya. It was Colin Hawke, the man who had faced Corypheus before, and he told Freya about a contact in the Grey Wardens who might have more information. He was currently somewhere in Crestwood.

Spoiler

Freya knew from Leliana's reaction that Cassandra would be very pissed about the fact that Varric knew where Hawke was all along. She was right, and her intervening made Cassandra furious because Freya defended Varric. But the warrior came around quickly, and she and Freya had a little chat. Afterwards Freya went to see if Varric was alright, had a chat about Corypheus with him, and revealed that Cassandra was a big fan of his books. He promised he would write the next chapter for her. Freya can't wait to see Cassandra's reaction to it.

Spoiler

While preparations were made to depart for Crestwood, Freya strolled around Skyhold and talked to Vivienne and Iron Bull, who asked for a round of drinks when she had time. First though she went to see Sera and Cole, and then Cullen, who made a confession to her.

Spoiler

Freya took Bull's invitation to drink with him and his Chargers, so she could get to know them a little more. A perfectly fun night before leaving for Crestwood.

Spoiler

Crestwood was wet, dark and dangerous. Scout Harding told Freya about a rift in the middle of a lake, and that undead were everywhere, pestering the village of Crestwood. Freya and her companions set out to help the village fight their undead. This meant to delay meeting Hawke's contact, but it would be a good thing to seal this rift first. After draining the lake that covered Old Crestwood, the path was free. The entrance of the cave that would likely lead to the rift coincidentally was near their camp. Freya could use a good night's sleep, so they returned for the time being to rest before dealing with the rift. Vivienne slept alone in one tent, Cole surely was somewhere outside, and even with some distance between them Freya could feel the body heat of Bull lulling her to sleep.

Spoiler

Random Crestwood shots :D

Spoiler

Also, I loved the conversation with the Command Spirit, poor Bull being the victim :P It was so funny. I made a short video, if anyone is interested.

@fraggle....wow! that's pretty much what I did over the weekend. :) I have just the wyverns and the dragon left in Crestwood. Gotta make the rounds at Skyhold first though.

Freya is quite the flirt. Who's she gonna end up with?

Epic indeed! I really liked that battle when I did it. Definitely top 3 in the entire series for me. I love the background music, too.

Cass was a bit of a disappointment in your party. First she got the stand and do nothing bug in the first half, then when she was freed up (by Kiri getting knocked out), she started running around in circles at about 4:16. Useless!

Solas had like 2 hitpoints left and no health potions in the final battle with the Emissary Alpha, but kept on keeping on for a long time. I kept expecting him to give up, but he didn't until the very end.

Ah! That's what she was doing and I wondered why I didn't get any backup from her.  <_< (I'm mostly too busy to look what my party does  )

I just watched the video again and omg, Solas died, for like 1 second, then Sing-a-long kicked in and rezzed him xD Oh I love the Encore staff

Crestwood is now safe from all manner of wild beasties. The dragon fight wasn't too bad, except the game crashed when she was down to half health so I had to start over. <_<

Next up: back to the Western Approach to meet up with Hawke and Stroud, then clean up the rest of the area. I brought Bull this time since he likes dragons so much. ^_^

Haha yeah, I noticed in your previous posts too we were around the same parts in the game :D I have a lot left to do in Crestwood still though. Probably doing it today, let's see!

The little naughty elf ;) I never made anyone that flirted that much, but so far it had been fun, just a shame it got so serious so quick with Blackwall, but it was a great dialogue nevertheless.

Anyway, ahem, she's going to ride the Bull, casually at the beginning of course, but then she gets a little too attached to him. That's one of the reasons I made her flirty and cheeky, I just think it fits this romance arc :)

Btw, your picture of Sam posing in front of that owl statue in Caer Bronach is awesome, hahaha!

Came back from resource gathering in the Exalted plains today and a friend of Varric's showed up claiming to know something about Corypheus's original source of red lyrium. It's a female friend... I suspect their is much more than friendship between them. Not going to get it out of Varric. It would require him telling the truth about himself.... that ain't happening.

later...

Well that was.... interesting. There is definitely some history between those two. Seems complicated. Most things with Variric are. Think I'll be keeping my nose out of it. Got my own woman trouble to deal with. Why did it have to be poems?? I hate poetry... fine...

Eris seems to have a problem with animals.

Recruited the Wardens after saving their butts

Turned Bull away from the Qun

Finally gave Vivi her last circle book

Went to the Hisswastes and saw a bronto on speed.

Benched Dorian for his unexplainable fence blood lust.

And killed another dragon.

OK, mission complited :)

Fenris enraged... was not easy, first i tryed gathering some rivalpoint at Gallows and constantly provoked him with the mage's oppression. (Hawke almost was like Anders in Act3...)

1. strategy: I dont gave to him the Book of Shartan, and I do not talked with him before I finished A Bitter Pill quest.

2. strategy: I finised the templar-rescue quest with him, and I confronted with Cullen in mage issues. Then I was able to talk to him and gave him the book – for rival points.
